Hello Yair,
Re Brit-Am Radio Comments on
Obama
and 67
http://www.britam.org/radioObama.html
I read and listened to your comments concerning the speech of President Obama on
the Rachael Cohen and Cynthia Grace Radio Show.
Brit-Am responded to the ongoing Peace Process between Israel and the PLO. I
salute you for a very powerful and courageous respond to Obama's ideas of true
and lasting peace in the Middle East.
As a politician, he still playing fox games with the Peace Process, trying
accommodate both sides. His proposal for Israel to
return to the borders of 1967 is jeopardizes Israels security. In your comments
you explained very well that it is impossible for Israel to accept such a
proposal for obvious reasons:
# no strategic depth to defend itself,
no room to live, no water resources, no viable ecological framework, no
protection from enemies and terrorists- nothing. Without the regions of Judea
and Samaria the state of Israel can not survive. If the Israelis do not build in
the "territories", they will not control them. #
You also strongly oppose the principle of sharing the Holy Land with
the Arabs and the "Two states solution" as an anti-Torah position. The God of
Israel in the Bible shares this view (Numbers 33:53, 55, 56).
The Brit-Am proposal to remove the Palestinians from the Land of
Israel (because they are not behaving) and peacefully resettle them with
financial help somewhere in the North or Latin Americas for their own sake is a
good idea. Scripture, however, describes this a little bit differently.
In short, all the Arab and Muslim enemy-nations surrounding Israel will be
soundly defeated and thrown out of the
Holy Land in military confrontations by the join forces of Judah and Israel (the
Ten Tribes) and their lands will be repossessed by "Greater Israel" (Isaiah
11:13-14; 17:1; 34:5,8. Obadiah 1:18; Ezekiel 25:12-17; Jeremiah 48-all; 49:
24,26,27; Zephaniah 2:8-11; Zechariah 9:5,6).
The Arabs (Ishmaelites) should not live in the Holy Land.
Sarah the Hebrew Matriarch told Abraham:
" Get rid of that slave
woman and her son, for that slave's woman son will never share in the
inheritance with my son Isaac" (Genesis 21:10).
The Israelites will never be uprooted from the Land of Israel, thus said
the Lord (Amos 9:15).
As a Christian, the President Obama does not follow God's Commandments and
disobeys the will of the Almighty that is
clearly expressed on multiple occasions in the Bible. HE says the Holy Land is
"My Land"! God has given this Land for ever to His People Israel. Obama's
version of a Peace Process is not what the Prophets revealed about the future.
If genuine Peace in the Middle East really is a human possibility, why has
Scripture drawn a different picture?
For instance, destruction of the attacking Arab and Muslim nations round about
(Isaiah 11:13,14; Zechariah 12::6)?
Or the march of the hordes of the Gog and Magog against Israel (Ezekiel 38 and
39)? Or the siege of Jerusalem by all nations of the world (Zechariah 14)?
I like your point, Yair, where you speak of the Law of Deuteronomy 17:15 which
says that Israelites are forbidden to chose a King (President or First-Priest)
from foreigners.
Yair
Remarks:
This is not really my point. It is from
the Bible. The Sages considered it a positive commandment. They
understood the Biblical Principle as extending to all authority e.g. even minor
governmental functions over Israelites should not be entrusted to
non-Israelites. |
Americans being Biblical Israelites mainly from the tribe of Manasseh, violated
this God given Law by choosing a President (King), "who is not your brother."
Given his background and position of holding the highest political office in the
world, it is hard to expect from him objectivity and Biblical truth in mediating
the Peace Process between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
President Obama and the rest of the "Quartet" Plan for Peace in the Middle East
have retained intact the old policies whose elements include:
taking sides; twisting the arms of Israeli Governments; anti-Semitism; appeasing
the Muslim and Arab World; being intimidated by threats of terrorism and oil
embargo from radical Islamic regimes; political correctness; securing their own
energy (oil) interests; and ultimately ignoring the Sacred Words of the Bible
and the well being and security of God's People Israel.
Today, May 24, 2011 Premier-Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu made a speech
in front of a Joint Meeting of the Congress of the United States. He said that
Israel will never return to the indefensible borders that existed before 1967.
Speaking of the refugees, he pointed out that Jewish refugees have a right to
return to the Jewish State. Likewise, the Palestinian refugees will have a right
to return to the Palestinian State. In other words, the Palestinian refugee
problems will be resolved outside the boundaries of Israel. He made a clear
statement that Jerusalem will
remain the undivided capital of Israel.
Netanyahu committed to making painful compromises and giving away parts of the
ancestral Jewish homeland in order to achieve genuine peace and a "two states
solution."
Under no circumstances Israel Israel negotiate Peace with the terrorist
organization of Hamas, with whom the PLO lately chose to
unite. Netanyahu and Obama are both of the opinion that the Palestinian push to
seek United Nation recognition of an independent Palestinian State in September
will not create an independent state. The Palestinian leaders will not achieve
peace and prosperity by delegitimization of
Israel and uniting with the terrorists of Hamas.
As a politician, Netanyahu follows the same pattern of former Prime Ministers.
Being under huge pressure of the "arm bender" external policy of the "Quartet"
which also includes so-called International World Opinion along with a
resurgence of anti-Semitism around the
world; internal pressures from Israeli Government coalition parties; all kind
of peace movements; the press; university professors; democratic demagogues;
fighters for Peace, Human Rights and Justice; and Arab lovers who do not mind
giving all the Land of Israel to the Palestinians and living under their rule,
assuming the Palestinian Government will allow them.
If in the event of "peace" and the Palestinians having their way the Jews be not
allowed to remain then they will have to return to their previous countries of
exile and wait there for the better times when God will send the Messiah and
bring them to the Promised Land again!
From the point of view of Judaism I think that Netanyahu is well advised and
knowledgeable of the fact that giving away parts of the Holy Land and
establishing in it a politically independent Palestinian state is condemned by
the Torah. Such actions go against the will of the God of Israel.
Dear Yair, what is the solution?
I am convinced that Brit-Am's way is the only solution! The Jewish people need
Joseph (Ten Tribes of Israel) and Joseph needs Judah! The sooner they wake up
and unite with each other, the sooner they will be redeemed by the Almighty.
United, they become a Power all the World will have to reckon with.
"You are My war club, My weapon for battle. With you I shatter nations, with you
I destroy kingdoms" (Jeremiah 51:20).
Only through reunification of all the families of Israel and final redemption
with the advent of the Messiah, son of David, will all Israel be saved.
At last, they will "know" their God; will listen and
obey Him in realization that only God can save and protect
them. As soon as these things come to pass, all of Humanity will be redeemed and
usher in the long anticipated Messianic Era.
Sincerely yours, Alexander Zephyr.
