Dear
Yair,
Please note that the last three "Brit-Am Now"s have all
been numbered 279. I know you're busy and this is only a small detail but
thought you might want to know. Andrew

Subject: Follow-Up
comments on Brit-Am 279
Shalom Yair,
I thought I'd offer some
brief follow-up comments for Brit-Am subscribers
re: the link in Brit-Am 279
to a report on my trip to Israel. That report
detailed my August, 2000 trip
to Israel, which is still very fondly in my
mind. Since the report mentioned
that we had driven through the
Palestinian-inhabited West Bank at night, some
readers may think we did
this recently. Obviously, we could not make such a
trip safely today. I do
look forward to the opportunity to travel to Israel
again in the future,
and meeting with my good friend and counterpart, Yair
Davidy.
The video project mentioned in that article was never completed
by those
who were working on that project. A video on the "lost" ten tribes
would be
very worthwhile, and hopefully such a video will be done in the
future. I
would be delighted to work together with Yair and BritAm on such a
project
when/if appropriate financing becomes available.
I can report
that my new four-book set on the history of the ten tribes
referred to in the
article is nearing fruition. I am hopeful that the first
two books in the set
(The Origins and Empire of Ancient Israel and Israel's
Lost Empires) will be
available to the public within a month or so. The
third book, Parthia--The
Forgotten Ancient Superpower, should be available
before the end of the year,
and the final book, Israel's Tribes Today, will
hopefully be available near
the beginning of the new year. When they are
ready, I will inform Yair Davidy
so he can let his subscriber list know
about them. I see my books as being
very complementary to those of Yair
Davidy as our efforts arrive at very
similar conclusions using different
methodologies and informational
sources.

Answers:
The "British-Israel" subject is Not
foolish. Some of the proofs used by
some writers are questionable but others
bring up valid points.
Also the truth of this belief existed before we all
did and independently
of us.
Being human we all approach this subject
from different angles and
interpose our own predispositions
but the truth
is there.
I would be happy to meet up with you when you come to
Jerusalem.
Regarding directing your in your research of this matter
I
would have to know more concerning your personal angle of interest and
what
fields of research you consider pertinent.

Re: Feedback
Shalom Yair,
Thanks for asking feed-back from us who
'hang on your lips without saying a
word' ourselves! ,'>)) I know from
experience with my own Web Site, that
it tends afterwards to feel like
speaking to yourself .
Your efforts and erudite information is much
appreciated and very
valuable, more so because it comes from a Jewish
source - of which there
are generally very few available on this
topic!
As for my own 'use' of your material and Web facilities, I have
wholeheartedly
accepted the 10-Tribes and 2-House issue. In honesty, I shy
away from the
detailed and analytical specifications and reviews, leaving
that for the
hard-headed researchers who need convincing. And I am sure that
you are doing a
great job amongst those. I do appreciate your Tanach
reviews, i.e. applying
the fact to Scripture, history and, especially
Prophecy.
I do have a special burden for the main and major Scriptural
Forecast - i.e.
the Re-identification of 10-Israel and the Reconciliation of
the 2 estranged
Houses into ONE Nation again. If you do consider a
readjustment or re-focus in
presentation, then I would highly recommend more
focus in this direction, with
more Rabbinical input. I presume that many of
your readership is in search of
this exciting angle of this intriguing issue,
judging from my own Web Site on
the fast swelling Hebraic Roots Restoration
movement amongst the gentiles.
I will be in Israel for Sept. & Oct.
We have a home in the settlements. I
look forward to the possibility of a
personal meeting with you and/or details
of possible meetings or activities
which we could attend in this time. I
intend opening a special Web Page on
my Site to market specially recommended
books, Bibles, CD's etc My Site
receives some 700-1000 Page visits per day,
featurung Hebraic Restoration, 10
Tribes, Restoration, etc. Your Site is
already linked to my Web Site with I
hope and am sure some positive result for
you. I do promote an audio reading
version of the Tanach and Jewish Prayers
with good results at the
moment.
This vast Proclamation needs all of us to push together, I am
sure.
Looking fwd to your response.

