Brit-Am Questionnaire.
(Shevat 5771, January 2011)
Some years ago we conducted a
Brit-Am Survey.
The Brit-Am Questionnaire below is a new version of the survey we did previously.
Every answerr received is appreciated and will be taken into consideration. Many of the recommendations made will probably
in the course of time be put into effect or at least influence future decisions.
The Questionnaire.
The Questions:
1. How did you first hear about
Brit-Am
2. What aspects would you like Brit-Am to improve?
3. What subjects would you wish to see Brit-Am emphasize more?
4. What most pleases you about Brit-Am?
5. What (if anything) most irks you about Brit-Am?
6. If you do not support Brit-Am financially for reasons other than lack of
means is there anything Brit-Am could do to change this?
Do you have any ideas as to how we could increase our income that we need to
function?
7. Do you find the Brit-Am message convincing?
8. If you are not convinced by everything Brit-Am says, what is the weakest
point in the Brit-Am presentation?
9. What do you consider the strongest point of Brit-Am?
10. If you come back to the site more than once what articles do you go to?
11. Future Publications:
We have several projects in various stages of completion.
Which of the following would you most like to see:
A book of Commentary and Explanation on one of the works of Prophecy; Isaiah;
Jeremiah, etc ?
A work on ancient history and the Ten Tribes, dolmens migrations, etc.?
New editions of The Tribes, Ephraim, etc.?
Something else?
12. Organization.
The Brit-Am organization as a social activity with regular meetings may be
soon re-activated in Israel, the USA, and elsewhere.
Would you be interested? Do you have any ideas on this matter?
Replies to the
Questionnaire:
1. Andy Hollingsworth (UK)
> The
Questionnaire.
> 1. How did you first hear about Brit-Am?
A Jewish friend lent me books by Yair
> 2. What aspects would you like Brit-Am
to improve?
The organisation/layout of the website. The information is excellent but
sometimes not that accessible.
> 3. What subjects would you wish to see
Brit-Am emphasize more?
None.
> 4. What most pleases you about
Brit-Am?
The immense amount of research around the ten tribes.
> 5. What (if anything) most irks you
about Brit-Am?
The layout of the information.
> 6. If you do not support Brit-Am
financially for reasons other than lack of means is there anything Brit-Am could
do to change this?
Yes
> Do you have any ideas as to how we
could increase our income that we need to function?
Come and speak at events/conferences. You could produce a study pack or.
Series of short booklets on subjects.
> 7. Do you find the Brit-Am message
convincing?
Absolutely. I like your objectivity.
> 8. If you are not convinced by
everything Brit-Am says, what is the weakest point in the Brit-Am presentation?
Aspects of your work around Christians being part of the Israel.
> 9. What do you consider the strongest
point of Brit-Am?
Obviously your ability to prove the ten tribes are scattered into western Europe
& the migratory paths.
> 10. If you come back to the site more
than once what articles do you go to?
There is so much information I find myself meandering through many
subjects (that is a good point).
> 11. Future Publications:

> A book of Commentary and Explanation on one of the works of Prophecy; Isaiah;
Jeremiah, etc ?
> A work on ancient history and the Ten Tribes, dolmens migrations, etc.?
> New editions of The Tribes, Ephraim, etc.?
> Something else?
I would love to see them all. They all sound extremely useful.
> 12. Organization.
> The Brit-Am organization as a social activity with regular meetings may be
soon re-activated in Israel, the USA, and elsewhere.
> Would you be interested? Do you have any ideas on this matter?
I think that would be excellent. I live in the UK & hardly anyone has heard of
you and it would be good if there were events that people could attend rather
than just visiting a website
2. John R. Salverda
1. How did you first hear about Brit-Am?
I was researching "the Lost Ten Tribes" on the internet and came across your
site.
2. What aspects would you like Brit-Am
to improve?
How about adding a page of links to ancient source materials, (where they can
find the works of Josephus, Ginzberg, Herodotus, Rabbinical stuff, the
Septuagint, etc.) enticing more researchers to use your site. You could get a
lot more referrals from Google and the like.
3. What subjects would you wish to see
Brit-Am emphasize more?
The historic role of Christianity in collecting the lost tribes into its'
association.
4. What most pleases you about Brit-Am?
The fact that it is not a religion, but more of a mutual educational
society, learning as well as teaching. Its' dogma is not strict and I don't feel
as though I will be excommunicated if I come up with a new idea or doubt
something that is asserted on the site.
