1. Brit-Am Does Have an Agenda!

Recently we remarked that Brit-Am is the only Movement whose main agenda is to promote the knowledge that the Lost Ten Tribes are amongst Western Peoples.

We hoped to provoke other movements to debate this point with us. Our intention was to show that all other movements have other agendas or a diluted belief.
In the meantime our challenge has not been accepted.
We will speak more of this later.

It must be admitted that Brit-Am, the Ten Tribes Movement, also has an agenda.

At the beginning our intention was that:

We wanted to promote knowledge that the Lost Ten Tribes are in the West.
This knowledge would be presented in such a way as to lead, we wished, to the following results:

1. People would take the message to heart, encourage us and others to undertake further research, to seek to verify our claims or to show where we have erred if err we have. As a result of this hoped-for-activity our beliefs would be confirmed and receive widespread acceptance.

2. Descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes amongst Western Peoples would become aware of their Israelite Ancestry.
The Jews of Judah in the State of Israel and also in the Daispora would also become aware.
The Western Peoples would begin to return to Biblical Values, to look after their own interests and each other, and also to become sympathetic towards the Jews and the State of Israel.

In practice things did not turn out that way.
At least not yet.

Even so, we do have an effect.

What we hoped to achieve on a mass basis we in some cases achieve on an individual one.

We are not hitting the headlines but our influence is taking effect.
The Message of the Brit-Am, Ten Tribes Movement, is going out.

If you agree with the aims we have outlined above you should assist us.

Last week we sent out an appeal.
There was a response but we need more of you to respond.

We need your offerings and assistance.

Divine Providence wants it that way.

Brit-Am is a good cause and they who send offerings to Brit-Am will be helping a good thing and will be blessed.

2. Margie: Who are Gog and Magog and Gomer?

Shalom Yair,

Since returning from celebrating Sukkot, we have not received your newsletter. We wonder whether there has been a change that we have not noted, or if you are simply on leave. I want to check and make sure we haven't been dropped from your list. I hope this finds all well with you and Brit-Am.

I have a question regarding a personal study I'm doing on Ezekiel 34-39. I am now researching Gog and Magog. I think I've read everything on your site and also followed links to read an article by Steve Collins. After doing so, I'm not sure I have it straight. I understand that Josephus identifies Magog with the Scythians. Do you agree? I'm trying to identify the modern day land of Scythia. One encyclopedia tells me it would be Turkey to border of southern Russia and northern Iran. Another source tells me "Gomer" and beit Togormah is identified with the "Sarmatians of Turkey". If I understand correctly, Steve Collins refers to Magog as Iran. Later in Ezekiel's list, he mentions "Persia" and that would seem that Magog and Persia are separate entities. I think I read from your site that Gog and Magog in Biblical terms refers to people of Russia and Asia. Would this be mainly the Pontic-Caspian Steppe? One speaker I heard give a teaching on Ezekiel 38, said the area we're speaking of would be the countries where we have all the "stan" nations. Could you help clarify. I would like to identify the land of modern day Magog, whether it is Turkey, Iran, Russia, or Asia? And also ask what are your tho'ts on modern day land of Gomer, and the house of Togormah.

I appreciate all your teachings and writings.

Regarding your not receiving our e-mails this could be because your server has suddenly decided not to receive messages from our server
or from Israel in general or because you have an anti-spam service that has changed its criteria and cut us out. Or for other reasons.
We have switched your address to be sent out from another e-mail address of ours and perhaps this will help.

As for Gog and Magog,
For Josephus the term "Scythia" meant all of Eurasia and could include the Slavs and Chinese etc.
Turkey was never included in Scythia though at one stage many Scythians were in the region now known as Turkey.
Your references to "source", "another source", etc, without being specific leaves the matter unresolved.
I do not know that Steve Collins refers to Iran as Magog.
There Is an interesting site that from Jewish and other sources locates Magog on the borders of Iran and Afghanistan.

Nevertheless,
Magog according to our understanding is China and the Mongolian nations.
Gog and Magog is the CSSR (former USSR, Russia etc) along with China etc.
Gomer is the non-Israelite nations of Europe including Germany.
Togarmah is often taken to refer to Turkey but could also include other European nations.

Israel's northern border is the river Dan in honor of the tribe of Dan who lived there. Actually, it's correct to say Don - because in this case, vocalization kamatz is read as "o". River Don, which flows from the "abandoned" sea, in Hebrew to leave, to abandon - "Azov" - leaves the boundaries of the holy land, in other words, the upper limit of ancient Israel was the Don River, which flows from the "abandoned" sea, Azov Sea.

