#5. The Encampment in the Wilderness and Today
(a ) Sandie B:
Yair - the encampments in the wilderness, as you know, did not include the
USA/Manasseh as leader of one, they were with Ephraim. The 4th encampment was
lead by Dan. My question to the Kennedys - how does that figure in with what
they read about Ezk 1:10? i can see the possibility of this creature, (actually
it appears there may be 4 creatures, 1:5,6) made up of 4 faces, being connected
to doing Abba's work in re: the tribes of Israel, (2:3) hence their many eyes
observing what goes on on the earth.
Do you have any thoughts connecting this text to the tribes of Israel?
Keep up the good work.

The Tribes chapter 23
The Order Of Encampment In The Wilderness And Its Historical Significance
Parallelisms & Similarities
Extract:
The present account concentrates on identifying Israelite Tribes and Tribal
clans with groups who amalgamated with other entities to eventually form present
day nationalities. Some aspects of the historical associations of the individual
tribes and their equivalents are indicated in the order of encampment in the
wilderness. The children of Israel when they came out of Egypt were destined to
wander in the wilderness for forty years before entering the Promised Land of
Israel. In the wilderness the Tribes were encamped in a specified order around
the Tabernacle (Numbers chapter 2) and similarly on marching forward they were
to proceed in the same order of march with the group belonging to Judah going
first and that connected with Dan following behind at the end (Numbers ch.
10). The camping arrangement divided the Twelve Tribes into four groups of
three and these groupings have historical significance of their own. The camping
alignment has some parallelism to the Familial order of Jacob and his wives....

The Colors of Israel
The above observations were based on the order of Israelite
encamping around the Tabernacle in the Wilderness. The Tabernacle was
constructed of wood and metals and various colored textiles. The overwhelming
colors of the Tabernacle to an external viewer would have been red, blue, and
white. Famous Commentators such as Nachmanides have noticed this fact. According
to Rabbi S.R. Hirsch the relevant colors of Red, White, and Blue are the
National colors of Israel. Most of the Israelite Nations employ these colors in
their National Flags as brought to our attention by Roger Waite of Queensland,
Australia, who made the following remark:
<<One observation I've made about the nations which have Israel as their
ancestor is that their national flags just about all have at least 2 out of the
3 tri-colours of red, white and blue much in the same way as the Arabs almost
all have red, green, black and white in them. You may wish to include the
following table ...
Britain- red, white, blue
America- red, white, blue
France- red, white, blue
Holland- red, white, blue
Luxembourg- red, white, blue
Denmark- red, white
Norway- red, white, blue
Sweden- blue, yellow
Finland- blue, white
Iceland- red, white, blue
Belgium- red, yellow, black
Switzerland- red, white
Ireland- green, white, gold
South Africa- blue, white, gold
Israel- blue, white
Canada- red, white
Australia- red, white, blue
New Zealand- red, white, blue>>.

3. Tessa: Judah
versus Amalek!
re "Brit-Am Now"-986
#3. Kevin Opp: Jews in USA (Benjamin?) cf. Jews in Israel
Dear Yair
Picking up on Kevin Opp's comments re 'tents of Judah', it's also noteworthy
that when Israel had to fight Amalek in Midian prior to assembling at Mt Sinai,
the battle was largely on Judah's and Levi's shoulders. Aaron (Levi) and Hur
(Judah) supported the arms of Moses (Levi). The whole nation was physically
fighting but the outcome was completely dependant on whether or not the arms of
the (future) Torah bearer were raised.
In today's terms, it may be that the role of 10 Tribers is to support in prayer
and deeds from a distance but Judah and Levi who are in the Land of Israel must
raise up the Torah of Moses - that banner of righteousness which man loves to
bury or tweak. Then we will see what these Amalekites are made of!
Blessings - Tessa

Brit-Am Comment: There is something in what you say Tessa.
Amaelek is a descendant of Esau (Edom).
Rabbinical Tradition said (in one version)
that Esau is only defeated by the sons of Rachel.
Rachel gave birth to Joseph and Benjamin.
The Jews of today include the Tribe of Benjamin.
Most Rabbinical Sources however emphasized that Joseph would b e the one to
defeat
Edom.