5. What (if anything) most irks you
about Brit-Am?
I perceive an uncomfortable bias toward Judaism and against Christianity.
6. If you do not support Brit-Am
financially for reasons other than lack of means is there anything Brit-Am could
do to change this?
No, it is definitely lack of means in my case, pray for me to gain wealth.
Do you have any ideas as to how we could
increase our income that we need to function?
Try selling more advertizing on your site. Expand your book sales by using
outside promotions. Trademark a new, eye catching, logo, sell caps, tee-shirts
and coffee mugs (raising money and advertizing your site at the same time).
Increase your membership, by having current members refer others, encourage your
members (and you yourself) to visit and contribute to other similar sites (blogs
and forums on history, mythology, religion, and archaeological sites), answer
their questions and refer them to the Brit-Am site. Try recruiting "sustaining
memberships." How about "pledge drives?"
7. Do you find the Brit-Am message
convincing?
Yes!
8. If you are not convinced by
everything Brit-Am says, what is the weakest point in the Brit-Am presentation?
Reliance upon mere name similarities as evidences, and also, more citations to
original historical (secular) source materials would strengthen your
presentation as well, in my view.
9. What do you consider the strongest
point of Brit-Am?
Your Scriptural interpretations.
10. If you come back to the site more
than once what articles do you go to?
Besides my own articles on Greek myths, I like other guest articles
especially those of an historical bent. I also find the Scriptural commentaries
helpful to my own studies and researches.
11. Future Publications:
We have several projects in various stages of completion.
Which of the following would you most like to see:
A book of Commentary and Explanation on
one of the works of Prophecy; Isaiah; Jeremiah, etc ?
Sure.
A work on ancient history and the Ten
Tribes, dolmens migrations, etc.?
I Like this idea!
New editions of The Tribes, Ephraim,
etc.?
Why not?
Something else?
How about a book advocating
the idea that the Greeks came from Israel before the Assyrian invasions?
12. Organization.
The Brit-Am organization as a social activity with regular meetings may be soon
re-activated in Israel, the USA, and elsewhere.
Would you be interested?
No thank you, I'm afraid that I am not very sociable.
Do you have any ideas on
this matter?
How about a forum, or a blog, or a chat room where members can
communicate directly between each other? They may argue it's true, but these may
also lead to resolutions of differences (This too is a goal of Brit-Am).

> 3. What subjects would you wish to see
Brit-Am emphasize more? KEEP US UP TO DATE ON DNA FINDINGS
> 4. What most pleases you about
Brit-Am? IT'S FREE - I HAVE NO INCOME
> 5. What (if anything) most irks you
about Brit-Am? NOTHING
> 6. If you do not support Brit-Am
financially for reasons other than lack of means is there anything Brit-Am could
do to change this? MORE YOUTUBES
> Do you have any ideas as to how we
could increase our income that we need to function? NO, BUT I PRAY TO
G-D THAT HE CONTINUES TO BLESS U
> 7. Do you find the Brit-Am message
convincing? I CAN'T AFFORD YOUR BOOKS, BUT THESE EMAILS ARE CONVINCING
> 8. If you are not convinced by

point of Brit-Am? YOUR EXTENSIVE QUOTES FROM VARIOUS RELIABLE SOURCES
> 10. If you come back to the site more
than once what articles do you go to? KHAZARS, DNA, ARCHAEOLOGY
> 11. Future Publications:
> We have several projects in various stages of completion.

> 12. Organization.
> The Brit-Am organization as a social activity with regular meetings may be
soon re-activated in Israel, the USA, and elsewhere.
> Would you be interested? Do you have any ideas on this matter? SOUNDS
LIKE A GOOD IDEA FOR THOSE WHO ARE ABLE TO MEET.
4. Christian Loor.
The
Questionaire
:
1. How did you first hear about Brit-Am?
During a topic search online I came across the site.
2. What aspects would you like Brit-Am
to improve?
The most important thing BritAm could do to be taken more seriously by more
people is to UPGRADE the WEBSITE.
I cannot EMPHASIZE this more. The design is very bad and not aesthetically
pleasing to look at let alone navigate.
There are too many websites in existence online that have set a greater
standard for beauty and navigability to not have applied these standards by
now. You continue to plead for financial support but MOST PEOPLE, who are not
geeks and nerds for the information you supply, will not spend more than a
minute on your website before moving on and never returning. Your website looks
like it was designed by an amateur in the early 1990's. You really need to
hire a professional, an Information Architect to organize your site and properly
categorize everything into an easily accessible and easily digestible format.
