Subject: RE: "Brit-Am Now"-328
Dear Mr. Davidiy:
Thank you for the clarification on Genesis 49:8, stating, "Judah's
brothers will acknowledge his righteousness." I've had it up to the
eyebrows with those who say they love the Jewish people and then go on to
talk about their wickedness.
There will be overwhelming joy when Judah and Ephraim finally
recognize each other and work together to reclaim the Promised Land!

2. Messiah son of Joseph
The Messiah son of Joseph (Moshiach ben Yosef) in Jewish tradition will
lead the Ten tribes in the last days
and be instrumental in their reconciliation with Judah. he will also help
the Jews rebuild the land and ingather the exiles of Judah.
As well as being a specific person whjo will one day appear he also
represents an ongoing process. Aspects of this process help us
confirm that the Lost Ten tribes are today prominent amongst the "Anglo"
peoples of Britain and America.
He have written on this elsewhere (see http://www.britam.org/messiah.html )
and will write on it again, probably several times.
Another Jewish appreciation of Messiah son of Joseph may be found at:

We do not agree with everything in the said article or at least not with
the general tone of it but nevertheless some of you may like to see it.
A Brit-Am subscriber suggested that Yair Davidiy may be the Messiah son of Joseph.
[First of all I do not think I am descended from Joseph but I may be. Anyway this is what I replied:]
Thank you for your appreciation of our work and of myself.
I am not Moshiach ben Yosef but I may be a kind of forerunner, someone (amongst many)
who helps prepare the way.
[[Anyone who does anything to help the process of identification, reconciliation, and reunification along,
including assisting Brit-Am, is furthering the Messianic Process and helping the world]]
I see the Moshiach ben Yosef as someone who culminates an ongoing process.
I think this is most consistent with Jewish thought on the subject.
I am flattered by your good opinion of myself but would rather have it toned down since
I have difficulty enough sometimes in just being myself.
Also in some ways I could be considered "superstitious" and believe that
excessive praise can bring bad luck.
OR, if you allow people to praise you for things that you do not have then
you are creating a vacuum to be condemned for what you are not.
God bless you
Yair Davidiy
I repeat the person who made the suggestion only raised it as a possibility
and wrote a very intelligent enlightened explanation.
Even so, regarding excessive praise in general the following anecdote is in place:
It used to believe that the kings of England had a magical property and
that if touched by someone with a certain sickness that person would be
cured. King William (of Orange) of Britain was approached by someone with
this sickness and implored to allow the person to touch him.
The king reluctantly agreed, saying: "The Lord give you better health and
better sense".
3. New Historical Source or Literary Invention?

The say that:
<<The Histories record two major sea bourne migrations from the Eastern
extremity of the Mediterranean arriving in Britain in ancient times. The
first sailed from ancient Syria then part of the empire of Ur, in the time
of the Third Dynasty at around 1600 BC The fleet sailed under Albyne who
appears to have been a Gutian - "Geauntes" leader who became misidentified
as "the giant Albion". The venture appears to have been aimed at seizing
the great Tin Island of Britain with Bronze replacing Copper as the
superior metal of that age, and tin being the essential ingredient
necessary to turn copper into harder bronze.
<<The second migration left from the "Trojan" areas of Western Turkey -
Asia Minor around 504 BC and was led by Brwth or Brutus destined to be
become the first king of Britain. With this second migration some 1000
years after that of Albyne, came the second Language of Britain -the
Khumric or "Welsh" - and also the ancient Coelbren stroke Alphabet.
The authors claim to base their information on ancient Welsh and British histories.
We assume that these histories do exist [even though the authors do not
appear to fully reference them-
I may be wrong on this point] since they seem consist in content and style
with the genre of known sources
such as the Irish histories. These sources may reflect a genuine historical
tradition consistent (apart from the dates)
with Brit-Am explanations.
We gave a brief description of the historical migratory paths in "Brit-Am Now"-317
