1. David
Tempelhoff:
Gov Palin
is a Reasonable Alternative.
From: David Tempelhoff <david.tempelhoff@gmail.com>
Hello Yair and friends,
Thankyou for the comments on Gov Palin.
Mr. Grey is right to quote Isiah 3 vs 12. in the case of Gov Palin.
However, These are challenging times.( Even the context of Isiah 3vs12
states this time of unrest and confusion)
That being said:
I will take a Righteous women over a Muslim ( Obama) that has a
Socialist Anti-American Agenda, who has offered an olive branch to
countries like Iran.
This recent election is a joke. Foreign funds accepted. Terrorist and
extremist ties. Missing birth certificates. The media has given Obama
a pass. That should raise some question marks.
Obama wouldnt even be able to get a mid level government job with the
US Dept Justice, FBI, or CIA.
Yet he is a step away from the Presidency.
The only reason the Market is doing what it is is because some very
powerful people are creating the conditions to take the focus of
Defense, war, Iraq, which is President Bush and Mc Cains strong point
and make money the issue to drive them toward Obama.
Obama is playing on greed and Peoples fear of losing financial security.
The economy will straighten out in time.
Palin may be a women but she has more back bone than most men. We are
living in an age of weak spineless men. When men shrink from there G-d
given roles as Priests, Kings and Rulers of their homes 'the women
step up'. And thats whats happening.
G-d used Deborah as a Judge when there wasnt a man available.
Queen Elizabeth I was put in place when the Spanish Armada was a
Englands doorstep.
Golda Meyer did a fine job.
G-d allowed inheritance to women in the Old Testament.
There were female Prophetesses.
Normally I would not be in favor of a women in a leadership role. I am
Old fashioned and believe Torah when it comes to the role of the man.
Do not mistake my vote for her as liberalism.
I think she will do a fine job while some righteous tough men are risen up.
Ted Nugent made some comments the other day about being sick and tired
of young American men coming up to him for autographs looking like a
bunch of scruffy, overweight, weak gripped, soft spoken wimps. He is
right.
Instead of a 30-30 Winchester its X-Box.
Instead of a good spanking from your Father its Ridilin from the Shrink.
What a joke no wonder this place is falling apart.
As for the 2 state option:
Gov Palin is learning and towing the line. I know if she was presented
the truth she would accept it and tell the so called academics to take
there fancy ideas and stuff them you know where.
She has assisted her husband for 20 years fish for Salmon in Bristol
Bay ( mouth of the Bering Sea) I have fished those waters they are no
joke. No book smarts can prep you for that job. Common Sense and Gut
Instinct keep things running safely and prosperously.
Thats what she will bring to the table in a much needed troublesome
time about to hit the earth.
Out,
Dave
2. Jewish
Aliyah
from South Africa Expected to Double in 2008
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/128088
by Gil Ronen
(IsraelNN.com) After leveling off for several years, Jewish emigration from
South Africa is on the rise. According to JTA, while no exact figures are
available, the Israel Center at the South African Zionist Federation predicts
the total number of olim (immigrants) from South Africa, which reached 178 in
2007,will double or even triple in 2008, possibly reaching 450 or more.
The first group flight of olim from South Africa in recent memory arrived on
July 21, with 86 olim on board. According to Sidney Shapiro, the Director of the
South African Zionist Federation in Israel, there has been a marked increase in
the number of young olim.
Affirmative action: a problem
"In previous years the number of 18 to 25 year olds was insignificant whereas
this year saw a large increase in the number of young people coming to study,
which is an important change in trend of Aliyah [immigration]," Shapiro said. He
estimated that this trend could be the result of the effect of "affirmative
action" programs in South Africa. "Recent white graduates find difficulty in
finding employment and there is also talk of the standard of higher education
dropping, although some people dispute this vehemently," he said. "In Israel,
students who make Aliyah are offered incentives from the government."
Shapiro also cited another new trend: "Whereas in last five years we've seen a
large proportion of religious people among the olim, not more than 45 percent of
this year's immigrants are religious. I am saying this as a positive thing: it
means that secular families also making Aliyah."
Politics provide the push
South African politics are another Aliyah motivator: with the election of the
controversial Jacob Zuma as president of the African National Congress at the
end of last year and the forced resignation of President Thabo Mbeki, many young
Jews want out.
"South African Jews constitute one of the best Zionist communities in the world
today."
Ofer Dahan, the South African Zionist Federation's director and the Aliyah
emissary, said the wave of emigration comprised both "pull" factors ? Zionist
ideology and strong opportunities ? and "push" factors.
"The 'push' is brought about by South Africans who fear for the future of this
country," Dahan said. "There are some olim who have given this reason."
"We have another flight of 100 people ? this time families ? scheduled for
December and a waiting list for a third flight next year," he said, adding that
"South African Jews constitute one of the best Zionist communities in the world
today."
Emigration destinations
From a peak of 120,000 in the 1970s, the South African Jewish population has
declined to approximately 75,000 today, with more than 50,000 in Johannesburg
and 16,000 in Cape Town. Since 2000, nearly half of the Jewish ?igr? have gone
to Australia, followed by the United States (18 percent), Israel (12 percent)
and Canada (9 percent).
On a local South African Jewish e-mail exchange, advertisements for the sale of
furniture and household goods of those emigrating have escalated since talk of
Zuma coming to power.
But the large Chasidic community in South Africa is staying put.
"We've seen multiple potentially explosive situations which have been
miraculously solved in a peaceful way through democracy taking its course," said
Rabbi Shabsy Chaiton, administrator of the Lubavitch-run Torah Academy.
3. Did Barak Hussein Obama Receive a Bribe on Behalf of Sadam Husein??
http://www.danielpipes.org/article/5996
Brit-Am Summary of Alleged Bribe by Sadam:
Antoin S. "Tony" Rezko is a Catholic born in Syria who moved to the USA. He works together with
Nadhmi Auchi who is also a Catholic but born in Iraq and who migrated to the UK.
Auchi is a multi-millionaire whereas Rezko is in debt for millions. Sadam Hussein (then dictator of Iraq)
used Auchi who in turn passed funds to Rezko. Rezko raised money for Obama to get in the Senate.
In May-June 2005 Obama bought a mansion for which he paid less than it was worth.
Rezko allegedly absorbed the difference. The money came from Auchi and Auchi at the time was an unofficial representative of Sadam.