That alone will win you many new patrons.
3. What subjects would you wish to see
Brit-Am emphasize more?
If not already done, perhaps an exploration and revelation of geneologies
and family trees of all biblical characters or at least the important figures
and include the relations and connections to biblical tribes ... perhaps include
non-jewish too.
Also inclusion of all the extra-biblical books that are mentioned in the
bible. Make all that is known about these texts available to your audience.
Put these texts online in digital versions so that they can be accessed, read,
and studied.
Include a list of highly acclaimed commentary.
4. What most pleases you about Brit-Am?
The wealth of resources the vast information.
5. What (if anything) most irks you
about Brit-Am?
Again the website is poorly designed and needs to be completely
overhauled. There are way too many colors all over the place and are too ugly
to stare at for more than a brief glance. Trust me !!! This is not a subjective
personal issue. This is a well studied and documented aspect of design. There
are not only plenty of journals, articles and books (endless) on good design but
there are a plethora of examples of good web design online. I recommend that
you DO NOT hire your best friend or cousin who taught himself HTML and does
your work for free or a cheap rate ... instead go to a REPUTABLE DESIGN SCHOOL
and hire a faculty member or student of design with a proven track record. You
must REALLY understand that this website is VERY OUTDATED and truly UNACCEPTABLE
in this day and age.
Just because someone knows the alphabet does not make them a great
novelist. Please take my advice.
6. If you do not support Brit-Am
financially for reasons other than lack of means is there anything Brit-Am could
do to change this?
YES! Show me that you are serious about what you believe and
evangelize by making a respectable and beautiful presentation of the
information by BUILDING A BETTER WEBSITE.
Do you have any ideas as to how we
could increase our income that we need to function?
UPGRADE and incorporate your online technology. You not only have an ugly
and poorly designed website but you also have a SERIOUS DEFICIT of current and
broadly incorporated technologies SUCH AS .... FACEBOOK, TWITTER, FORUMS,
etc...
If you want people to view your site and share it with others then prove
that what you offer is not only worthy but also capable of facilitating what is
standard and FUNDAMENTAL today ... especially for what you ultimately desire
....
MORE PEOPLE = MORE MONEY !!!
7. Do you find the Brit-Am message
convincing?
If a bum in dirty stinking clothes approached me on the street and said to
me, "Hey, I have a wealth of information that will not only interest you but
will keep you coming back for more." I will pinch & hold my nose, look him up
and down, and say,
"Yeah, right." And I would sidestep him and move on never to return.
8. If you are not convinced by
everything Brit-Am says, what is the weakest point in the Brit-Am presentation?
The weakest part of any presentation is the presentation itself. Humans by
nature judge the proverbial book by its cover whether they mean to or not. If a
young man who has been shipwrecked for 20 years on an uncharted island suddenly
gets lucky and comes upon an opportunity to be saved and sees two boats passing
on separate sides of his little island ... one is an old tugboat 20 yards away
filled with fat, flabby old ladies with hoarse voices and halitosis ... and the
other is a 90 foot yacht filled with several twenty-something, beautiful and
voluptuous babes BUT it is 100 yards away ... Which do you think he will
choose?!!!
Also, another value to your presentation is peer-reviewed, substantiation
of your content. Give your content some substance by providing substantial
third party support from well respected academics in history, archaeology,
medical science, ETC...
Provide debates online either in print or video and provide a forum for
viewers to post their own opinions.
Provide a BLOG where you update your audience with DATED current events and
up coming events to satisfy expectations.
9. What do you consider the strongest
point of Brit-Am?
There seems to be some conviction but it needs to be substantiated by
presentation and delivery as mentioned above and below.
10. If you come back to the site more
than once what articles do you go to?
I am interested in all areas of biblical discourse so it is not possible to
tell you what my flavor of the day might be BUT what I can tell you is that if
I was able to EASILY SEARCH and NAVIGATE and FIND whatever interested me I
would more likely return more frequently and purchase items that I found
interesting. It is only COMMON SENSE.
11. Future Publications:
We have several projects in various stages of completion.
So what ! Maybe if it was posted in more detail I might care to
return to see what it might be.
Which of the following would you
most like to see:
A ha! Now we are starting to get somewhere.
