This portion is VERY IMPORTANT from the point of view of Lost Ten Tribes Brit-Am
Identity Proof!
Just to remind you that this series is based on the weekly Torah reading of
Jewish Synagogues. Each weekly section has a traditional name derived from the
first or second word it begins with. This week's section is named "VeZot
HaBrocah" after the second word in Hebrew from the beginning: "VeZot HaBrocah"
means: "AND THIS IS THE BLESSING".
The commentary to this week's portion was first issued three years ago. We are
here adding a few points of interest some of which have come to light quite
recently.
This is the last portion of the Torah.
It will be read in the Land of Israel on Shemini Atseret which falls on the day
(this year it will be on Shabat) after Succoth. Outside of Israel it will be
read a day later, on Simchat Torah which this year falls on Sunday outside of
Israel whereas in the Land of Israel it is on the same days as Shemini Atzeret,
i.e.
In the Land of Israel Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah are one and the same
whereas outside of Israel they are on separate consecutive days.
After this portion we begin the cycle once again starting from Breishit which is
the first portion in the Book of Genesis.

[Deuteronomy 33:1] AND THIS IS THE
BLESSING, WHEREWITH MOSES THE MAN OF GOD BLESSED THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL BEFORE
HIS DEATH.
THE MAN OF GOD: Moses was the greatest prophet who ever existed or who ever will
be. God spoke to him (and to him alone) directly.

[Deuteronomy 33:2] AND HE SAID, THE LORD
CAME FROM SINAI, AND ROSE UP FROM
SEIR
UNTO THEM; HE SHINED FORTH FROM MOUNT
PARAN, AND
HE CAME WITH TEN THOUSANDS OF SAINTS: FROM HIS RIGHT HAND WENT A FIERY LAW FOR
THEM.
THE LORD CAME FROM SINAI. God revealed Himself on Mount Sinai to all the people.
This tradition proves itself. An individual can make a claim that he received
such and such a revelation and you may or may not believe him. If a whole
community numbering several million people have a tradition, then it must be
accepted since millions of people cannot invent such notions regarding all of
themselves. This reasoning (in a more refined style) is found in the writings of
Maimonides and others and was extensively expounded upon by Rabbi Yehudah HaLevi
(c.1075-1141 CE).
[Deuteronomy 33:3] YEA, HE LOVED THE
PEOPLE; ALL HIS SAINTS ARE IN THY HAND: AND THEY SAT DOWN AT THY FEET; EVERY ONE
SHALL RECEIVE OF THY WORDS.
[Deuteronomy 33:4] MOSES COMMANDED US A
LAW, EVEN THE INHERITANCE OF THE CONGREGATION OF JACOB.
INHERITANCE OF THE CONGREGATION OF JACOB: The Law is the inheritance of all
Israel. The Lost Ten Tribes are temporarily absolved from the law and on the
individual level are considered as Gentiles but in the future they will return,
receive affirmation of their Israelite identity, and re-accept the Law. This
will happen in the future and we can leave it like that. Judah at present is
not aware as to who the Lost Ten Tribes really are. They do not know the
identification of Joseph. The Lost Tribes for their part have inhibitions
(bordering sometimes on prejudicial disdain) against accepting teaching from
Judah. These reservations appear to extend beyond the question of their
Christian Messiah which in itself at present is an insurmountable obstacle to
close rapport.
Brit-Am the Ten Tribes Movement considers itself to some degree as
Representative of BOTH Judah and Joseph.
We need to remember that nobody has a monopoly on such representation and some
of the so-called "Ephraimites" should keep that in mind it as well.
[Deuteronomy 33:5] AND HE WAS KING IN
JESHURUN,
WHEN THE HEADS OF THE PEOPLE AND THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL WERE GATHERED TOGETHER.
JESHURUN is another name for Israel. We have mentioned the Phoenician
inscription linking the name Yeshurun with the Phoenicians of Tyre.
THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL: The concept of Tribes is very important in the Bible.
There follows a blessing to each of the individual Tribes. These blessings
reflect those given in Genesis 48.

