Spirit of Zionism is still Strong Among 'Russians'. A new survey conducted by
Israel Democracy Institute reveals that a whopping 77 percent of immigrants from
the Former Soviet Union (FSU) support the transfer of Arabs out of the Jewish
State, compared with 47 percent of veteran Israelis. (And a true assessment of
the reality helps to keep the right prospective.)
2. 70% of Americans See Israel as Ally http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/132874 by Gil Ronen

(IsraelNN.com) Despite President Barack Obama's overtures to the Arab world and
his perceived coldness to the Jewish state, a full 70 percent of Americans say
Israel is a U.S. ally in a new poll by Rasmussen Reports. Eight percent see it
as an enemy and 16 percent see it as something in between.
The survey's authors say: "Of course, none of the Islamic countries comes close
to the positive feelings most adults here have toward Israel."
Egypt, the most highly regarded Islamic country, still does much worse than
Israel: thirty-nine percent see it as an ally, while nine percent say it is an
enemy and 42 percent say it falls somewhere in between. This means that most
Americans see Egypt as either an enemy or something between an enemy and a
friend.
Saudi Arabia is the second most favored Arab country, but 25 percent still see
it as an enemy. Twenty-three percent see it as an ally, and 46 percent as
somewhere in between.
Eighty-one percent of American adults believe Palestinian leaders must recognize
Israel?s right to exist as part of any Middle Eastern peace agreement.
The report's authors explain that America's close ties to Israel are undoubtedly
explained in part by the sharp contrast between the views Americans have of the
Islamic countries in the region and how they feel about the Jewish state.
A dampening of optimism
Twenty-one percent say their country's relationship with the Muslim world will
be better a year from now. Twenty five percent believe that the relationship
will get worse and 44 percent estimate that it will be roughly the same a year
from now.
At the beginning of June, just before Obama gave a speech to the "Muslim world"
in Egypt, 28 percent of voters said the U.S.'s relationship with the Muslim
world would be better a year hence. Twenty-one percent predicted the
relationship would be worse, and 45 percent thought it would stay the same.
In other words, the months that have passed have seen a dampening of American's
optimism regarding relations with the Muslim world.
Seventy percent of Americans say Iran is an enemy of the United States. When
they are asked which country poses the greatest security threat to the United
States, the top position "routinely seesaws between Iran and North Korea," the
report's summary says. 3. The Arab Slave Trade

The Arab Slave Trade
by sheikyermami on August 13, 2009 Extracts: The Arabs have been enslaving Africans since prehistoric times,
and the slave trade in Saudi Arabia was not abolished until the 1960s. An
underground traffic in slaves continues to this day, particularly in Mauritania
and other countries in western and northern Africa.
The Arabs were the primary suppliers of slaves, the wholesalers, if you will
for European-owned ships that made the Middle Passage. The Arabs had
long-established raiding-and-trading routes in Africa that no European could
hope to match, so they continued to dominate the market.
The Indian Ocean Slave trade evolved around the Indian Ocean basin. Slaves were
taken from mainland East Africa and sold in markets in the Arabian Peninsula and
the Persian Gulf. In contrast to the trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, the Indian
Ocean Slave Trade was much older dating back from at least the second century
C.E. until the early twentieth century. For example, the oldest written document
from the East Africa Coast, the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea, describes a
small trade in slaves around the second century C.E.
The idea that Muslims, particularly Arabs, are somehow friends and comrades in
suffering with American blacks is the Big Lie of the 21st century.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The truth is that Muslims have been slaughtering and enslaving black Africans
for more than a millennium.
The truth is that black African Muslims have the lowest status of any group in
Islam, and are held in special contempt by Arabs.
What has always amazed me is the fact that though slavery did indeed exist here
[i.e. in the USA], there was no castration of Africans imported to this country.
Families were often cruelly torn apart at the whim and economics of
slave-holders, but there were exceptions to that.
Where do you see a thousand years of African blood in Arab countries? You don't.
The men were often killed and boys were castrated. Many of them died as a
result. The women were used and discarded. They disappeared and another
generation, fresh from Africa, replaced them as though they had never been.
Yet here in the US it is hard to find a black person who has *no* white blood.
Perhaps the lately-arrived Haitians are a current exception?
The tensions between whites and blacks are very old, but they can be transcended
and frequently are.
The word for black in Arabic is the same as the word for slave.
How many black Africans are slaves in Khartoum [Sudan]?
We seldom hear about this genocide against black Africans. When it did hit the
headlines , it was always portrayed as a civil war.
