Answer:
Yes. John Hulley (jonhully@netvision.net.il) has written a whole book mainly on this subject. We have covered related matters in our book "Ephraim".
It is not so much Nobel Prizes in themselves that are important but rather a record of innovative thinking and open minds that search for the truth.
It may be that in practice only one person out of every few thousand actually stands out in this regard. The cultural and intellectual surroundings may also be more important in this matter than ancestry. Nevertheless to a significant degree breakthroughs in the field of knowledge are achieved due to Bible-orientation and a predisposition to a Biblical way of thought.
We have made this factor one of our criteria in determining Israelite ancestry even though on a day-to-day basis many of us may have trouble even counting our bus fare. see also item no.5 below: 5. Correction to Population Statistics

3. Do Black Israelites Exist?

There were black people who were Israelites therefore there must be black Israelites. In addition even "White" Israelites who fathered children from "black" mothers in some cases must have had children who are Israelites.
This sounds confusing and it is.
No-one appointed Brit-Am to adjudicate in these matters.
The simplest answer is to present the facts as they are.

shows that amongst the Ancient Hebrews both very fair and darker types were present. Moses married a dark Ethiopian-type ("Cushit") woman (Numbers 12:6).
The CUSHI (translated as Ethiopian in the KJ) people were dark: [Jeremiah 13:23] CAN THE ETHIOPIAN [Hebrew: "Cushi") CHANGE HIS SKIN, OR THE LEOPARD HIS SPOTS?
There was at least one "Cushi" in the army of David (2-Samuel 18:21).
It was a "Cushi" in the King' of Judah's service who saved the life of Jeremiah (Jeremiah chapters 38 and 39).
We could go on.
In addition the Israelites were commanded to accept the non-Israelite stranger who identifies with them and this includes people of any color.
Israelites were also allowed to buy slaves from other peoples that once freed became full-fledged Israelites. They were also allowed under special circumstances to take captive women from their enemies and marry them (Deuteronomy 21:11). It no-where says that the "enemies" (from whom the women were to be taken) have to be only white or other people.
Read what we said in our commentary on Isaiah ch.45 and in our book "Joseph" how the descendants of slaves from Africa were to be brought into the lands of Israel in exile and ultimately would acknowledge the choseness of Israel.

In other words black colored or white people can all be Israelites but identification as Israelites is required of them and this is the primary point.

4. Is Miscegenation (Racial Mixing) Forbidden?

I am really looking for G-d's opinion on inter-racial marriage. Even though the Patriarchs had done so, I see evidence in Ezra and Nehemiah that it was considered a sin to the people of Israel. Do you feel that it was G-d's intention for other races to inter mingle? I understand about the Canaanites, however, I'm more interested in the trend of Caucasian men marrying into the Oriental race lately. What is your opinion on this? Thank You.

Answer: We get asked questions like this now and again and in the past have answered them. Ezra and Nehemiah were against people from Judah marrying pagans even if some of those pagans were of Israelite origin. AS FOR MISCEGENEATION we understand people who are against it. The Japanese and Chinese are far more racially conscious than most so-called "Caucasians". The Mexicans and Puerto Ricans and the Africans all have racial conscious hang-ups of their own. Even animals (different types of donkeys etc) seem to prefer to marry within their own type. We even supported apartheid in South Africa as a measure of self-preservation. Oh, well. So much for that. The Bible is against intermarriage with Canaanites and with non-Israelites in general (Deuteronomy 7:3 Joshua 23:12 Ezra 9:14) unless certain conditions are fulfilled. The prohibition however is not based on color. See what we wrote above in answer no.3. Do Black Israelites Exist? The prohibition against marrying foreign peoples in the Bibles is connected with the probability that the non-Israelite mate will cause their Israelite partner or whatsoever children of the union who are Israelite to go in pagan ways (Deuteronomy 7:3 Joshua 23:12).

When the Prince of Simeon publicly had intercourse with a Midianite woman Pinchas killed him and saved the People of Israel from destruction:

Here we have intercourse with foreign Midianite women considered a great danger to the Israelite people BUT Moses married a Midianite woman [Exodus 2:16-21] and Jethro (also called "Hobab" son of "Reuel", and ) and his family who were also from Midian was requested to stay with the children of Israel (Numbers 10:29) and his descendants did so (Judges 4:11). They wewre known as the Kenites and were exiled with the Lost Ten Tribes and will return with them (Numbers 24:22) Everything therefore depends on the time and place and circumstances. There are pros and cons and all kinds of considerations both in the pragmatic sense and also according to the Bible.

Brit-Am is concerned with identifying the Lost Ten Tribes and what is related tot hat according to our three Rs: Research, Revelation, Reconciliation. We are not involved in theological studies nor marriage counselling.

5. Correction to Population Statistics From: Thomas Gray Subject: Slight Correction

In the Jewish population statistics, 14,000,000 is 0.23% of the world population, NOT 0.02%

It's just good to be accurate. However, I realize that this minor error does not affect the point made at all. The Moslems outnumber the Jews by a "mere" 86 to 1, not 1000 to 1. I didn't realize that many of those Nobel Laureates were Jews. The World Book Encyclopedia often doesn't even mention their Jewishness. Thanks for the information.

Also, if we take out those on both sides that didn't deserve the prize, and add others who did, the difference would be more striking.

While you are at it, take a look at the scientific developments that came from the British Isles. I had been aware of the Jewish factor, but it was the British factor that caused me to say, What's going on here? and look into the "Lost" Israelite issue.
