HI-TECH LASERS
THROW NEW LIGHT ON STONEHENGE
Computer experts and archaeologists have
used laser scanning on the
stones of Stonehenge for the first time and
discovered carvings of
ancient axe heads.
The axes, both on one stone,
are badly eroded and can not be seen with
the naked eye. But by sweeping
low-powered laser beams at the stones and
analysing the data closely, a
picture emerged.
The team scanned only part of three of the sarsen stones
and believe
that a full scan of all the surviving 83 stones would reveal
more
ancient carvings.
Carvings of bronze or copper axes and a dagger
were first found at
Stonehenge 50 years ago, but they have never been fully
surveyed or
studied. Comparison of a 1953 photograph with the new scans
shows
carvings seem to have eroded since first found, possibly because
of
people touching them.
The first newly-discovered carving is about
15 cm (6 inches) square and
may possibly be two axes, one on top of the
other; the other is about 10
cm (4 inches) by 8 cm (3 inches).
The
stones at Stonehenge were erected in about 2,300 BC. The axes are of
types
made around 1,800 BC, so the carvings are likely to be five
centuries younger
than the stones. Their purpose is a mystery.
Axe carvings on other
monuments from this time are associated with
burials, such as the seven axes
found on a stone burial cist (a box
shaped stone structure) in Argyll,
Scotland. This could indicate that
Stonehenge was a place where the dead were
commemorated, a theory backed
by the many burial mounds found near the
monument.
Alistair Carty of Archaeoptics said: "We have used 3D
scanning
previously to enhance badly weathered carvings on monuments, but
never
on details as fine as the Stonehenge axeheads. The possibility
that
other unknown carvings exist on the other stones is very exciting
and
may hopefully lead to a more complete interpretation of
Stonehenge."
The first recognised and best-known carvings at Stonehenge,
a dagger
and 14 axes, were found by Richard Atkinson in 1953, on the inner
face
of Sarsen number 53. About 26 axes were found soon after on the
outer
face of Sarsen stone 4, and three on the outer face of stone 3.
These
axes vary from 8 to 36 cm long (3-14 inches). There are also a
possible
trellis or lattice pattern on stone 3, and hollows, a shallow
rectangle
(sometimes described as a goddess), ribs and cup-marks on other
stones.
The significance of these putative carvings, never accurately
surveyed,
is debated by archaeologists.

I'm about to leave
Jerusalem, and I'm borrowing a computer here,
which is why I haven't
responded sooner with my feedback on the Meeting
I
attended.
My feedback
can be summed up very easily: WOW! I came away from
it all
charged up. The message is on track, and its need is immense.
I
was very pleased to see and hear such articulate and thoughtful
exponents
speaking up about it. Really, I found it invigorating, not
merely
intellectually or even in terms of Biblical prophecy, but also to
the
spirit. That is perhaps (at least for me) the greatest testimony to
the
accuracy and authenticity of what you're
doing.
I hope to be in touch
more in the future, but for now this is all
I can say. God bless you,

and the others who spoke whose
names escape me right now. I continue to
pray, even more earnestly, for

4. Biblical Proof no.35:
Alcohol
Isaiah described the drunkards of Ephraim (28:1, 3). This
has been
explained by others as figurative and refers to Ephraim being drunk
with
power and success. A literal explanation, however, is also possible.
The
two explanations are complementary.
The literal sense was apparently
intended. The British, Americans, and
Australians are amongst the foremost
consumers of alcohol in the world both
in absolute numbers and per capita
consumption.
This proof may seem a little trifling at first but there is
something to it.
The Lost Ten Tribes especially those of Joseph will be
excessive consumers
of alcohol.
Jews do not drink to excess on the
whole. At Jewish functions you will find
wine and even vodka and whisky
freely available. Drunkenness does occur but
it is rare. Jews do not have
the same thirstin this regard as many Gentiles do.
Moslems do not drink
alcohol.
The Lost Ten Tribes must therefore be found amongst those
Gentile nations
that drink a lot pf alcohol. When this proof is considered
together with
all the others and all taken as a comprehensive whole then it
does say
something.
I grew up in Australia. Some of my friends had
mild drinking problems. I
almost had one. I would say that the source of
this is lack of social
priorities. Young People should be encouraged to take
responsibility, get
on in life, get married as soon as they can and set up a
family. Youthful
energy and aggression should be channeled into spiritual,
positive social
and intellectual activities combined with sport and
exercise: Everybody
according to his individual
proclivities.
Consider extracts from our past commentary on the
relevant passages in Isaiah:
[Isaiah 28:1] WOE TO THE CROWN OF PRIDE, TO

