The Bible Predicts that the Ten Tribes will return. This fact is mentioned quite often. A few of the more explicit references to the in Scripture are discussed.

Isaiah 11:13, 27:13 49:18-20

Isaiah 11
12 He will set up a banner for the nations,
      And will assemble the outcasts of Israel,
      And gather together the dispersed of Judah
      From the four corners of the earth.
       13 Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart,
      And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off;
      Ephraim shall not envy Judah,
      And Judah shall not harass Ephraim.

Isaiah 27:
13 So it shall be in that day:
      The great trumpet will be blown;
      They will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria,
      And they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt,
      And shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Isaiah 49:
6 Indeed He says,
      ' It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant
      To raise up the tribes of Jacob,
      And to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
      I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles,
      That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.''


Jeremiah 3:18  31:17-20 50:4

Jeremiah 3:
18 'In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given as an inheritance to your fathers.

Jeremiah 31:
17 There is hope in your future, says the LORD,
      That your children shall come back to their own border.
       18 ' I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself:
      ' You have chastised me, and I was chastised,
      Like an untrained bull;
      Restore me, and I will return,
      For You are the LORD my God.
       19 Surely, after my turning, I repented;
      And after I was instructed, I struck myself on the thigh;
      I was ashamed, yes, even humiliated,
      Because I bore the reproach of my youth.'
       20 Is Ephraim My dear son'
      Is he a pleasant child'
      For though I spoke against him,
      I earnestly remember him still;
      Therefore My heart yearns for him;
      I will surely have mercy on him, says the LORD.

Jeremiah 50:
4 'In those days and in that time,' says the LORD,
      ' The children of Israel shall come,
      They and the children of Judah together;
      With continual weeping they shall come,
      And seek the LORD their God.


Ezekiel  16:53-55 37:15-28, 47:13

Ezekiel  16:
53 'When I bring back their captives, the captives of Sodom and her daughters, and the captives of Samaria and her daughters, then I will also bring back the captives of your captivity among them, 54 that you may bear your own shame and be disgraced by all that you did when you comforted them. 55 When your sisters, Sodom and her daughters, return to their former state, and Samaria and her daughters return to their former state, then you and your daughters will return to your former state.

Ezekiel  37:
15 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 16 'As for you, son of man, take a stick for yourself and write on it: 'For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.' Then take another stick and write on it, 'For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.' 17 Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand.
18 'And when the children of your people speak to you, saying, 'Will you not show us what you mean by these''' 19 say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: 'Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.'' 20 And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.
21 'Then say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: 'Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; 22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again. 23 They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will deliver them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
24 'David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them. 25 Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children's children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever. 26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore. 27 My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 28 The nations also will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.'''

Ezekiel  47:
13 Thus says the Lord GOD: 'These are the borders by which you shall divide the land as an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph shall have two portions.


Hosea 2:2-3,23

Hosea 2:
 1 Say to your brethren, 'My people,'
 And to your sisters, 'Mercy is shown.'

Hosea 2:
23 Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth,
      And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy;[
      Then I will say to those who were not My people,
      ' You are My people!'
      And they shall say, 'You are my God!''


Obadiah 1:18, 20

Obadiah 1:
18 The house of Jacob shall be a fire,
      And the house of Joseph a flame;
      But the house of Esau shall be stubble;
      They shall kindle them and devour them,
      And no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau,
      For the LORD has spoken.
 
Obadiah 1:    
       20 And the captives of this host of the children of Israel
      Shall possess the land of the Canaanites
      As far as Zarephath.


Zechariah 9:13,  10:10 (cf. Micah 7:14)

Zechariah 9:
13 For I have bent Judah, My bow,
      Fitted the bow with Ephraim,
      And raised up your sons, O Zion,
      Against your sons, O Greece,
      And made you like the sword of a mighty man.

Zechariah 10:
10 I will also bring them back from the land of Egypt,
      And gather them from Assyria.
      I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon,
      Until no more room is found for them.


Genesis 49:1