[Deuteronomy 33:6] LET REUBEN LIVE, AND
NOT DIE; AND LET NOT HIS MEN BE FEW.
We identify Reuben with groups that settled primarily in France and greatly
influenced the French national character: passionate, unstable, cultured,
refined, sensitive, justice-seekers, daring, etc.
[Deuteronomy 33:7] AND THIS IS THE
BLESSING OF JUDAH: AND HE SAID, HEAR, LORD, THE VOICE OF JUDAH, AND BRING HIM
UNTO HIS PEOPLE: LET HIS HANDS BE SUFFICIENT FOR HIM; AND BE THOU AN HELP TO HIM
FROM HIS ENEMIES.
JUDAH represents the present-day Jews. Other tribes prominent amongst the Jews
include Simeon, Levi, and Benjamin all of which are considered in this study.
HEAR, LORD, THE VOICE OF JUDAH. The word "HEAR" in Hebrew "shema" which sounds
similar to Shime-on. According to tradition the expression "shema" here is
hinting at Simeon [in Hebrew "Shimea-on"] who is NOT mentioned expressly in the blessings of this
portion. Throughout the Bible a quorum of twelve tribes is maintained though
actually there were 13 tribes. The quorum is maintained by either subsuming
Simeon with Judah, or leaving out Levi who was scattered throughout the other
tribes, or counting Ephraim and Menasseh together as the one tribe of Joseph.
BRING HIM UNTO HIS PEOPLE: Judah needs to be reconciled with the Lost Ten
Tribes.
HIS ENEMIES: Judah has a lot of enemies and needs help from God.
LET HIS HANDS BE SUFFICIENT FOR HIM: When help from God is forthcoming Judah is
not somebody to mess around with.

[Deuteronomy 33:8] AND OF LEVI HE SAID,
LET THY THUMMIM
AND THY URIM
BE WITH THY HOLY ONE, WHOM THOU DIDST PROVE AT
MASSAH,
AND WITH WHOM THOU DIDST STRIVE AT THE WATERS OF
MERIBAH;
LEVI is primarily amongst the present-day Jews. Both Judah and Levi are
linked strongly with the Law and both are to be found mainly amongst the Jewish
people. Small offshoots of Levi were also to be found elsewhere, e.g. in
Northern Italy and according to many amongst the Welsh.
A section of the Tribe of Levi in popular Jewish Tradition were known as THE
SONS OF MOSES. These are associated with the Lost Ten Tribes. One Jewish
tradition located THE SONS OF MOSES as well as the Lost Tribes in the West, in
Gaul (France and the north) and the British Isles.