<<THE DRUNKARDS OF EPHRAIM>>: the British drink a lot,
Australians drink
more than anybody else except Russians, North Americans
drink a lot. Jews
(from Judah) are not usually great drinkers but alcohol is
freely available
at Jewish functions and in religious ceremonies etc. Jewish
alcoholics
exist but on the whole Jews have an exceptional tolerance for
alcohol:
Everything is relative. WINE in Biblical terms can mean any
alcoholic
beverage. Perhaps by DRUNKARDSdrug and other addicts are
included?
Amos Chacham understands DRUNKARDS OF EPHRAIM to be also
figurative and
connoting drunk with richness and power.
On the one hand
we say that physically the Tribe of Ephraim is more amongst
the British than
the Americans who are more dominated by descendants of
Menasseh. Even so on
the other hand many from Ephraim are in America.
Ephraimin Prophecy also
connotes the Lost Ten Tribes in general. In this
sense we can understand the
rebuke directed at Ephraim to apply at least in
equal measure to Israelite
descendants in America.
[Isaiah 28:2] BEHOLD, THE LORD HATH A
MIGHTY AND STRONG ONE, WHICH AS A
TEMPEST OF HAIL AND A DESTROYING STORM, AS
A FLOOD OF MIGHTY WATERS
OVERFLOWING, SHALL CAST DOWN TO THE EARTH WITH THE
HAND.
The enemy shall overcome Ephraim and cast him down like pouring rain in
a
thunder storm, a hurricane-like destructive wind, and an overflowing flood
of waters. Ephraim shall be overcome and brought down.

28:3] THE CROWN OF PRIDE, THE DRUNKARDS OF EPHRAIM, SHALL BE
TRODDEN UNDER
FEET:

Physiologically alcohol
reduces inhibitions and can enhance self-esteem. It
enables pride to take
over. In practice someone who is drunk often demeans
himself and is treated
with contempt by others. Nevertheless drunkenness and
pride are linked and
an overduly proud person can act as if he were drunk
and vice-versa.
[Isaiah 28:4] AND THE GLORIOUS BEAUTY, WHICH IS ON
THE HEAD OF THE FAT
VALLEY, SHALL BE A FADING FLOWER, AND AS THE HASTY FRUIT
BEFORE THE SUMMER;
WHICH WHEN HE THAT LOOKETH UPON IT SEETH, WHILE IT IS YET
IN HIS HAND HE
EATETH IT UP.

