Chagai
Segal: Settler violence miniscule compared to Palestinian violence
Dr. Aaron Lerner Date: 5 October 2008
Translation:
"The incidents of settler violence towards Palestinians are nothing compared
to the many thousands of incidents in the reverse direction. In the last
(Jewish calendar) year, a relatively quiet year, eight settlers were
murdered by Palestinians. Some 6,000 fruit bearing trees were uprooted this
past summer in one night in a Jewish orchard in Binyamin, twice the number
of olive trees that the Palestinians claim were uprooted in the last three
years, but the Leftist propaganda machine succeeded that only the few
incidents in which some annoyed Jews followed suite are engraved in the
public's awareness..All the descriptions of police ignoring settler crime is
demagoguery meant to strengthen the image of Judea and Samaria as a lawless
place. Yes, the police don't always capture the criminals, but in Gush Dan
(AL: Tel Aviv metropolis) the police also barely catch anyone.

Akko
(near Haifa, a mixed Jewish-Arab city)

Akko Riots: Police ordered on heightened alert
Police commissioner orders force to go on highest state of alert following Akko
riots which left eight people injured; 700 officers deploy in northern city,
Jerusalem Police to boost presence in Old City, Temple Mount. Department to
increase deployment in mixed cities
Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen met with the Northern Police District commanders
on Friday for a security assessment, following Thursday's riots in Akko.
Commissioner Cohen ordered the force to go on its highest state of alert for the
weekend, ordering mass deployment of troops in all police sectors across Israel.
Following the security assessment, Jerusalem District Police Commander,
Major-General Aharon Franco, ordered to increase police and border guard
presence in the Old City, around the Temple Mount, in East Jerusalem and in
nearby villages in order to prevent disturbances to the peace.
"The police will be decisive in their resolve to prevent disruptions to the
public order on Friday, following prayers," said senior police officials.
The Police are to boost presence in other major cities in which Jewish and Arab
communities live together, with mass forces deploying across Haifa, Jaffa, Ramla,
Lod and Wadi Ara.
On Thursday night Cohen ordered 700 police officers to deploy throughout the
northern city, amid rioting that followed fierce clashes between Jews and Arab
on Yom Kippur.
Police forces struggled to contain the masses, and stone throwing incidents were
reported even after relative calm prevailed in the city. Six people who were
lightly injured during the riots were evacuated to a hospital in Nahariya,
including a 40-yerr-old man who was trampled by a horse and a 20-year-old man
who was hit in the head with a rock. About 10 demonstrators were detained.
The Magen David Adom emergency services reported that the demonstrators
punctured the tire of one of the ambulances at the scene.
"All eyes are on Akko, and it is very important to see an appeal for complete
calm emerging from the city," Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen said. Police have
boosted their presence in the city for fear of a resumption of the violence over
the weekend.
During the evening police dispersed a crowd of Jewish demonstrators near the "Eshkol"
school. The demonstrators hurled stones at a number of vehicles and homes
belonging to Arabs. Police also evacuated a number of Palestinian collaborators
from the city after they too were attacked with stones.
Police and Border Guard forces that were dispatched to the city were equipped
with crowd-dispersing apparatus, including water hoses and stun grenades.
Wednesday's violence erupted after an Arab motorist entered a predominantly
Jewish neighborhood on the holiest of Jewish days.
The incident quickly developed into a mass riot involving hundreds of people,
during which dozens of cars and some 30 shops were vandalized. Three people,
including the Arab motorist and a police officer, sustained light injuries.
The clashes between Arabs and Jews resumed Thursday evening, after Yom Kippur
ended, as hundreds of Jews and Arabs demonstrated and confronted police near the
train station in eastern Akko and near the city's northern housing projects.
After meeting with Akko Mayor Shimon Lankry and representatives of the local
Arab and Jewish communities, Police chief Cohen said "The incident that took
place here on Yom Kippur was severe, and Akko's Jewish and Arab leaders will
draw the necessary lessons from it, as will police.
"As of right now, there are gatherings of Jews and Arabs in two separate sites,"
he said. "It is important for me to stress that the incident is a local one;
this is a city in which Jews and Arabs have lived side by side for hundreds of
years, and I urge them to continue with true dialogue among the leaders to
restore the peace."

Extracts:
(IsraelNN.com) Knesset Members Prof. Aryeh Eldad (National Union) and Yuval
Steinitz (Likud) charged Akko Arabs with carrying out a pogrom against Jews,
smashing dozens of stores and vehicles. Arab MK Ahmed Tibi in return charged the
Jews with a pogrom, but Jewish testimony shows the Arab driver who set off the
riots lied in his claim that he respected the Jewish holy day.
"The State of Israel has become the only country in the Western world where
pogroms are carried out against Jews, with physical harm to them and their
property and chants of 'death to Jews,'" declared MK Steinitz. MK Eldad said,
"One should not be surprised if Jews take up arms to defend themselves while the
police do nothing to protect them."
MK Tibi charged that the police discriminated against the Arabs. Arab MK
Mohammed Barakeh stated that the alleged attack by Jews was "similar to the
pogroms that Jews were exposed to at the hands of the Nazi gangs in Germany."
Both Jewish and Arab MKs called for an investigation of the police response,
which its commanders deemed proper despite charges that the force, manned by
Arabs on the Yom Kippur holiday, was slow to respond.
Eyewitness Testimony
Eyewitness testimony and police totally contradicted a claim by Arab driver
Taufik Jamal, who sparked the riot after he drove into a predominantly Jewish
neighborhood where Jews were milling in the empty streets.
Jamal claimed he arrived to pick up his daughter who was helping relatives
prepare for an upcoming wedding. He claimed he drove slowly out of respect for
the Yom Kippur holiday and that his radio was turned off but that Jews stoned
them when he and his passengers left the car.
However, police said that Jamal broke through a checkpoint. Eyewitnesses said
that Jamal drove his vehicle at high speed with the radio blaring and made a
U-turn at a traffic circle before parking the car. Jews began stoning the car,
and Jamal and the passengers allegedly ran into a nearby Arab apartment block of
Arabs, who began a massive attack on the Jews below.
Four cars driven by Arab drivers arrived and began trying to run down Jews,
according to the eyewitnesses. A busload of Arabs then arrived and yelled
"murder the Jews" while attacking scores of stores and cars, smashing windows
and uprooting trees.