[Deuteronomy 33:9] WHO SAID
UNTO HIS FATHER AND TO HIS MOTHER, I HAVE NOT SEEN HIM; NEITHER DID HE
ACKNOWLEDGE HIS BRETHREN, NOR KNEW HIS OWN CHILDREN: FOR THEY HAVE OBSERVED THY
WORD, AND KEPT THY COVENANT.
A Jew who leaves the Jewish Religion in effect ceases to be Jewish.
People who missionize Jews are the enemies of the Jewish People even though they
claim otherwise and in some cases are genuinely mistaken.
[Deuteronomy 33:10] THEY SHALL TEACH
JACOB THY JUDGMENTS, AND ISRAEL THY LAW: THEY SHALL PUT INCENSE BEFORE THEE, AND
WHOLE BURNT SACRIFICE UPON THINE
ALTAR.
ISRAEL THY LAW: The LTTs (Lost Ten Tribes) at some stage will learn the
Law anew. Perhaps descendants of Levi will be prominent in the teaching that
this will involve.
[Deuteronomy 33:11] BLESS, LORD, HIS
SUBSTANCE, AND ACCEPT THE WORK OF HIS HANDS; SMITE THROUGH THE LOINS OF THEM
THAT RISE AGAINST HIM, AND OF THEM THAT HATE HIM, THAT THEY RISE NOT AGAIN.
SMITE THROUGH THE LOINS OF THEM THAT RISE AGAINST HIM: Levi and Judah are
prominent amongst the Jews and here we have a warning to those who would seek to
harm them to be careful. The Hasmonean Dynasty who lead the Maccabee Revolt
against Helenization were Cohens i.e. Priests from the Tribe of Levi.
[Deuteronomy 33:12] AND OF BENJAMIN HE
SAID, THE BELOVED OF THE LORD SHALL DWELL IN SAFETY BY HIM; AND THE LORD SHALL
COVER HIM ALL THE DAY LONG, AND HE SHALL DWELL BETWEEN HIS SHOULDERS.
BENJAMIN is also dominant amongst the present day Jews. The Jews of
Romania had a tradition that they were descended from Benjamin. We have traced
descendants of Benjamin to the Normans who conquered England in 1066 and to the
Belgae (Walloons) of Belgium. Present-day Belgium is comprised of
French-speaking Walloons and Flemish who speak a German-type dialect. Israelites
are present amongst both groups but in World War-2 it was the Walloons who were the most
opposed to German occupation. The Walloons descend from the ancient Celtic
Belgae. Belgae were also present in Britain and Ireland.
Many claim that Benjamin is also prominent in Norway. There is something in this
though Norway as a whole was dominated by Naphtali.
HE SHALL DWELL BETWEEN HIS SHOULDERS: This is referring to God who will dwell
(make HIS presence felt) in the Temple. Jerusalem was never formally divided
amongst the Tribes BUT if it had have been then the division between Benjamin
and Judah would have run through the Temple area. The most holy section of the
Temple would have been in the portion of Benjamin.

[Deuteronomy 33:13] AND OF JOSEPH HE
SAID, BLESSED OF THE LORD BE HIS LAND, FOR THE PRECIOUS THINGS OF HEAVEN, FOR
THE DEW, AND FOR THE DEEP THAT
COUCHETH BENEATH,
This says that Joseph was blessed with agricultural prosperity, healthy lands,
and mineral resources in plenty.
[Deuteronomy 33:14] AND FOR THE PRECIOUS
FRUITS BROUGHT FORTH BY THE SUN, AND FOR THE PRECIOUS THINGS PUT FORTH BY THE
MOON,
Some plants need a set number of hours of both daylight and darkness.
Certain plants require moonlight. The moon may well have more of an influence on
both plant and animal life than we realize at present.
Rabbi Yehudah HaLevi said (in another context) that the sun represents European
Christians and the moon stands for Islam. We could extend the allegory and
suggest that Joseph was to receive through trade and conquest the possessions of
both the European and Islamic worlds.
[Deuteronomy 33:15] AND FOR THE CHIEF
THINGS OF THE ANCIENT MOUNTAINS, AND FOR THE PRECIOUS THINGS OF THE LASTING
HILLS,
Food products and Mineral resources.
[Deuteronomy 33:16] AND FOR THE PRECIOUS
THINGS OF THE EARTH AND FULNESS
THEREOF, AND FOR THE GOOD WILL OF HIM THAT DWELT IN THE BUSH: LET THE BLESSING
COME UPON THE HEAD OF JOSEPH, AND UPON THE TOP OF THE HEAD OF HIM THAT WAS
SEPARATED FROM HIS BRETHREN.
PRECIOUS THINGS OF THE EARTH: Agricultural plenty.
SEPARATE FROM HIS BRETHREN.
In Hebrew the expression is "Nazir Echav".
The expression is repeated from the separate blessing of Jacob to Joseph in
Genesis 49:26 were it was said that Joseph would receive a blessing beyond that
which would accrue to the other Tribes who would also be blessed as descended
from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

This expression also means "Rule over his
brothers. There is a play on words here.
"Nazir" can mean both "separated from" e.g. we have the Nazir (Nazirite) who
separates himself from wine and impurity.
Nezer (from the same word root) can also mean crown e.g.
AND I TOOK THE CROWN [Hebrew: "nezer"] THAT WAS UPON HIS HEAD (2-Samuel 1:10).
It follows that the expression concerning Joseph "Nazir Echav" could alternately
mean "crowned over his brothers".
THAT WAS SEPARATED FROM HIS BRETHREN: Joseph was apart from his brothers.

