1. How Many Messiahs Will There be?
Re: two messias

i have only ever known of one messia. confusing.
In principle according to the traditional understanding there is only one messiah
and he will be a descendant of David from the Tribe of Judah.
The word "Messiah" [Moshiach"] in Hebrew means "annointed"
which is the equivalent of "appointed".
A Messiah son of David from the Tribe of Judah will appear.
Before the Messiah comes or together with his coming other leaders
will come forward who will prepare the way or assist the Messiah.
These other leaders are also "appointed" so they too may be
considered "Messiahs" in a sense and amongst them will be one who is especially important
and who will be a leader of the Lost Ten Tribes.
This is the Messiah Son of Joseph.
Nevertheless by the term
"Messiah" we really mean the final and greatest "Appointed" Leader,
Messiah son of David,
who will bring everything to fruition.

Ezekiel 37:22] AND I WILL MAKE THEM ONE NATION IN THE LAND UPON THE MOUNTAINS OF ISRAEL; AND ONE KING SHALL BE KING TO THEM ALL: AND THEY SHALL BE NO MORE TWO NATIONS, NEITHER SHALL THEY BE DIVIDED INTO TWO KINGDOMS ANY MORE AT ALL.
[Ezekiel 37:23] NEITHER SHALL THEY DEFILE THEMSELVES ANY MORE WITH THEIR IDOLS, NOR WITH THEIR DETESTABLE THINGS, NOR WITH ANY OF THEIR TRANSGRESSIONS: BUT I WILL SAVE THEM OUT OF ALL THEIR DWELLINGPLACES, WHEREIN THEY HAVE SINNED, AND WILL CLEANSE THEM: SO SHALL THEY BE MY PEOPLE, AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD.
[Ezekiel 37:24] AND DAVID MY SERVANT SHALL BE KING OVER THEM; AND THEY ALL SHALL HAVE ONE SHEPHERD: THEY SHALL ALSO WALK IN MY JUDGMENTS, AND OBSERVE MY STATUTES, AND DO THEM.
[Ezekiel 37:25] AND THEY SHALL DWELL IN THE LAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UNTO JACOB MY SERVANT, WHEREIN YOUR FATHERS HAVE DWELT; AND THEY SHALL DWELL THEREIN, EVEN THEY, AND THEIR CHILDREN, AND THEIR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN FOR EVER: AND MY SERVANT DAVID SHALL BE THEIR PRINCE FOR EVER.
2. Criticisms of Brit-Am Answered
http://britam.org/Criticisms.html
Criticisms answered so far:
Brit-Am is not democratic in structure.
Brit-Am has features of a cult.
Brit-Am is primarily interested in money.
Brit-Am has a religious agenda.
Criticisms against Brit-Am are not serious. The principles of Brit-Am entail the three Rs: Research; Revelation of knowledge gained; Reconciliation between the Jews of Judah and the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel and Joseph.
The major justification for Brit-Am derives from the understanding that descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes are today primarily in Western Countries.
This is the bottom line.
Is Brit-Am correct or not in its belief?
If Brit-Am is correct then all these and other claims are on the whole nullified and petty in nature.
3. Time to Get Serious?
We are just before the Hebrew New Year.
This is a propitious time to make decisions.
Is Brit-Am correct in its identification of Lost Israelites?
We ourselves tend to forget in so far as we let routine matters take over the emphasis of our work.
If Brit-Am is correct then Brit-Am deserves your support.
As far as we are concerned the determining factor concerns the Biblical evidence and that which is derived from it.
Other evidence is also important.
Assuming Brit-Am is correct then it must be admitted that other organizations have similar beliefs and use
evidence of the same or similar nature. They too in this matter at least must be acknowledged as correct.
Brit-Am however provides additional proof and confirmation of evidence from the Bible and related sources and from secular studies.
Brit-Am has the potential to make these truths acceptable to segments of the population other bodies
may not be able to reach.
You also find something of interest in the way Brit-Am presents its case, otherwise you would probably not be here.
Again the question remains, Is Brit-Am correct?
Do you agree with Brit-Am on these matters?
Is it important?
Brit-Am intends to upgrade its Biblical and secular studies and overhaul its presentation.
We ourselves believe that through learning, revision, prayer, and renewed dedication
we may be able to bring a renewal of energy to this matter.
Should you not do the same?
We are in need of your support.
Should you not support Brit-Am?