#2. Michelle: "confused about what your mission is exactly"
Michelle's comments here ring a bell with me. I also had an inkling of being of
Israelite descent and that is why I went searching and then found Brit-Am. As
Michelle says, the information is interesting, but what I wanted to see happen
is a get together of Israelites to do something significant in the world, if not
in Israel. I have searched other places. So far, I have found some strange
exclusive groups that have some little drum to beat and exclude those who don't
dot their I s in the same way as they do, and several individuals with good
intentions and ideas but who are either unable or unwilling to do anything
concrete at this time. ... So, what I think is missing is the "doing" part. At
least, I wish that a bunch of the Christians such as I am would be able to get
together and do something.

5. Complaint
Against the Brit-Am "Agenda" and Brit-Am Answer
From: Michael <rciadl@adam.com.au>
Subject: discussion group
11 Samuel 7.10
Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that
they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the
children of wickedness afflict them any more, as before time,
I say this with respect , You should stick to the message of who we are and not
digress into so much irrelevant and "iffy" claims. Iy give our opponents too
much room to maneuver
Sorry Brit Am. We will not, nor have we any desire to "return to Palestine" we
now have our new place in the Islands and uttermost parts we will "move no more"
- God said so! End of story. let not any one great or small or whosoever he be
go beyond the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Israel. He has spoken.
Reconciliation as you promote it is not in His Word.
you site is getting a little "wacky" you do indeed have a "religious agenda" by
you own admission :
"#1. The heads of Brit-Am are not interested in converting people to their own
religion since Judaism does not encourage conversion and such a step is not
required from the Lost Ten Tribes at this stage. From our point of view the
whole question may be put to the side while we concentrate on spreading the
message of Hebraic Ancestry and recognition of the need for reconciliation. This
is our task...." emphasis mine.
When exactly do you envisage "such a step" ?
i see the opposite, your reconciliation with Messiah - when He returns. As
for your little map, it seems pathetic I believe it does the Brit Am cause a dis-service'
Surely ISRA EL will cover and include the whole earth N.S.E.W not a pathetic
little island of the Channel or the largest island in the world "Oz down
under" nor just the "now God forsaken Palestine" with Jerusalem the "burdensome
stone for all people"
Zechariah 12.3 "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for
all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though
all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." the whole
Jerusalem question is divisive in the extreme - according to scripture - and
will only get worse as will the lands of "Israel" (outside Palestine) the West
"Brit-am" is bankrupt, in moral decay and confusion, the laws passed here in
Australia over the last 50 years look more akin to Babylon or Hamurabi than
Gods Law - we are in serious trouble- big time - and it will only get worse .
Unfortunately this includes the Israeli people in "Palestine" today as a Nation
they, like us, do not follow the ways of God.
Respectfully, Michael

Brit-Am Reply:
re Agenda.
It is not true that we have any hidden Agenda.
Just the opposite.
A major complaint against us seems to be just this.
See the above letter from Thomas Grey.
Some People are disappointed that Brit-Am is not interested in going beyond the
three Rs of Brit-Am.
Others however are pleased with this.
re Criticism
Your views do not reflect those of the majority of our subscribers. Based on our
recent Brit-Am survey
there are some on our list who are irritated by our posting contrary opinions
and replying to them.
Nevertheless there is a point in doing this.
Some positive results and even valuable findings have resulted by our replying
to
the criticisms of others.
c. The peculiarity of Israel
There is the non-Israelite aspect.
The Bible is the Book of Israel but it is also the only work in which the
Almighty has revealed Himself.
They who are not descended from Israel can approach the Almighty through Israel.
It is understandable however that some non-Israelites will be reluctant to do
this.
Many aspects of Scripture may be interpreted or applied in a Universalistic
manner.
For a private person this is fair enough.
You may be correct that ultimately the whole world will acquire the sanctity of
the Land of Israel and everybody be somehow
associated with the People of Israel. There are sources to this effect referring
to the End of Days or a period thereafter.
To try however to apply the Biblical Message as you do is going against the
simple meaning of Scripture.
In the present age only Israel is the Chosen People.
By Israel we mean BOTH Judah and the Ten Tribes.
This is not something we decided.
Complaints should be taken up with the Management.
d. Biblical Evidence
Brit-Am has Biblical Evidence Proving that the Lost Ten Tribes are today in the
West.