Just a thought on the phrase that "Joseph shall be set apart from his
brothers." This has happened geographically in the modern world. The USA,
British Isles, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are all physically
separated by bodies of water from the other Israelite tribes on mainland
Europe or Scandinavia.
[Deuteronomy 33:17] HIS GLORY IS LIKE
THE FIRSTLING OF HIS BULLOCK, AND HIS HORNS ARE LIKE THE HORNS OF UNICORNS: WITH
THEM HE SHALL PUSH THE PEOPLE TOGETHER TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: AND THEY ARE
THE TEN THOUSANDS OF EPHRAIM, AND THEY ARE THE THOUSANDS OF MANASSEH.
BULLOCK or bull: John "Bull" is a nickname for Britain. England is named
after the Angles who were also known as "Aegloi".
In Ancient Northern Germanic dialects as well as in Ashkenazic Hebrew "Angle"
was another way of pronouncing "Aegel".
In Hebrew Aegel means bull-calf. Aegel is a nickname in the Bible for Ephraim,
cf. Jeremiah 31:18.
The name England (Angle-Land) may actually be considered to mean "The Land of
the Bull-Calf" i.e. the Land of Ephraim.
The unicorn was originally the symbol of Scotland. The Coat of arms of Scotland
bears two unicorns. When Scotland was unified with England the unicorn (together
with the lion) became a symbol of Britain.
The word for Unicorn in Hebrew is "raem". "Unicorn" really is a legitimate
translation of raem, though the word also connotes "auroch". An auroch was a
kind of gigantic wild bull that still existed in some parts of Europe until less
than 500 or so years ago.
In a past issue of our magazine "Brit-Am
Truth" there was a thorough and most interesting article about the unicorn.
A one-horned animal may well have once existed. It was recorded and
depicted by the Assyrians and looked a bit like a horse-type large goat or wild
deer. Interestingly enough its was known as a "Sacaea"
which was also a name given to the Scythians amongst whom we found a significant
proportion of Israelite Exiles from the Ten Tribes.
Only Britain has the unicorn as an official symbol. This alone is worth
considering. Nevertheless the unicorn in the British Arms is taken from Scotland
and intended to represent Scotland in which at one stage there were many from
Manasseh. The majority of "Anglos" (not counting the Irish) in the USA are from
Scotland or Scots-Irish. Most (more than 80%) US presidents are of Scot-Irish
ancestry. Even President Barak Hussein Obama has a mother of Scots-Irish origin!
The verse according to various Hebrew commentators may be read thusly:
[Deuteronomy 33:17] HIS GLORY IS LIKE THE FIRSTLING OF HIS BULLOCK,
He will received his glory from the firstling of his bull [Ephraim];
AND HIS HORNS ARE LIKE THE HORNS OF UNICORN
His (Manasseh) horns are immensely powerful like those of a Raem:
WITH THEM HE SHALL PUSH THE PEOPLE TOGETHER
With these horns he shall batter other peoples
TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH:
They (Ephraim and Manasseh) will be together until the ends (extreme points when
the Land of Israel is the center) of the earth
AND THEY ARE THE TEN THOUSANDS OF EPHRAIM, AND THEY ARE THE THOUSANDS OF
MANASSEH.
and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, that are multiplied a thousands times
over together with those of Manasseh.

