1. Brit-Am Outreach:
Types of Respondents
We have been involved with Brit-Am for quote a while and met or otherwise had contact
with a lot of different people. I have an aspect of Ephraim in my personality in so  far as I tend to categorize people.
This helps in research but in every-day life can sometimes be misleading and even offensive.
Nevertheless, below is a generalization of different types who receive the Brit-Am message.

(1. Jews who are interested in the Lost Ten Tribes
These are Jews who because they are Jewish are naturally interested in where the Lost Tribes may be.
Many of them are positively disposed and Brit-Am proofs have been effective with them.
A general attitude however with this group is to wait and see how  they whom we identify react to the information.

(2. Probable Descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes.
These more or less accept the Brit-Am position on all major points and agree that differences of
religion etc should be put aside.

(3. Captive Jews. These are probable descendants of Jews or others who identify with Judah.
They want Judah to accept them as being the same as themselves.
Often Captive Jews are the strongest and most enthusiastic supporters of Brit-Am
but in the end feel that Brit-Am is not going far enough towards forwarding their self-identification.
Some of these at times give the impression of wanting to "kidnap" Brit-Am
and push it in directions we do not wish to go.

(4. Half-Edomites
This term is used for want of a better one. They are called half-Edomites on the assumption
that full-Edomites would not want to be associated with Brit-Am in any way at all.
Half-Edomites may or may not like Jews but they want the Jews to be considered as somehow
lacking while they themselves be viewed as Israelites.
Some adherents of British Israel in Britain are like this.
Half-Edomites often evolve either reverting to full-Edomites or progressing to become normal Ten Tribers.

(5. Non-Israelites
The universal arousal and general interest in the Hebrew Roots of Christianity or sympathy with the State of Israel
etc, has also affected Gentiles of non-Israelite ancestry.
Some of these come to Brit-Am and have been helpful to us.
They however usually want us to change our definitions and in effect grant the definition
of Israelite to anyone within mankind who desire it, while weakening the specificity of the
term "Israelite".

The point of these definitions is that a person should decide who they are, what category they
belong to, and realize that their own specific needs may not be shared by others.