SUMMER>>: Referring to the fruit of the fig
which gives forth
individual first fruits that fully ripen before most of
the others. These
are usually purple in color and ooze with natural fruit
sugar. Someone who
plucks them just cannot resist swallowing them up on the
spot. So too when
the enemy comes he will devour the riches of Ephraim. One
can picture hordes
and hordes of deprived poverty-stricken foreign peoples
swarming over our
cities taking whatever they can like locusts. The Germans
were not
poverty-stricken but in Eastern Europe in the Second World War
they would
often take away everything they could possibly have any use of
leaving the
conquered peoples with less than they needed to ensure
survival. The
Russians in their turn in some cases acted similarly. They
and most other
peoples would all do the same thing to us if they only
could. Let there be
no delusions on that score. Even the most cultured
people cannot always
resist taking advantage of vulnerability in others,
especially when they
feel they can get away with it.
In most cases, If you run away from an
aggressive dog the dog will probably
run after you whereas if you stand up
to it chances are it will go away or
at least back off. It depends. In some
exceptional cases you should run,
though most times it is a mistake to do
so. Even so: He who fights and runs
away lives to fight another
day.
[Isaiah 28:5] IN THAT DAY SHALL THE LORD OF HOSTS BE FOR A
CROWN OF
GLORY, AND FOR A DIADEM OF BEAUTY, UNTO THE RESIDUE OF HIS
PEOPLE,
But those who remain will be saved and guided by the
Almighty.
[Isaiah 28:6] AND FOR A SPIRIT OF JUDGMENT TO HIM THAT
SITTETH IN
JUDGMENT, AND FOR STRENGTH TO THEM THAT TURN THE BATTLE TO THE
GATE.
Ephraim will make a comeback and drive the enemy out to the gate.
Ephraim(i.e. the Tribes of Joseph or the Lost Ten Tribes in general) will
also succeed out of nothing to re-institute a rule of justice and
righteousness amongst those who remain of his own peoples. The course of
battle will be turned around. When things look most black then we will
repent and immediately things will change as we could not have thought
possible. Never give up!
[Isaiah 28:7] BUT THEY ALSO HAVE
ERRED THROUGH WINE, AND THROUGH STRONG
DRINK ARE OUT OF THE WAY; THE PRIEST
AND THE PROPHET HAVE ERRED THROUGH
STRONG DRINK, THEY ARE SWALLOWED UP OF
WINE, THEY ARE OUT OF THE WAY
THROUGH STRONG DRINK; THEY ERR IN VISION, THEY
STUMBLE IN JUDGMENT.
Before the return even those who should lead us will be
found wanting just
like we are.
[Isaiah 28:8] FOR ALL TABLES
ARE FULL OF VOMIT AND FILTHINESS, SO THAT
THERE IS NO PLACE
CLEAN.
Throughout the Bible there is a theme that unrighteous behavior often
brings its own punishment in its trail without God having to
intervene.
[Isaiah 28:9] WHOM SHALL HE TEACH KNOWLEDGE? AND WHOM
SHALL HE MAKE TO
UNDERSTAND DOCTRINE? THEM THAT ARE WEANED FROM THE MILK,
AND DRAWN FROM THE
BREASTS.
<<WEANED FROM THE MILK>>:
Instruction should be given and Leadership should
be chosen from amongst
those who exhibit some restraint, maturity, and
self-denial when
necessary.
[Isaiah 28:10] FOR PRECEPT MUST BE UPON PRECEPT,
PRECEPT UPON PRECEPT;
LINE UPON LINE, LINE UPON LINE; HERE A LITTLE, AND
THERE A LITTLE:
Truth and instruction sometimes need to be obtained from many
different
sources while we weave our way through.
[Isaiah
28:11] FOR WITH STAMMERING LIPS AND ANOTHER TONGUE WILL HE SPEAK
TO THIS
PEOPLE.