In the above explanation I have taken the Hebrew verses and certain
principles of exegesis and applied them freely. These results still have to be
submitted to criticism and analyzed but they can be taken as a tentative
possibility, i.e. the verse could well be understood (as will be clarified) as
saying:
[Deuteronomy 33:17]
"He will received his glory from the
firstling of his bull which is Ephraim;
His horns (through Menasseh)
are immensely powerful like those of a
Raem
(Unicorn):
With these horns he shall batter other peoples. They (Ephraim and Manasseh) will
be together until the ends (extreme points when the Land of Israel is the
center) of the earth. And they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, that are
multiplied a thousands times over together with those of Manasseh.
Even if I am wrong on the above interpretation other sources corroborate the
general gist of the given message.
In the Last days a leader (Messiah), will arise from Joseph and is referred to
Mashia(c)h ben Yoseph. He will lead the Ten Tribes and is distinct from the
Mashia(c)h ben David who will come from Judah and eventually lead all Israel.
Mashia(c)h ben Yoseph is usually taken to be someone from Ephraim and a
descendant of Jeroboam the son of Nebat. Jeroboam caused the initial division
between Joseph and Judah and his descendant will heal it.
One source indicates that as well as the Mashia(c)h ben Yoseph from Ephraim
there will also arise an Annointed Leader from Manasseh as well as someone
representing Elijah who will emerge from Gilead probably meaning either Ulster
or the Bible Belt of the USA.

##... "GILEAD IS MINE, AND MANASSEH IS MINE; EPHRAIM ALSO IS THE STRENGTH OF
MINE HEAD; JUDAH IS MY LAWGIVER" [Psalms 60:7].
"GILEAD IS MINE", this is Eliyahu
who dwelt in Gilead. "MANASSEH IS MINE", this is the Messiah who comes from
the descendants of Manassah
as it says, ["GIVE EAR, O SHEPHERD OF ISRAEL, THOU THAT
LEADEST
JOSEPH LIKE A FLOCK; THOU THAT
DWELLEST BETWEEN THE
CHERUBIMS,
SHINE FORTH.] BEFORE EPHRAIM AND BENJAMIN AND MANASSEH STIR UP THY STRENGTH,
AND COME AND SAVE US [Psalms 80:1-2].
EPHRAIM ALSO IS THE STRENGTH OF MINE HEAD;" [Psalms 60:7]. This is the
Annoited
One [Messiah] for War who comes from Ephraim as it says, HIS GLORY IS LIKE THE
FIRSTLING OF HIS BULL[Deuteronomy 33:17].
JUDAH IS MY LAWGIVER" [Psalms 60:7]. This is the Final Deliverer (Redeemer) who
comes from the descendants of David.##

Reading this verse, Deuteronomy 33:17, where it speaks of the future blessing of
Joseph:
"His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the
horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of
the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands
of Manasseh."
It seems like it could be interpreted to mean that the "tens of thousands" of
Ephraim and the "thousands" of Manasseh refers to the numbers of people pushed
together, not the number of people in Ephraim and Manasseh, respectively. In
other words, is it saying that Ephraim will affect greater portions of the globe
and mankind than Manasseh? Is this reading possible in the original Hebrew?

Yes. The reading you suggest is possible
in the Hebrew. Not only that but some of the Rabbinic traditions interpret the
verse as you suggest.
This is how we interpreted the verse:

Nevertheless the Sages tend to interpret the verse along the same lines as you
(David Jackson) did:
For example, Midrash Yalkut Shimeoni says that an example of THE TEN THOUSANDS
OF EPHRAIM were the Canaanite Kings
wiped out by Joshua who came from Ephraim. [This is just one example I opened up
at random but all the Early Commentators seem to go along the same lines. A
brief search would probably come up with even more explicit examples].

legends (based on the Sages) also sums it up nicely:

This suggestion would solve the problem that we had with this verse in
the light of our identifying Ephraim primarily with Britain and Manasseh with
the USA.
The British Empire did indeed directly affect many more people than the USA has
done.
The British Empire also did reach to the ends of the earth.
Despite all the above (I repeat) our own somewhat convoluted explanation
may still have something to it:
What we said was:
Ephraim is Britain and daughters
Manasseh is the USA
The TEN THOUSANDS OF EPHRAIM versus THE THOUSANDS OF MANASSEH
somehow refers to relative population yet the USA has more people than
Britain and Company and in the Bible Manasseh was a more populous tribe than
Ephraim.
It may be that in fact the USA ALSO contains many from Ephraim (especially in
the South) though Manasseh is dominant. This way Ephraim as a whole could be
far more numerous than Manasseh and the Tribe of Manasseh could still be represented
through the USA.
I admit that,
Your explanation (and that of the sages) does offer a more simpler, acceptable,
and authoritative solution.
Still for the moment we will abide by our own understanding.

