1. Angels: Good or bad?
Question:
From: Stephen Ray Hale <Filiramin@cox.net>
Subject: RE: "Brit-Am Now"-682
item #2. EVEN THE ANGLES OPPOSE ISRAEL!
Surely you jest. This has got to be tongue in cheek.
While it is true that the Jews are suffering a bit for their disobedience
and their cases of out of step "obedience" (consider the children refusing
to go into the land after God told them to go in, and then when God said not
to, that generation decided to go into the land), Ezekiel has God bringing
Israel into the land in spite of what they were and had done, though after
extensive purging, for His Name's sake, and Zechariah has God fighting for
the Jews when the land is surrounded by the hateful nations...
...God has somehow
determined to give mercy to a hurting Israel through the mercy of the
righteous gentiles.
I do not hold that the angels are opposed to Israel, only, perhaps to those
still disobedient, who ought to know better.
The opposition is from the princes of the powers of the air, the fallen
Angels, such as the Angel that withheld the messenger of God to Daniel who
was the principality of one of the gentile nations.

Answer:
Stephen Shalom,
First of all the item should have been entitled:
"EVEN THE ANGELS OPPOSE ISRAEL!"
with "ANGELS" instead of "ANGLES"
(a Freudian slip?).
See the entire commentary dealing with this subject
in our notes on The Book of Daniel:
http://britam.org/Daniel/daniel10.html
We do not bring down doctrine.
Most of our observations on Biblical Commentary etc that do not directly
involve Brit-Am Lost Tribe beliefs are no more than observations and our
own insights and suggestions. Take them or leave them.
We ourselves are liable to adopt a reverse opinion as soon as we come across
one that appears more pertinent.
What we were saying is that it appears to us, mainly from the Book of Daniel
but also from other sources, that each nation has a kind of "Guardian Angel".
This angel represents the cultural and unitary uniqueness of the said nation
and represents it in the Heavenly Councils, so to speak.
The angel reflects an inner soul of the people it represents.
The angel wants the good of its people and their self-realization.
It has been appointed by the Almighty. It is basically a good force
but has its own inbuilt limitations.
The angels of the non-Israelite nations are against Israel
and Judah. Even good people in such nations will possess an inborn
anti-Israelite tendency. Their obligation may be to overcome it
and reach unto the Almighty who is in favor of Israel.
Left to themselves they are not liable to do so.
Rejection of Israel and Judah borders on idolatry.
Israel and Judah should not take anything for granted.
We should realize that our destiny and task requires of us a constant spiritual
and physical struggle.
There is a principle that everything below has a parallel above.
As an example of what we mean by the National Angels representing
the inner will of their peoples rather than determining it themselves
take the former kings of Europe.
In history we find that in the late 19th century and early 20th century all the monarchs of
Europe (and most countries had monarchs) were all members of one big inter-related
family. Nearly every king or queen in most countries in Europe
could be traced back to a German Princeling of some small
province or other of Germany.
These monarchs however were "servants" of the nations they ruled over
and reflected their national interests rather than their own "familial" ones.
Consequently wars and national animosities were frequent
with each monarch representing and embodying the national aspirations
and antagonisms of their subjects.
2. "The US a Israelitish nation: wishful thinking"?
From: Al Ramsay
Subject: Re: Jerusalem News-427
Yair, here is the official US census of the major racial groups that currently form the population base of the USA.
A rough count shows 28 % of the population are of the tribes of Israel, unless you include the German immigrants too.
I think that it is wishful thinking to imply that the US is a Israelitish nation. Sure there are huge pockets of Israelites but 28% is far from a majority.
I am reminded what G-d said to Moses before the Children of Israel marched across the Jordan and into the promised land. Moses was told that through time the people would rebel against God and He would send them into captivity and would serve other races. It looks like the same situation is again happening in Europe, with 58 million Moslems as well as the US where they are becoming overrun by other cultures. Are we looking at the prophetic 'time of Jacob's trouble'?

Answer: We do identify most of those of German descent in the USA
as descended from Israel and regard them as a different origins from the
Germans of Germany as we have explained frequently and justified in detail
in our book "Joseph. The Israelite Destiny of America". The same principle applies to
many of the peoples in the USA.

Q1. Brit-Am does not include Germany amongst the 'Israelite" nations. What is your explanation for the fact that a great many citizens of the USA descend from German immigrants?

"The Identifying Blessings of Israel", part two
Extract:
The Chosen People were destined to do "justice and judgement", that was to be part of their task in history: They were to do "justice and judgement", in order that all the nations of the earth be blessed in them. The order of the blessing implies that in order to do "justice and judgement" the people who are blessed must first become "a great and mighty nation" since first "a great and mighty nation" is mentioned and then later the goal of doing "justice and judgement" follows after. Becoming a great and mighty nation may be seen as a tool, as a means, to do justice and judgment. As it says: "Abraham shall become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him" i.e. first the descendants of Abraham were to become a great and mighty nation in order that all the nations of the earth be blessed in them. This was because, as God says: "For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgement: i.e. they would do justice and judgment after becoming a great and mighty nation. "that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he has spoken of him." The Prophets also spoke of the Lost Ten Tribes becoming a great nation. For instance, the Prophet Micah says:
[Micah 5:7] AND THE REMNANT OF JACOB SHALL BE IN THE MIDST OF MANY PEOPLE AS A DEW FROM THE LORD, AS THE SHOWERS UPON THE GRASS THAT TARRIETH NOT FOR MAN, NOR WAITETH FOR THE SONS OF MEN. [Micah 5:8] AND THE REMNANT OF JACOB SHALL BE AMONG THE GENTILES IN THE MIDST OF MANY PEOPLE AS A LION AMONG THE BEASTS OF THE FOREST, AS A YOUNG LION AMONG THE FLOCKS OF SHEEP: WHO, IF HE GO THROUGH, BOTH TREADETH DOWN, AND TEARETH IN PIECES, AND NONE CAN DELIVER. [Micah 5:9] THINE HAND SHALL BE LIFTED UP UPON THINE ADVERSARIES, AND ALL THINE ENEMIES SHALL BE CUT OFF.
The Lost Ten Tribes are described by the Prophet Micah as a warrior people who defeat their enemies. They are called "A YOUNG LION". The British symbol is a lion. A lion is the symbol of Britain. There is hardly a nation on earth today that the British lion has not defeated in warfare at some time or other. The USA is an extension of Britain in a sense. Britain and the USA are dominated by descendants from the Lost Ten Tribes especially from the Tribe of Joseph. Through Joseph the blessings were to be more pronounced and to reveal themselves in a much stronger form.