at that time.
5. Points on a verse in
Deuteronomy
[Deuteronomy 33:17] HIS GLORY IS LIKE THE FIRSTLING
OF HIS BULLOCK, AND HIS
HORNS ARE LIKE THE HORNS OF UNICORNS: WITH THEM HE
SHALL PUSH THEPEOPLE
TOGETHER TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: AND THEY ARE THE TEN
THOUSANDS OF
EPHRAIM, AND THEY ARE THE THOUSANDS OF MANASSEH.
BULLOCK
or bull: John Bullis a nickname for Britain. England is named
after the
Angles who were also known as Aegloi. In Hebrew Aegel means
bull-calf.
Aegel is a nickname in the Bible for Ephraim, cf. Jeremiah 31;18.
The
unicorn was originally the symbol of Scotland. The Coat of arms of
Scotland
bears two unicorns. When Scotland was unified with England the
unicorn
(together with the lion) became a symbol of Britain.
The word for Unicorn
in Hebrew is raem. Unicornreally is a legitmate
translation of raem,
though the word also connotes auroch. An auroch
was a kind of gigantic
wild bull that still existed in some parts of Europe
until less than 500 or
so years ago.
In the next issue of our magazine Brit-Am Truththere will
be a thorough
and most interesting article about the unicorn.
Only
Britain has the unicorn as an official symbol. This alone is worth
considering.
The verse according to various Hebrew commentators can
be read thusly:
[Deuteronomy 33:17] HIS GLORY IS LIKE THE
FIRSTLING OF HIS BULLOCK,
He will received his glory from the firstling of
his bull [Ephraim];
AND HIS HORNS ARE LIKE THE HORNS OF UNICORN
His
(Menasseh) horns are immensely powerful like those of a Raem:
WITH THEM HE
SHALL PUSH THE PEOPLE TOGETHER
With these horns he shall batter other
peoples
TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH:
They (Ephraim and Manasseh) will be
together until the ends (extreme points
when the Land of Israel is the
center) of the earth
AND THEY ARE THE TEN THOUSANDS OF EPHRAIM, AND THEY ARE
THE THOUSANDS OF
MANASSEH.
and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim,
that are multiplied a thousands
times over together with those of
Manasseh.
In the above explanation I have taken the Hebrew verses and
certain
principles of exigesis and applied them freely. These results still
have to
be submitted to criticism and analysed but they can be taken as a
tentative
possibility, i.e. the verse could well be understood (as will be
clarified)
as saying:
[Deuteronomy 33:17]
<<He will
received his glory from the firstling of his bull which is
Ephraim;
His horns (through Menasseh) are immensely powerful like those
of a Raem:
With these horns he shall batter other peoples. They (Ephraim and
Manasseh)
will be together until the ends (extreme points when the Land of
Israel is

Ephraim, that
are multiplied a thousands times over together with those of

Even if I am wrong on the above interpretation other
sources corroborate
the general gist of the given message.
In the
Last days a leader (Messiah), will arise from Joseph and is referred
to
Mashia(c)h ben Yoseph. He will lead the Ten Tribes and is distinct from
the
Mashia(c)h ben David who will come from Judah and eventually lead all
Israel.
Mashia(c)h ben Yoseph is usually taken to be someone from
Ephraim and a
descendant of Jeroboam the son of Nebat. Jeroboam caused the
initial
division between Joseph and Judah and his descendant will heal
it.
One source indicates that as well as the Mashia(c)h ben Yoseph from
Ephraim
there will also arise an Annointed Leader from Manasseh as well as
someone
representing Elijah who will emerge from Gilead probably meaning
either
Ulster or the Bible Belt of the USA.

14;1:
<<... "GILEAD IS MINE, AND MANASSEH IS MINE; EPHRAIM ALSO IS THE
STRENGTH
OF MINE HEAD; JUDAH IS MY LAWGIVER" [Psalms
60:7].
<<"GILEAD IS MINE", this is Eliyahu who dwelt in
Gilead. "MANASSEH IS
MINE", this is the Messiah who comes from
the descendants of Manassah as it
says, ["GIVE EAR, O SHEPHERD OF ISRAEL,

FLOCK; THOU THAT DWELLEST BETWEEN THE
CHERUBIMS, SHINE FORTH.] BEFORE

JUDAH IS MY LAWGIVER" [Psalms 60:7]. This
is the Final Deliverer (Redeemer)
who comes from the descendants of