6. Biblical
Proofs nos. 14 &15 (14. Separate from Judah. 15. Not known to
Judah)
These two proofs are complementary and interweave with each
other and we
have chosen to treat them together.
The Lost Ten Tribes
will not be part of Judah. Only in the Last days just
before or during the
Messianic Era will Judah and Joseph re-unite. Until
that time they will be
separate.
The Lost Ten Tribes must therefore be sought for amongst an
entity that is
not part of Judah and not recognized by Judah. In the End
Times recognition
will come but it will not be easy.
Judah has
prejudices and historical hang-ups to overcome and so does
Joseph. A lot of
dislike of Judah and wrong thoughts concerning Judah are
still to be found
amongst Joseph. I deal with people from Joseph everyday
and I meet every
extreme. On the whole these experiences serve to
strengthen our conviction
of Brit-Am truth though at the same time quite a
few exceptions are
encountered.
In the census figures of Ezra and Nechamia none of the Ten
Tribes are
mentioned. Also all of the Prophets spoke of the Ten Tribes
remaining
separate and lostuntil he end times. Nachmanides spoke of these
issues in
the Book of Redemptionextracts from which were quoted in our
article on
Nachmanides and the Ten Tribes.
Ezekiel 37 speaks of the
re-union of Judah and Joseph in the end times.
Isaiah (11:11) spoke of
the future re-union of Joseph and Judah. Isaiah in
this passage implies that
not only will the true halves have been separate
until the end times but
also a certain amount of antagonism may have
existed between them on
occasion.
<<AND HE SHALL SET UP AN ENSIGN FOR THE NATIONS, AND
SHALL ASSEMBLE THE
OUTCASTS OF ISRAEL, AND GATHER TOGETHER THE DISPERSED OF
JUDAH FROM THE
FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH [Isaiah 11:12]
<<THE
ENVY ALSO OF EPHRAIM SHALL DEPART, AND THE ADVERSARIES OF JUDAH SHALL
BE CUT
OFF: EPHRAIM SHALL NOT ENVY JUDAH, AND JUDAH SHALL NOT VEX EPHRAIM
[Isaiah
11:13]
One side will not envy or vex the other AFTER the re-union. This
implies
that before the re-union there were occasions when elements amongst
one
side or the other were antagonistic to their
brothers.
<<Concerning who did Isaiah pronounce this prophecy. He
was speaking only
concerning Judah and Joseph. S aid Rabbi Shmuel son of
Nachman in the name
of Rabbi Yonathan, when Joseph and Judah were arguing
the Holy Angels said
to each other, Let us go down and see what is
happening. Usually when a
bull and a lion confront each other the bull
retreats before the lion. In
this case a bull (Joseph) and a lion (Judah)
are arguing and there is a
standoff. Jealousy will continue to abide between
tyhese two untilt he
Messiah comes, as it says, THE ENVY ALSO OF EPHRAIM
SHALL DEPART, AND THE
ADVERSARIES OF JUDAH SHALL BE CUT OFF: EPHRAIM SHALL
NOT ENVY JUDAH, AND
JUDAH SHALL NOT VEX EPHRAIM[Isaiah 11:13].>>
(Tanchuma, VaYigash, 4).
<<In the past Jeroboam the son of Nebat
who was from Ephraim hated King
Rehoboam who was from Judah. There was a
controversy between them. In the
future there will be peace between these
two anointed leaders. They will
not be jealous of each other. Concerning
them, it says, THE ENVY ALSO OF
EPHRAIM SHALL DEPART, AND THE ADVERSARIES OF
JUDAH SHALL BE CUT OFF:
EPHRAIM SHALL NOT ENVY JUDAH, AND JUDAH SHALL NOT
VEX EPHRAIM [Isaiah
11:13].>> (Brayshit Rabati page
147).
<<Everywhere you find these two tribes (Judah and Joseph)
hating each other
and antagonistic to each other, etc. May we infer from
this that even the
future Anointed Captain of War who will arise from Joseph
and the Annoited
Messiah who will arise from Judah will (Heaven forbid) be
jealous of each
other? No. There will be no antagonism between them, as it
says, THE ENVY
ALSO OF EPHRAIM SHALL DEPART, AND THE ADVERSARIES OF JUDAH
SHALL BE CUT
OFF: EPHRAIM SHALL NOT ENVY JUDAH, AND JUDAH SHALL NOT VEX
EPHRAIM [Isaiah
11:13].>> (Agadat Brayshit 63).
EPHRAIM
represents all the Ten Tribes.
WHO HARASS JUDAH SHALL BE CUT OFF:
Anti-Semites will be punished.
EPHRAIM SHALL NOT BE JEALOUS OF JUDAH: A
lot of anti-Semitism is due to
jealousy.
JUDAH SHALL NOT HARASS
EPHRAIM: Jewish do-gooders and hyper-active
individuals etc sometimes
antagonize other people.
Isaiah 49:21 speaks of the Jewish reaction when
the Lost Tribes will
return. Many Jews will be astounded and even perhaps
slightly resentful
since they will feel that Joseph at times of trouble
could have been more
positive.
ISAIAH AND THE RETURN OF THE LOST TEN
TRIBES
The Lost Ten Tribes will return. The Jews of Judah will meet the
return of
the Lost Ten Tribes with mixed reactions:
[Isaiah 49:21]
THEN SHALT THOU SAY IN THINE HEART, WHO HATH BEGOTTEN ME
THESE, SEEING I
HAVE LOST MY CHILDREN, AND AM DESOLATE, A CAPTIVE, AND
REMOVING TO AND FRO?
AND WHO HATH BROUGHT UP THESE? BEHOLD, I WAS LEFT
ALONE; THESE, WHERE HAD
THEY BEEN?
In other words, the Jews will ask where were all those now
identified as
Israel when the Jews needed help and were alone? According to
the Midrash
(Pesikta Rabati 32;10) this reaction of the Jews will take place
WHEN THEY
SEE THE THREE EXILES OF THE LOST TEN TRIBES RETURNING!
This
reaction was also discussed in the Zohar as we described in our work
Ephraim.