World Likud leader Danny Danon said that Israeli Arab leaders have been inciting
their followers against the Jewish community for years.
3. Preventing Abortions in Israel
http://samsonblinded.org/efrat/
There are close to 50,000 abortions in Israel every year
Many of these abortions could be prevented, if only the woman was provided some
basic social and financial support.
Last year alone, Efrat saved the lives of 3,027 Jewish children in Israel.
Last Year in an average week in Israel:
09 people were killed in road accidents.
1 Israeli soldier was murdered
500 Babies were lost to abortion.
Mainly due to economic concerns.

5. Is Sarah
Palin
Jewish?
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_Sarah_Palin_Jewish
Yes, based on Jewish tradition that makes one "Jewish" if born to a mother of
Jewish ethnic decent, although touting at least a mask of evangelical
christianity. IsraelNews.com was most upset about her relationship with Jews for
Jesus, see
http://www.israelenews.com/view.asp?ID=3005 .
Sarah Palins mother (Sally Sheigam) was of Lithuanian Jewish heritage and so
were both of her mothers parents (Louise Sheigam and Shmuel Sheigam). Her father
Chuck Heath can also be considered of Jewish blood because his mother, Beatrice
Coleman, was of Jewish decent. Further information on Governor Palin's ancestors
can easily be found in the vital records in the Lithuanian State Historical
Archives in Vilnius.
http://www.archyvai.lt/ The Archives holds birth, marriage, divorce, and
death records for the Lithuanian Jewish community from 1851 until 1915 when the
Jews were required to leave the country because of World War I. They are in 18th
Century Cyrillic script and Yiddish Many of these records include the mother's
maiden name and town of registration.
Although she states that she was not a supporter of Pat Buchanan's presidential
bid in 2000, Pat Buchanan has claimed that Palin did support him, and ABC News
captured video of her welcoming Mr Buchanan to Alaska while wearing a Buchanan
pin. Buchanan, a very conservative Catholic, is not popular among most Jewish
voters due to his far right-wing views on the relationship between church and
state, his occasional positive statements on the Nazi movement, and his lack of
support for Israel (usually based upon principle, not clear anti-semitism).
Some, including the McCain campain, claim that in 2000 Palin supported Steve
Forbes.
Palin has three flags in her office: the flag of Alaska, the flag of the United
States, and the flag of Israel. Two of Palin's prominent Alaska Jewish allies,
Rabbi Joseph Greenberg and businessman Terry Gorlick, told Politico they
consider her a friend of the Jews...see
http://www.israelenews.com/view.asp?ID=3005
In addition, when she ran for governor, the
Republican Jewish Coalition Executive Director Matt Brooks issued the following
statement today: "By choosing Governor Sarah Palin as the vice-presidential
candidate, John McCain once again demonstrates good judgment and a commitment to
challenging politics-as-usual. As governor of Alaska, Palin has enjoyed a strong
working relationship with Alaska's Jewish community.

6. Is
Ahmadinejad,
President of Iran, a New Age Worshipper of the Devil?
In the late 1800s, early 1900s, there was movement in Britain and Ireland
of people who openly
worshipped the Devil. From this movement and related trends emerged the New Age
doctrine.
The movement had parallels in Europe where it gave rise to the Nazi Party and
related phenomenon.
New Age doctrine is in fact pro-Nazi. The British Devil-worshippers were also in
favor of Hitler and of treason to
Britain.
We in Brit-Am are strongly against Conspiracy Theories but we have remarked on
occasion that there seems to be
some kind of "conspiracy" behind them.
They are not just the ranting ravings of deluded fools but often reflect the
agenda of
a sinister influence working against the Jews and against the West.
It is not for nothing that Ahmadinejad and the Palestinians put so much emphasis
on Holocaust denial.
See:
http://www.irancartoon.com/120/holocaust/
The ideological forces that gave rise to the Holocaust also support the rabid Islam Freaks.
An examination (by "Hannah" ) of terminology used by Ahmadinejad in his speeech
to the UN shoes a familiarity not with Classical Islamic
terminology (such as used by Khaddafi of Libya) but rather with that of the New
Age Movement in Europe!

7. Ultra-Orthodox wig shop unveils
'Sarah Palin
Wig' based on Alaska governor's famous locks
By Nathan Burstein, The Forward
http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1028261.html
Extracts:
America's most controversial hockey mom has inspired a new item
made for religious women that probably isn't sold up there in Alaska, gosh darn
it!
The 'Sarah Palin Wig,' based on the hairstyle of the Last Frontier State
governor and GOP vice presidential candidate, is the latest head covering to go
on sale at Sheitel.com, a Brooklyn wig shop and Web site for Orthodox Jewish
women who maintain modesty by concealing their natural hair.
"One of our stylists thought it would make a good style, so we produced it,?
said Boruch Shlanger, one of Sheitel.com's owners, in an e-mail to The Shmooze.
"It is very easy to maintain, and is a very classic look, yet fashion forward!"
The new Palin wig isn't necessarily pandering to customers' political leanings,
Shlanger noted. "We are only inspired by fashion issues," he wrote. "We believe
that good fashion taste trumps all politics."