for international conferences, etc., efforts to make peace or humanitarian
arrangements. "SACRIFICES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS":
To Zebulon:
SUCKOF THE ABUNDANCE OF THE SEAS, fishing and sea- trading are important in the
Netherlands.
AND OF TREASURES HID IN THE SAND: diamonds in South Africa. The South African
whites are dominated by descendants of the Dutch. South Africa is the world's
foremost diamond producer. A diamond was the sacred stone of Zebulon.
[Deuteronomy 33:20] AND OF GAD HE SAID,
BLESSED BE HE THAT ENLARGETH
GAD: HE DWELLETH
AS A LION, AND TEARETH
THE ARM WITH THE CROWN OF THE HEAD.
We identify Gad with the Goths, Suiones, and others most of whom settled in
Sweden. The research we did on this subject was not deep but it is valid. Our
research conclusions have so far proved themselves in several fields. In some
areas we need to revise a few of the details we provided but in all major
matters our conclusions have so far justified themselves.
The lion is a symbol of Sweden.
[Deuteronomy 33:21] AND HE PROVIDED THE
FIRST PART FOR HIMSELF, BECAUSE THERE, IN A PORTION OF THE LAWGIVER, WAS HE
SEATED; AND HE CAME WITH THE HEADS OF THE PEOPLE, HE EXECUTED THE JUSTICE OF THE
LORD, AND HIS JUDGMENTS WITH ISRAEL.
Moses was buried in the portion of Gad. The blessing to Gad mentions this
and in the Latter Times it may be important.
We identify Gad primarily with Sweden which at present seems to have geared
itself to oppose Judah and the State of Israel.
Nevertheless things could change.
Will Sweden yet surprise us for the better?

[Deuteronomy 33:22] AND OF DAN HE SAID,
DAN IS A LION'S WHELP: HE SHALL LEAP FROM
BASHAN.
Dan we identified with some of the Irish, some Celtic groups, and with
the Danes of Denmark. The lion is also a symbol of Denmark. The Danes have a
tradition that they were descended from Dan of Israel and were brothers to the
Angles. BASHAN was also known as "Basilia" and this name was later applied to
Scandinavia.
Dan was also prominent amongst the Irish.
[Deuteronomy 33:23] AND OF
NAPHTALI
HE SAID, O NAPHTALI,
SATISFIED WITH FAVOUR,
AND FULL WITH THE BLESSING OF THE LORD: POSSESS THOU THE WEST AND THE SOUTH.
We identified Naphtali with Norway and with groups who settled in South Africa
and New Zealand. Even so, we need to do more reseach on this matter.
[Deuteronomy 33:24] AND OF ASHER HE
SAID, LET ASHER BE BLESSED WITH CHILDREN; LET HIM BE ACCEPTABLE TO HIS BRETHREN,
AND LET HIM DIP HIS FOOT IN OIL.
An American oil man took the above verse as referring to the northern
coast of Israel. He searched for offshore oil in this area. Some years ago he
claimed to have made discoveries but nothing seems to have been published.
Since then we have met Ephraimites who have gone on conducted tours in the north
of Israel of the oil discovery project under consideration.
Asher we identified with part of the Scottish and northern English. Asher was
also present in Scandinavia.
Asher is recalled in the "As" (plural "Aseir") ancestral heroes of Scandinavian
mythology. "DIP HIS FOOT IN OIL" perhaps refers to North Sea oil reserves shared
between Scotland and Norway.
[Deuteronomy 33:25] THY SHOES SHALL BE
IRON AND BRASS; AND AS THY DAYS, SO SHALL THY STRENGTH BE.
THY SHOES SHALL BE IRON AND BRASS also translatable as "iron and brass
will be your safe-guards" or closing statements i.e. what you bargain and trade
with.. This prophecy is applicable to the Lowland Scottish.
The Lowland Scottish in Britain and the Scots Irish in the USA were significant
contributors towards the shipbuilding, railway, and other industrial enterprises
based on the working of iron and brass.
The word translated as "bass" in Hebrew is nechoshet which literally means
"copper" but could also be applied to copper and zince alloys such as bronze.
[Deuteronomy 33:26] THERE IS NONE LIKE
UNTO THE GOD OF JESHURUN,
WHO RIDETH
UPON THE HEAVEN IN THY HELP, AND IN HIS EXCELLENCY ON THE SKY.