A book of Commentary and
Explanation on one of the works of Prophecy; Isaiah; Jeremiah, etc ?
ALL THE ABOVE !!!
A work on ancient history and the
Ten Tribes, dolmens migrations, etc.?
ALL THE ABOVE !!!
New editions of The Tribes,
Ephraim, etc.?
ALL THE ABOVE !!!
Something else?
ALL THE ABOVE !!! There is no biblical topic that disinterests
me. Just keep it coming in an UPGRADED way.
12. Organization.
The Brit-Am organization as a social activity with regular meetings may be
soon re-activated in Israel, the USA, and elsewhere.
Would you be interested? Do you have any ideas on this matter?
I do believe I have made my case. I have given you a wealth
of information that you should be paying me for as a consultant.
Disseminating information in order to congregate as many people as
possible requires UPGRADING YOUR WEBSITE.
PS: I hope you did not take offense at my responses but I strongly feel that
you guys have terribly ignored what is right and good and makes your
organization very weak. If you embrace the fact that GOD is a God of Beauty and
Greatness and these aspects of GOD are evident in His Creation, then you MUST
acknowledge, despite our flawed and broken nature as human beings, that we are
created by GOD to inhabit His creation and we harbor the GOD-given attribute to
not only create but to also aspire to excellence. If what you are promoting is
truly a righteous endeavor then you owe it yourselves, your audience, and your
God to provide and present this information in the most excellent way with the
resources you have at hand.
These questionnaires are clearly evidence that you are not deaf to
constructive criticism and that you desire to be excellent and to share and
provide information of excellent standards. I hope that you find the ways and
means to incorporate these truths into your dreams and endeavors.
Peace,
Christian.
5. Ron Ferguson.

to improve?
You are doing a fine job now.

I can find out where the Ten lost Tribes are.
5. What (if anything) most irks you
about Brit-Am?
Nothing.

financially for reasons other than
lack of means is there anything Brit-Am could do to change this?
No, unless you will give me a Job.
7. Do you find the Brit-Am message
convincing?
YES.
9. What do you consider the
strongest point of Brit-Am?
The reports you give of where the lost ten tribes are.
10. If you come back to the site more
than once what articles do you go to?
I want to read everything.
11. Future Publications:
We have several projects in various stages of completion.
Which of the following would you most like to see:
Something else?
A work on ancient history and the Ten Tribes.
12. Organization.
The Brit-Am organization as a social activity with regular meetings
may be soon re-activated in Israel, the USA, and elsewhere.
Would you be interested?
I would be interested.
Ron.
6. Kylie
Niebling
Greetings
Yair,
Please find below my answers to your questionnaire. May my email find you safe
and well and please keep up the interesting information that you provide us with
from Brit-Am.
Kindest Regards,
Kylie Niebling.
Australia.
The
Questionaire.
1. How did you first hear about Brit-Am? I found Brit-Am whilst searching
the internet for geneology research for my family tree.
6. If you do not support Brit-Am
financially for reasons other than lack of means is there anything Brit-Am could
do to change this? Do you have any ideas as to how we could increase our income
that we need to function?
Maybe a subscriber fee for a nominal amount of $10 per quarter and only the
subscriber base receives membership entitlements - ie. sneek peek at new books
being released, special discounts for Brit-Am products, special offers for
businesses that Brit-Am supports online etc. But still maintaining the quality
of the current free membership base for those who are limited by their lack of
financial means.
7. Do you find the Brit-Am message
convincing? Yes; Brit-Am explains it's message clearly and with evidence
- which I like.
9. What do you consider the strongest
point of Brit-Am? Brit-Am is very good at keeping in touch with it's
members. I look forward to receiving your emails during the week and enjoy
reading them.
10. If you come back to the site more
than once what articles do you go to? Mainly historical articles
relating to geneology of the tribes - as I am researching my family tree.
11. Future Publications:
We have several projects in various
stages of completion.
Which of the following would you most like to see:
A work on ancient history and the Ten Tribes, dolmens migrations, etc.?
Yes, I would find this interesting.
New editions of The Tribes, Ephraim,
etc.? Yes, any new editions with latest info would be great.
Something else? Maybe something
about the times when King Zedekiah was taken into captivity and the tribes were
sent into exile. Who were the Exilarchs, their roles and where their
descendents went to. I am in the process of researching my family tree in this
area.
