I think Obadiah's poignant letter regarding "10-tribers" supporting Brit-Am was a great letter and unfortunately, true. As a "10-triber" I first learned of my probable Hebrew ancestry about 7-8 years ago through a certain magazine published by a church affiliated with Herbert Armstrong. I then subscribed to the magazine and learned much about the Biblical evidence of the tribes settling in the west but the secular evidence was lacking. After several years of reading this magazine, I became frustrated and felt a little stupid about not having much evidence to support my beliefs. That is when I started searching the internet and fortunately, found your web-site about a year or so ago and it has changed my life. I find it hard to believe and unfortunate that after several years of reading this magazine, your name and organization were never mentioned (at least, not that I know of). Before I found your web-site on the internet, I didn't know that there were Jews who actually believed the theory of western nations descending from the Israelite tribes! Don't get me wrong; this particular magazine is insightful and well written. I only wish they and other organizations would acknowledge you and the great works of literature you have published.
I cannot thank you enough for all the time and energy you have put into this very important work. I believe your organization is at the vanguard of the ten-tribes movement. I pray that our God blesses you and helps you further our cause. Thank you Yair!

The excavations were carried out in cooperation with the Israel Antiquities Authority, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, and the Company for the Development of East Jerusalem. Archaeology students from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as well as volunteer students from the Herbert W. Armstrong College in Edmond, Oklahoma, and hired workers all participated in the excavation work.
Brit-Am Note:
First of all archaeological excavations in Israel are important and these particular digs conducted by Professor Mazar may well be more important than all archaeological projects conducted at present. By participating in this activity the students are contributing to belief in the Bible, strengthening the State of Israel, helping the Jewish People and encouraging all Bible believers everywhere. They are to be congratulated and encouraged.
In the past we have met up with students from Herbert W. Armstrong College in Edmond who have been participating in these excavations.
They make a very fine impression. They and their instructors seem to be quite positively inclined towards Brit-Am, Movement of the Lost Ten Tribes.
Herbert Armstrong, his followers, and those who were once followers but broke away, all did an enormous amount to spread knowledge of and encourage recognition of the Lost Ten Tribes being amongst Western Peoples. No-one can ever take that away from them.
They were also in effect the first "Ephraimites" in a religious sense or if not the first they were the ones who brought the issue into the mainstream of public consciousness.

People have been responding to our recent appeal but we still have far to go.
We wish to thank all those who have helped so far. Personal letters of Thanks are being sent out.
The message we believe should be going across at present is that the struggle of Brit-Am is the Struggle of Joseph (as well in a sense, as that of Judah) and Joseph should be aware of this. They who are aware of the truth of our message have been chosen for a reason. They have been called and should express this calling through drawing closer to the Almighty, through Bible learning , and through supporting Brit-Am how they can.