Next come the Golan Heights, which is modern Dombay and Teberda - North Caucusus. Caspian Sea - Lake Kineret, which really does look like a violin, "Kinor" in Hebrew. Our sages of blessed memory called Lake Kineret a sea and described trade routes of ships in it, which hardly can be said about today's "Kineret". The town of Derbent - this is the real biblical Tveriya [i.e. Tiberias], fortified walls of which impressed and amazed everyone who was there. These walls "Homot" reach Kineret and there is no trace of such fortifications in the city which is today called "Tveriya". Furthermore Talmud says that in the north of Tveriya there are natural hot springs and they are in the north of Derbent in Kayakent. Besides ancient Tveriya was rich with vineyards, and olive trees did not grow around it.

Georgia or Gruziya as it must be correctly pronounced, for example, is named in honor of the mountain "Grezim" The Georgians themselves call their land Iberia from the Hebrew word "Ivri" or "Ever" - Avraham's great grandfather. Chechnya, North Ossetia and Dagestan - are all parts of ancient Galilee. Azerbaijan, Turkey, Armenia - region Gilead. There is a Turkish city called Tushba or Tishbi - where Eliyahu haNavi [Elijah the Prophet] was from. He is also called Eliyahu a-Tishbi, Eliyahu a-Gilyadi. This topic is very, very big and I can further delve into it, but we do not have enough pages.

Just wanted to lift a veil a little to those unhappy ones that build absurd theories and fictions about how the Jews were in the Caucasus. And these imaginary and false "historians" do not have any archaeological or cuneiform evidence confirming their false theories. We first and foremost have our Torah and statements of our sages, moreover every modern archeologist - Egyptologist will be able to confirm to you authentic borders of ancient kingdom of Israel, that stretched from Yemen in the south to the Don River in the north, from the Nile River in the west to India in the east.

A recent talk we had showed us that the explanation we have may be presented in a more simple straight-forward manner.

We would like to point out that the explanation we propose is distinct from the phenomenon, i.e. even if you do not accept the reason we suggest you cannot deny the fact of it having happened.

Our suggestion is that originally the existed:
Plan A that was the original intention.
Plan B that was to go into effect if Plan A proved unworkable.

Plan A said that the Hebrews were to receive the Torah, conquer and settle Canaan, keep the Torah, induce all of mankind to correct their ways and follow their example.
The Israelites proved inadequate so plan B was put into effect.

Plan B was that the Israelites would split in two.
One portion (Judah) would keep the Torah.
The other portion (Israel-Joseph) would loose its identity, become assimilated by the Gentiles, following an ancestral instinct elevate itself whilst dragging all other peoples in its train, and finally re-unite with Judah.
It appears that we may well be in the final stages of plan B as we shall explain elsewhere.

Correct. Your message is not politically correct or popular amongst liberal Jews (mainstream USA) and most Christian churches but G-d laughs and scoffs at those that insult heaven (Psalm 2).
The message of Truth may go out to millions who wander...only two men out of all the wandering tribes made it into the promised land. Those that took the commandment of G-d to heart and carried it out. Caleb and Joshua were allowed into eretz Yisrael because they stood for the commandment of G-d to take the promised land. Only two men out of six hundred thousand. It seems today that this same ratio exists.

The rest of the generation that saw G-d do mighty deeds and refused to heed the command of heaven were extinguished outside the promised land. The land of Israel. ...Rome...the perpetual enemy of Truth and the Jewish people. Constantine and all his gentile followers changed the calendar of the ancient world, the calendar of G-d given in G-d's Law, the Torah, so that all the holidays, G-d's calendar and the Torah would be hidden from the masses. It doesn't matter if a lie is promoted for two thousand years and billions of people follow like lemmings to a cliff...it still remains a lie which is an abomination to G-d Most High.

Proverbs 6
16 There are six things which the LORD hates,
         Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him:
    17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
         And hands that shed innocent blood,
    18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
         Feet that run rapidly to evil,
    19 A false witness who utters lies,
         And one who spreads strife among brothers.

         And do not forsake the teaching of your mother;

Yet the Jews survived onslaught after pogrom after holocaust, and live this very day as living witnesses of G-d's Commandments...Build up Israel and the Jewish people.