[Deuteronomy 33:27] THE ETERNAL GOD IS
THY REFUGE, AND UNDERNEATH ARE THE EVERLASTING ARMS: AND HE SHALL THRUST OUT THE
ENEMY FROM BEFORE THEE; AND SHALL SAY, DESTROY THEM.
AND SHALL SAY, DESTROY THEM. God prefers that we ourselves destroy the evildoers
and enemies of Israel. This requires courage and at times self-sacrifice. These
qualities are easy to admire from a distance. Every one of us is potentially a
hero or a coward and sometimes the boundary between these two concepts becomes
blurred. If you do the best you can, learn and pray, then God will guide you
when you need His guidance even if at the time you are not consciously aware of
Him.
[Deuteronomy 33:28] ISRAEL THEN SHALL
DWELL IN SAFETY ALONE: THE FOUNTAIN OF JACOB SHALL BE UPON A LAND OF CORN AND
WINE; ALSO HIS HEAVENS SHALL DROP DOWN DEW.
CORN AND WINE: agricultural bounty. The nations we have identified as
containing significant numbers of Israelites all dwell in areas that have
beneficial climates, invigorating environments, and fertile soils.
WAS THE US GREAT SEAL, EYE OF PROVIDENCE, PREDICTED BY JACOB AS A
SYMBOL OF ISRAEL?
##THE FOUNTAIN OF JACOB##: In Hebrew "Ayin Yaacob" which can also mean "the Eye
of Jacob" perhaps referring to the All-Seeing Eye of Providence depicted on the
US Great Seal?
[Deuteronomy 33:29] HAPPY ART THOU, O
ISRAEL: WHO IS LIKE UNTO THEE, O PEOPLE SAVED BY THE LORD, THE SHIELD OF THY
HELP, AND WHO IS THE SWORD OF THY EXCELLENCY! AND
THINE
ENEMIES SHALL BE FOUND LIARS UNTO THEE; AND THOU
SHALT
TREAD UPON THEIR HIGH PLACES.
#O PEOPLE SAVED BY THE LORD#: The Almighty is close to us, looks after us and
helps us. In return HE expects more from us!
##AND WHO IS THE SWORD OF THY EXCELLENCY## is also translatable as saying, AND
FOR WHOM THE SWORD IS OF THY EXCELLENCY, the source of your pride. One of the
signs of Israelite descent in our opinion is proven potential of military
prowess against overwhelming odds. This quality is not always evident but it is
there. Sometimes it is temporarily dormant. Other traits include those of
fraternity towards other Israelites, mercy, and justice.
SHALL BE FOUND LIARS UNTO THEE. Hebrew "Yicachashu" from the root "CaCHaSh".
This is a frequent expression in the Bible but a little difficult to explain.
Literally it means something like "deny": Your enemies will be so overwhelmed by
you that they will deny their enmity and force themselves to submit unto you.
AND THOU SHALT TREAD UPON THEIR HIGH PLACES: You will force them to behave
themselves. They will conduct themselves according to your will rather than
their own. Left to themselves they hate you and will work against you even if it
means harming themselves in the process. You will force them to adopt codes of
conduct that you consider they need to abide by.
The British in India stopped human sacrifices and many forms of abuse. They
liberated slaves throughout their Empire. They forced the heathen to recognize
Western Values. The French and Dutch did the same in their Empires. The USA
also has done much in this direction through its Coca-Cola Imperialism which is
actually on the whole positive and effective.
The expression Judeo-Christian values has been much disparaged lately. The fact
remains that it reflects Biblical Values. Only Anglo-Saxons use this expression
and only for them does it really have meaning.
In effect "Judeo-Christian" means "Israelite values"!
We believe in Israelite Values!
Like it or not we are Israelites.
Whether we ourselves like it or not, That is what we are!