7. David Jackson.
The Questionnaire.
1. How did you first hear about Brit-Am?
Internet search
2. What aspects would you like Brit-Am
to improve?
If you could send emails using MS Word it seems like you could make them a
lot more colorful and readable. Sometimes it's hard to easily tell what
you've written versus what someone else has, but that has gotten better over
the years.
3. What subjects would you wish to see
Brit-Am emphasize more?
Have more commentary on biblical passages. Especially from Jewish sources
that most of us don't have access to.
4. What most pleases you about Brit-Am?
World view, biblical based view. Very enlightening and refreshing.
5. What (if anything) most irks you
about Brit-Am?
Nothing really, but sometimes you seem to answer people harshly when I don't
think the person was necessarily trying to be provocative or disrespectful.
7. Do you find the Brit-Am message
convincing?
Yes.
9. What do you consider the strongest
point of Brit-Am?
The totality of all points is very convincing. Jacob's prophecy concerning
the disposition of the 12 tribes mentioned near the end of Genesis seems to
require that the tribes exist as discernable, discrete groups somewhere in
the world, and to preclude the possibility that they simply vanished or were
absorbed into gentile populations or into Judah. For a variety of reasons,
the only groups that would seem to fit are northwestern European nations.
10. If you come back to the site more
than once what articles do you go to?
Multiple.
11. Future Publications:
We have several projects in various stages of completion.
Which of the following would you most like to see:
A book of Commentary and Explanation on one of the works of Prophecy;
Isaiah; Jeremiah, etc
Yes, I would buy this right away.
8. Mikko
Ojanen
(Finland).
The
Questionaire.
1. How did you first hear about Brit-Am?
did dna-test, started to look into migratory routes of tribes, somehow found
brit-am after Ossi Ikonen in Finland told in a sermon that finnish people belong
to israelite tribes.
2. What aspects would you like Brit-Am
to improve?
nothing too urgent comes to mind, only the layout of the web-page. So
much data, sometimes hard to find stuff you are looking for. But nevertheless,
site is organized well and is logical. So nothing big to complain about!
3. What subjects would you wish to see
Brit-Am emphasize more?
personally i would like to hear what the rabbis say. I would like to get as
"real" as possible with the subject, so ways how north and south israel could be
reconciled from the mouths of the rabbis, i would appreciate.
4. What most pleases you about Brit-Am?
You, Yair, your knowledge and attitude. You really are perfect host for
this, you have what it takes. You are calm headed and convincing.
5. What (if anything) most irks you
about Brit-Am?
Nothing.
6. If you do not support Brit-Am
financially for reasons other than lack of means is there anything Brit-Am could
do to change this?
No, i try to support Brit-Am. I often dream about buying you a New York Times
front page ad :). It is good for you to remind people that there is need for
funding. It is not annoying if you remind about it. Only if you attach too much
emotion to it (if you would be too "humble" about it), people would possibly get
irritated.
7. Do you find the Brit-Am message
convincing?
Yes, very much. The amount of data to support the ideas overwhelms any
other source, pro or contra.
8. If you are not convinced by
everything Brit-Am says, what is the weakest point in the Brit-Am presentation?
Maybe the sometimes amateurish looks (ie videos are not stylized and do not
feature 3d-animations etc :) but that could be a good thing too. But some people
have very little attention span.
9. What do you consider the strongest
point of Brit-Am?
Research and Yair's orthodox background.
10. If you come back to the site more
than once what articles do you go to?
News. The biggest thing i look for is the actual information how do i get
to land my feet on the soil of Israel.
11. Future Publications:
Everything about what the Bible says how things will proceed, prophecy
and rabbis opinions.
12. Organization.
I would be very much interested partaking meetings. This would require strict
discipline though, it could be that people would not know what to do or talk
about after couple of meetings and could disband.
Mikko, Finland.
9. David Bell (Australia).
The
Questionaire.
1. How did you first hear about Brit-Am?
Answer. From Arnold Kennedy, New Zealand, now deceased
7. Do you find the Brit-Am message
convincing?
Answer. I was convinced of it about 55 years ago.
9. What do you consider the strongest
point of Brit-Am?
Answer. Extensive support from scripture
11. Future Publications: We have several
projects in various stages of completion. Which of the following would you most
like to see: A book of Commentary and Explanation on one of the works of
Prophecy; Isaiah; Jeremiah, etc ?
Answer. Preferred.
Much blessings David.
