It seems that the case for innocence in a rape case is that they "CRY OUT"...I don't know if you got my point...so I try again....Speaking from painful experience my daughter did not have the chance to cry out as SHE WAS DRUGGED...She was with friends and drinking coke...but hideously paralysed although very conscious and aware...sometimes these drugs allow the victim to hypnotically agree or participate with the criminal...my case was that the struck adhesion to the law where one MUST CRY OUT...cannot be always enforced...as in my daughters case...and my 14 year old cousin who was trapped at her friends place between her friends mother and father...both had conspired to the deed and at that was a high ranking official in the religious organization...her father was the priest and the rapist was the right hand man...my cousin is probably the most pure in heart the one can get but even 20 years later is still suffering and cannot have children...another scenario is under extreme shock people become paralysed and also it just might be safer to endure the rape and live rather than struggled and die...

We said at the beginning that for every rule THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS!
It is only the law that one must cry out in very specific situations that may very very rarely be applicable.
Nevertheless, we can still learn from the Law.
Crying Out is very good advice most of the time (though not always) and in many cases is what is needed. If a potential victim under attack or threat of attack or borderline case of coercion etc would cry out many attacks would be prevented.
Crying out pumps adrenalin into a nervous system that may otherwise be in shock. It can jerk the body into further action.
Crying out makes everyone including the potential victim, the assailant, and bystanders know what is happening.
Crying out can often help prevent the attack.
Sometimes the attacker is afraid, or drunk, or drugged, or under the impression that the victim may be amenable etc.
Shouting may be all that is needed to wake everybody up.

There is a story in the Talmud about a Sage who was once overcome by his evil impulse and tried to gain access to a group of captured women.
He then began shouting "Fire! Fire!" Bystanders arrived and he explained that he was shouting to save himself from himself.

If despite crying out the attack still takes place (which is often much less likely) the victim will have done something against it.
This factor should help in psychological recovery.
We realize that sometimes the person is not even always aware of what is happening until it is almost over.
Drugs, alcohol, fear, shock, surprise, drowsiness, perturbation, pain, borderline cases, etc. all may play a part.

Another point is that this counsel is suited to the majority of situations.
It may be that 99% of the time crying out prevents attacks and saves from violence and 1% of the time it provokes it.
Should we not give this counsel because of the 1%?

We are not judging anyone but offering advice that may help.

#3. Question on Nazarines and Pacifism

http://www.britam.org/now2/1462Now.html#Question

Oh come on folks, let's get real here and not take things out of context:

Brit-Am Reply:

(a) Pacifism.
The Bible is against Pacifism.

# Cursed is he who does the work of the LORD deceitfully,
And cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood #(Jeremiah 48:10).
<<<

This quote from Jeremiah is a part of a much larger prophesy against Moab, because Moab magnified itself against the Almighty, and fell into idolatry. The previous chapter (Jer47) was against the Philistienes, and the next chapter (Jer49) is against Ammon, Edom, Damascus, and Elam. Why? Becuase they did not help what remained of IsraEl, Judah, and turned against YHVH. That is the short of it.

There are as many quotes in Scripture against violence and war and the sword as there are for it. But it is the context we need to witness in Scripture, not the mere words that can be taken to mean anything we like, if we strip them of their context.

Do you not know Jerimiah, and his lot in the grander story being told in his, DaniEl's and other prophets of the time words? It was the final fall of Judah, the last of the IsraEl Moses led out of Egypt. The last, so we are led to believe, of the dynasty of David... ahh but Jerimiah escapes into history with "the king's daughters"... so the Davidic line was not totally extinguished.

In any event, to hold back one's sword from executing righteous judgement is a cursed deed. such as allowing this monster Islam to rampage unchecked upon this earth. but the sword that is used to dislodge totaly innocent people from their homes, so that murderers can take them and plan bloodshed against those same innocents is also a cursed deed.

one should be very careful in cursing, and using the word's of the Almighty for their own agenda.

love,
davey

3. PM Netanyahu: Ezekiel 37 Fulfilled in Israel

37-Fulfilled-in-Israel/

JERUSALEM, Israel - Speaking on the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz in Poland last week, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu proclaimed the fulfillment of the prophet Ezekiel's vision of the valley of dry bones.

"The Jewish people rose from ashes and destruction, from a terrible pain that can never be healed," Netanyahu said at the ceremony.

"Armed with the Jewish spirit, the justice of man, and the vision of the prophets, we sprouted new branches and grew deep roots. Dry bones became covered with flesh, a spirit filled them, and they lived and stood on their own feet, as Ezekiel prophesized:

"Then He said to me, 'Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, 'Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!' Therefore prophesy and say to them, thus says the Lord God, 'Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves."

Netanyahu often quotes scripture in his speeches. From his youth, he has been a student of the Tenach, the Hebrew Bible or Old Testament, which records the history of Israel and its people.

Experts say archaeological excavations in Jerusalem and throughout the country continually verify the authenticity of the Bible, which all Israeli children study as part of their school curriculum.

In related news, the youngest Netanyahu, 15-year-old Avner, scored 98 in the final round of the Jerusalem Public School District's Bible Quiz on Tuesday.

The prime minister, his wife, Sarah, and Avner's older brother, Yair, were on hand at the Bible Lands Museum in Givat Ram to congratulate him.

Like many Israelis, both Bibi and Sarah Netanyahu come from families who made Bible study a priority in the home.

Later this year, Avner will represent his district in the national Bible quiz.