[Deuteronomy 34:1] AND MOSES WENT UP
FROM THE PLAINS OF MOAB UNTO THE MOUNTAIN OF NEBO, TO THE TOP OF PISGAH, THAT IS
OVER AGAINST JERICHO. AND THE LORD
SHEWED
HIM ALL THE LAND OF GILEAD, UNTO DAN,
[Deuteronomy 34:2] AND ALL
NAPHTALI,
AND THE LAND OF EPHRAIM, AND MANASSEH, AND ALL THE LAND OF JUDAH, UNTO THE
UTMOST SEA,
[Deuteronomy 34:3] AND THE SOUTH, AND
THE PLAIN OF THE VALLEY OF JERICHO, THE CITY OF PALM TREES, UNTO
ZOAR.
He was shown the whole land, not just part of it, was promised to the
Children of Israel and they have a Divine Imperative to conquer it.
[Deuteronomy 34:4] AND THE LORD SAID
UNTO HIM, THIS IS THE LAND WHICH I
SWARE
UNTO ABRAHAM, UNTO ISAAC, AND UNTO JACOB, SAYING, I WILL GIVE IT UNTO THY SEED:
I HAVE CAUSED THEE TO SEE IT WITH
THINE
EYES, BUT THOU SHALT
NOT GO OVER THITHER.
[Deuteronomy 34:5] SO MOSES THE SERVANT
OF THE LORD DIED THERE IN THE LAND OF MOAB, ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF THE LORD.
[Deuteronomy 34:6] AND HE BURIED HIM IN
A VALLEY IN THE LAND OF MOAB, OVER AGAINST
BETHPEOR:
BUT NO MAN KNOWETH
OF HIS SEPULCHRE
UNTO THIS DAY.
[Deuteronomy 34:7] AND MOSES WAS AN HUNDRED AND TWENTY YEARS OLD WHEN HE DIED:
HIS EYE WAS NOT DIM, NOR HIS NATURAL FORCE ABATED.
He was as vigorous as an athletic young man all the days of his life. This is a
rare phenomenon but it does occur.
[Deuteronomy 34:8] AND THE CHILDREN OF
ISRAEL WEPT FOR MOSES IN THE PLAINS OF MOAB THIRTY DAYS: SO THE DAYS OF WEEPING
AND MOURNING FOR MOSES WERE ENDED.
[Deuteronomy 34:9] AND JOSHUA THE SON OF
NUN WAS FULL OF THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM; FOR MOSES HAD LAID HIS HANDS UPON HIM: AND
THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL HEARKENED UNTO HIM, AND DID AS THE LORD COMMANDED MOSES.
[Deuteronomy 34:10] AND THERE AROSE NOT
A PROPHET SINCE IN ISRAEL LIKE UNTO MOSES, WHOM THE LORD KNEW FACE TO FACE,
THERE AROSE NOT A PROPHET SINCE IN ISRAEL LIKE UNTO MOSES: There was
never a greater prophet than Moses. Only Moses received a direct revelation
"face to face". All other prophets received indirect inspiration.
[Deuteronomy 34:11] IN ALL THE SIGNS AND
THE WONDERS, WHICH THE LORD SENT HIM TO DO IN THE LAND OF EGYPT TO PHARAOH, AND
TO ALL HIS SERVANTS, AND TO ALL HIS LAND,
[Deuteronomy 34:12] AND IN ALL THAT
MIGHTY HAND, AND IN ALL THE GREAT TERROR WHICH MOSES
SHEWED
IN THE SIGHT OF ALL ISRAEL.
##MOSES SHEWED IN THE SIGHT OF ALL ISRAEL## All of Israel saw the
signs and wonders that Moses performed and all of Israel obligated itself to
follow Moses for all time.