7. Hebrew Celtic Namesakes no.4: Druids and the gods of
Gaul
THE GODS OF
GAUL.
In Gaul three main gods were worshipped and a host of
smaller ones. Samuel
Bochartus traced these gods to Phoenician sources.
Taramis (or Taranis) was
the god of thunder, in Hebrew RAM means thunder
and in verbal form can be
rendered TARAM. Taramis was considered (says
Bochartis) the equivalent of
Zeus or Jupiter; Hesus (Mars) derived from the
Syrian Ezuzo and in Hebrew
Ezuz connotes Strength and is used in the Psalms
(24;8). Hesus was also
known as Essuvos and Alternately the name may be
derived from Esau. The name
Belenus (Apollo) derives from the Phoenician
Bel (Baal). Other parallels are
Celtic "Onuana" and Phoenician Onga; Gallic
Minerva Belisama and Phoenician
"Belsamen"; The figures of Hercules and
Ogmus came from the Phoenician
Melicerte. The cult of Gallic Camule
paralleled the Oriental Cadmil; the
Gallic Gwyon equalled the Phoenician
Gigon.
In southwest Gaul (Aquitaine) the Egyptian goddess Isis
was worshipped
in the Dordogne River Valley from pre-Roman times. Both
Phoenicians
and Israelites in the Land of Israel prior to their exile are
proven by
archaeological findings to have adopted Egyptian
deities.
DRUIDS: Pliny (N.H.30.1.4) is often quoted as saying that
British Druidical
practices had been learnt directly from the Persians.
Actually, Pliny (in
the Latin) may equally be understood to say: "..as if
they had taught the
Persians, not the Persians them". Persian religion was
a mixture of
Israelite, Canaanite, and Babylonian beliefs with some
"Indo-European"
additions.
The frequent conjunction of a ship with the solar disc on
rock sculptures is
found in Sweden, Ireland, and Brittany. This is an
Egyptian symbol. It is
also found in the Pict region of
Scotland.
"It is thought that the Druidical doctrine was discovered
already in
existence, in Britain and was brought from there to Gaul. Even
today it is
the rule for those who want to become really expert in the
doctrine to
go to Britain and learn it there" (Julius Caesar B.G.
vi;2).
In Gaul the territory of the Carnutes was a Druidical
centre. The name of
the CARNUTES contains the root CRN derived from the
Hebrew KeReN (meaning
horn) and found frequently with Celtic tribal-names
especially those of
Britain and in Britain especially amongst tribes of the
Picts in the north.
Druidism practised human sacrifice. They believed in
transmigration
(reincarnation) of the soul after death as did the ancient
Egyptians. It was
possible amongst the Celts to give a promissory note on
debt, payable in the
next world; this custom is considered to be an
Egyptian
one.
The Druidical priests of Ireland seem to have employed a
type of hair
tonsure found also in Arabia and the east. In Irish a priest
was called a
"cois" and it is known that in the Phoenician colony on
Samothrace (off the
coast of Greece) a priest was termed a "coies"
equivalent to the Hebrew
"cohen". In Ireland the supreme god was known as
Beal (meaning baal) or as
Beal Samhan which name is paralleled by that of
the Syrian god "Baal Samim"
whose name in Hebrew (Baal Shamayim) means
"lord of heaven". The Canaanite
worship of Moloch was also practised and
was known to the Celts as Crom
Cruach. The Celtic goddess Aistorith (also
worshipped by the Anglo-Saxons
according to Bede) was a version of
Canaanite Ashtoreth. Religious
associations and customs paralleled those
recorded concerning the ancient
Egyptians, the Canaanite Phoenicians, and
the Phoenicians of Samothrace. The
Irish funeral ceremonies recall those of
ancient Greece and
Egypt.
In Britain and Ireland numerous Celtic place-names retain
the term "baal" or
derivations of it: Baal-y-bai, Beal-Tene, Balhomais,
Ballinluig, Balmuick,
Balnaguard, etc. It has been stated that in Britain
place-names associated
with baal are usually near stone circles or other
megalithic remains. In
Ireland "baal" place-names are especially numerous.
The "sidhe" in
Irish connoted the fairy people or gods; this name, "sidhe"
is of
Hebrew or Phoenician origin. The Balaam inscription (described in our
work
"Ephraim") indicates that the Ancient Hebrews had adopted pagan
practices
and revered the sidde or demons. In Hebrew "shed" means demon
while "Shadi"
is one of the names for God. Very soon after the conversion
of Ireland to
Christianity the whole country was covered by monasteries,
whose complete
organization seems to indicate that they were really Druidic
colleges
transformed en masse (Rolleston p.83 quotes from Bertrand
"L'Irlande
Celtique").
