Mr. Davidiy Shalom, I have just read the article from Ms. Johnson concerning the Khazars and I think she means well but badly misinformed. I have read the book The Thirteenth Tribe and it didn't answer any questions as to where the Khazars came from and I think the author of this book was misinformed also because there is no documentation concerning the origin of the Khazars written in it that is to my satisfaction. As for the problems we are having here in the USA we have no one to blame but ourselves because we as a nation have turned from [the ALMIGHTY] and His Torah. I have blonde hair and grey blue eyes and some of my family have red hair and green eyes but now that I have gotten older there is a lot of silver mixed with the blonde. I have four of your books and I have ordered two more and they are well documented from the Bible and secular history and you are considered one of the worlds foremost scholars on the subject of the Tribes by those in the know. I don't have your book on the Khazars but I am going to order a copy as soon as funds permit and I humbly suggest we read it before making any judgments.

I have been reading the commentaries and the news reports regarding the sightings in Gaza of a woman who identified herself as Rachel.
May I make two simple observations.
Firstly, our mother Rachel has been dead, sleeping in the dust, for many many centuries.
Secondly, the warnings this "Rachel" (if that is her name) gave to save the lives of the boys in the IDF were all in Arabic, not Hebrew or English etc.
Our mother Rachel spoke Hebrew, and one would have expected her to speak in ther mother tongue to the boys.
I do not know what can be made further about this matter but it is also very relevant to the Restoration of All Yisrael, as out mother would be mourning for her missing sons and daughters if she were alive.
The fact that scripture refers to Rachel as crying for her children to return is very interesting.
If you have any insight on the matter I would be much obliged Yair.

In regards to those seeking aid, protection, and answered prayers from "Rachel", the scriptures are very clear about seeking help from familiar spirits.
The LAW:
Lev 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
Lev 20:27 A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones:
their blood shall be upon them.
Deu 18:10-12
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
1Sa 28:3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land. (or so he thought)
THE CONSEQUENCES:
I Samuel 28 is about King Saul, who seeing the Philistines round about (like now?), became fearful.
He consulted YHWH God who did not answer him within Saul's appointed timeframe, so Saul disguised himself and consulted a woman with familiar spirits to seek advice from the prophet Samuel who had was dead and buried.
1Sa 28:7 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.
1Sa 28:16-19 (after the woman with a familiar spirit had called up Samuel ...)
16 Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?
17 And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David:
18 Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day.
19 Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.
... and tomorrow Saul and Jonathan were both dead
(though I certainly have never understand about Jonathan whose heart was right and who also was put in the awkward place to also honor both his friend AND his father who was way out of order???).
It is a serious thing to NOT know the LAW, and it is even more serious to disobey it.
It you, we, our soldiers, our countries ... need help and protection, we best cry out to YHWH God and leave the familiar spirits and the Mary, Rachel worship to the heathens ... unless we want to be turned over to those very heathens.
[The ALMIGHTY] God said we would be the head and not the tail IF ... IF ... IF we obeyed Him. So ... where have we gone astray and to where and to whom should we return? To Rachel? To Mary? I think not.
Sincerely ... Oh, by the way, anyone who gets upset at you for asking for monetary support, must not watch television. On my television there is about 6-8 minutes of commercials and 8 minutes of movie, then 6-8 minutes of commercials ... almost equal. Keep asking! It concerns the possibility of a Philistine outpost in Northern Syria in Biblical Times.
It also ties in with Brit-Am findings concerning an offshoot of the Tribe of Dan also being in that area.

If (big IF!) such an idea becomes established, NC would have to accept that the Peleset came from Cyprus in the 20th Dyn, invaded both SW and NW Levant, and the name was used retrospectively by biblical editors to cover earlier peoples of SW Canaan whom the Peleset conquered and merged with.

You apparently read a Conspiracy Quack site that quoted from Arthur Koestler, "The Thirteenth Tribe", and have confused what the site said with what Koestler says.
I also read most of "The Thirteenth Tribe" (several times) and do not remember references to the Rothschild family or to what "Jewish spiritual leaders today " say.
I do not see any relevance to the Khazars BUT I know that Conspiracy Quacks do.
The more acquainted we get with Conspiracy Quacks the less we like them.
The Rothschild family was or is an important family of bankers with several branches.
In the early days of the Zionist Movement most members of the family were at best reserved concerning the Zionist Movement. Edmund de Rothschild of France,

The assistance of Edmund de Rothschild was no doubt important but I doubt that it should be described as,

Dear Yair, et al,
I would like to salute Nathan Proud, and David Tempelhoff for their very insightful and constructive additions to our common cause. As to some of the other comments I found in post 1290, all I can say is: "Lord have mercy". I get the feeling there is some sort of coordinated effort by elements of a white supremacists group where Brit Am's little news letter is concerned.
Are other active posters getting private emails from such factions?
Please let the group know I welcome any private communications from anyone who thinks it necessary, however, it would be nice to receive some positive, and more Scripturally based emails.
Perhaps Yair, you could enlighten us from a Jewish perspective, as to what role lilith plays, in this idea that the line of Cain is still present on this earth? I find it extraordinary that some "interpretations" of the Scriptural accounts can produce such notions, especially in light of the fact Scripture is adamant and quite plain in refuting these "interpretations".
Anyway, yee haww, les get it on. You have my support Yair, Nathan, David, Cam... and others who approach our mutual task in a rational, constructive way.

We are concerned with the Lost Ten Tribes.
We concentrate on the Three Rs of Brit-Am (Research, Recognition, Reconciliation).
We are not apologists for Judaism nor teachers of the Jewish religion.
There are many others more qualified and with a greater aptitude for such a task than ourselves.
Judaism concentrates on Law, i.e. on what a Jew should do on a day-to-day basis.
Everything else is mostly theoretical.
Jews are people like anyone else. They have developed their own legends etc all of which need to be considered within the context of their time.
If you want to know what fairy tales exist about Lillit etc you are better off going to Wikipedia or some such source rather than coming to us since we are not involved in that field.

I just wanted to clarify something I just read stated by David Templehoff. I was raised a Roman Catholic, and although I now as an adult ,do not agree with many of their man-made traditions and so forth, and I am well aware of their many injustices through the centuries, never once did we ever think of "Mary" as G d. Mary is considered the mother of Jesus and nothing more. Many people pray to her for her help simply that. There are so many ways of believing and worshipping the Almighty. Just days before my own mother died, she warned me to be more understanding in matters of faith.
She was right. You can believe it was Rachel, Mary or an Angel, the end result is what really matters...Love for our G d.
