The West
The Lost Ten Tribes in the End Time
will be mainly situated to the west of the Land of Israel.
The exiles would be taken to the
west (Isaiah 24:14).
[Isaiah 24:14]
"THEY SHALL LIFT UP THEIR VOICE; THEY SHALL SING FOR THE MAJESTY OF
THE LORD, THEY SHALL CRY ALOUD FROM THE SEA."
FROM THE SEA: In Hebrew the word for sea is "yam" which also can mean
from the west. The Aramaic and Commentators
say it means the exiles will be in the west in the last Days. Then it goes on to speak of Britain.
[Isaiah 24:15]
"WHEREFORE GLORIFY YE THE LORD IN THE FIRES, EVEN THE NAME OF THE LORD
GOD OF ISRAEL IN THE ISLES OF THE SEA."
Hosea also speaks of Ephraim in the End Times as being found primarily in the West:
[Hosea 11:9] I WILL NOT EXECUTE THE FIERCENESS OF MINE ANGER, I WILL NOT RETURN TO DESTROY EPHRAIM: FOR I AM GOD, AND NOT MAN; THE HOLY ONE IN THE MIDST OF THEE: AND I WILL NOT ENTER INTO THE CITY.
God will not destroy Ephraim but neither will HE enter (cause HIS presence to be felt) into any other city apart from Jerusalem (Saadia, Iben Ezra).
[Hosea 11:10] THEY SHALL WALK AFTER THE LORD: HE SHALL ROAR LIKE A LION: WHEN HE SHALL ROAR, THEN THE CHILDREN SHALL TREMBLE FROM THE WEST.
The Exiles in the West shall be gathered together to return (Targum Yehonatan).
[Hosea 11:11] THEY SHALL TREMBLE AS A BIRD OUT OF EGYPT, AND AS A DOVE OUT OF THE LAND OF ASSYRIA: AND I WILL PLACE THEM IN THEIR HOUSES, SAITH THE LORD.
Like a bird from the west (Egypt) and like a dove from the North (Assyria) the Exiles will return.
[Hosea 11:12] EPHRAIM COMPASSETH ME ABOUT WITH LIES, AND THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL WITH DECEIT: BUT JUDAH YET RULETH WITH GOD, AND IS FAITHFUL WITH THE SAINTS.
Ephraim goes away from the Torah yet Judah remains faithful
[Hosea 12:1] EPHRAIM FEEDETH ON WIND, AND FOLLOWETH AFTER THE EAST WIND: HE DAILY INCREASETH LIES AND DESOLATION; AND THEY DO MAKE A COVENANT WITH THE ASSYRIANS, AND OIL IS CARRIED INTO EGYPT.
Here Ephraim is described as being driven by an east wind which from the east blows westward.
[Hosea 12:2] THE LORD HATH ALSO A CONTROVERSY WITH JUDAH, AND WILL PUNISH JACOB ACCORDING TO HIS WAYS; ACCORDING TO HIS DOINGS WILL HE RECOMPENSE HIM.
We see that both Isaiah and Hosea speak of the exiled Ten Tribes of Israel (represetned by "Ephraim" in Hosea) as being in the West in the End Times.
