Ten Tribes
Dear Yair,
I compliment you on the great work you have done and continue to do.
From reading your words over the past few years, I seem to understand you as
saying that, (1) Christians of Joseph should return to Israel, (2) Christians
of Joseph should not try to convert Jews, and that Jews should not try to
convert the Christians.
Is this correct?
If it is correct, then the statement in this news letter (no. 1401) below
seems contradictory:

The Israeli citizenship matter tickles me too. The only reason they
weren't granted it years ago is because they believe in [the
Christian Messiah].
How can any Christian of Joseph then come to Israel if he will be forced to
deny the Christian messiah in order to become a citizen? If the Jews are not
trying to convert the Christian, it seems that at the very least they do not
want to allow him to continue to be a Christian.
Mr. Davidy, please let me know what your personal feelings are on this matter.

Shalom,
You have understand our message to be that:
#(1) Christians of
Joseph should return to Israel#
That is not our message, except for exceptional circumstances.
Descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes (i.e. Joseph) will return to the land of
Israel as well as to neighboring reasons that are also part of Israel such as
Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, etc. This is what has been prophesied.
How this will come about no-one knows.
Indications are that it will be as the result of collective action, under a
leader, and in co-ordination with Judah.
For the moment as individuals those of you from Joseph who recognize your
Israelite Ancestry are called upon to do just that:
Become aware of your Israelite forebears and internalize the information.
Turn back to Biblical values.
Support the State of Israel and judge Judah in a favorable light.
This is what Brit-Am the Ten Tribes Movement is all about in addition to
representing Joseph before Judah and those of Joseph who are not yet aware of
their ancestry.
This is much more important than it may seem and is not an easy task.

This (as we indicated in the Brit-Am Reply) is not strictly correct.
The Black Hebrews were not granted citizenship because they are not Jewish.
They are also anti-Jewish, anti-white, adherents of their own religion, and they
believe in the Christian Messiah.
You fail to realize that Joseph has a problem:
He got lost.
On the whole he himself does not know who he is.
Judah does not know who he is.
No-one (apart from groups such as Brit-Am) knows who he is.
He retains almost nothing Israelite of what he formerly had other than
instinctive reactions and forms of behavior he re-adopted under the influence of
Christianity.
Those few amongst Joseph who do know who they are now have an attachment to
another religion that they do not want to abandon and that Judah cannot accept.
The Messiah will sort things out.
Things are not as hopeless as they seem. Everything has a reason and purpose.
The Brit-Am Ten Tribes Movement does what it can according to its understanding.
They who really are concerned with the matter and really want to help both
Joseph and Judah will help Brit-Am.
We are the only organization working on your behalf.

3. New Sister Feature to New Joseph
Forum
When we started NJF we were not sure as to whether there would be enough
material to justify it.
Now we find that we are splitting it in two and adding a sister feature
alongside it.
From now on,
New Joseph Forum will deal mainly with questions of Theology and Attitude
specifically of Ephraimites in the sense of Israelites who identify as such and
want to apply this knowledge in major aspects of their existence.
Though all non-Jewish descendants of Israel may be defined as Ephraimites not
all of them identify as such.
Telling it as it is
Discussion of Ephraimite Questions in a Brit-Am Context
will deal more with practical applications of Brit-Am Knowledge in a wider
context.
It is obvious that the two features will overlap but so do all our features.
