1. Introduction. The Israelite and Tribal Aspects of the USA.
The Lost Ten Tribes are amongst Western Nations. Possibly about half of them numerically are to be found in the USA. The USA contains representatives of all 12 Tribes including many from Judah. In the USA the descendants of Joseph are especially dominant. Joseph was divided into two Tribes: Ephraim and Manasseh. Again numerically it may be that there are more of Ephraim than Manasseh in the USA BUT Manasseh is pre-eminent. The USA reflects the Tribal character of Manasseh. [The Tribe of Ephraim acheived a more pronounced expression amongst the British and their offshoots.]
We found the Israelite origins of the USA reflected in the dollar sign. This symbol helps identify the USA with the Exiles of Israel from the Ten Tribes.
2. The Dollar Sign is the Emblem of Tarshish and the Atlantic Ocean, as Prophesied in Isaiah 60.
The US dollar sign was an adaptation of a sign that appeared on Spanish pieces of eight. This was common currency in Latin America and also popular in the USA.
The Spanish sign was based on the Coat of Arms of Spanish Royalty depicting two pillars representing the Straits of Gilbraltar.
We see from Isaiah 60 that in the End Times the Israelites will return by airplanes "that fly like a cloud, and like doves to their windows".
They will also return by ships of Tarshish meaning ships from the Atlantic Ocean area. This is the region of North America, the British Isles, and Western Europe. It is worth noting that the great scholar Cyrus Gordon believed that Tarshish referred to North America.
There are reports that Jews in the 1600s considered the ships of Tarshish to be the ships of the Netherlands which at that time had international importance.
At all events they were associated with the Atlantic Ocean area.
The Prophecy of Isaiah concerning the ships of Tarshish also inspired the explorations of Christopher Columbus in the Atlantic Ocean area.
These lead to the discovery of the Americas.
Chuck Missler (quoting from Encyclopaedia Britannica, Vol. 16, p. 688) tells us:
Columbus was more driven by prophecy than astronomy. He compiled a collection of Biblical passages in his Libro de las Profecias, Book of Prophecies: Proverbs 8:27, which speaks of the earth's surface as being curved; Isaiah 40:22, the spherical earth; and the ocean currents in Isaiah 43:16.5
He would later describe his discovery of the New World as "the fulfillment of what Isaiah prophesied," from Isaiah 24:15, "Isles beyond the sea," and Isaiah 60:9.
[Isaiah 60:9 is the verse concerning the ships of Tarshish.]

Isaiah 60:
9 For the coastlands shall wait for me,
the ships of Tarshish first,
to bring your children from far away,
their silver and gold with them,
for the name of the Lord your God,
and for the Holy One of Israel,
because he has glorified you.
