2. Israelite Consciousness in Alabama

Mr. Davidiy,
I often heard that Alabama was the first State in the US to call for
the creation of the nation of Israel and was the first State after 911 to
re-recognize the nation of Israel. In 1943 Alabama passed a resolution
calling for the creation of the State of Israel. Alabama was the first
State to do this and passed a resolution after 911 on April 4th, 2002
which called for the total support of Israel. It passed in both Houses
unanimously. You may have published the occurrence before. Alabama is
a place populated by a people that are very much in favor of the nation
of Israel and it's people. I must say that among churches in Alabama,
especially charismatic ones that I have attended, you see a
predominance of banners, tambourines, flags with the Star of David, Menorahs, Lions,
etc.
In our parish we fly the flag of Israel on most Sundays in worship.
Our church recently sponsored an event that was centered on the theme of
the "Tabernacle of David." ....All this to
say that we in Alabama, being dominated by many of the Lost Tribes,
have a great zeal and love for the Jewish people because they are our
brothers, even though we do this unknowingly. Also, the issue of the Ten
Commandments monument is another sign of our tie and love for our separated
brethren.

3. The Question of Whether the USA is Manasseh and the UK Ephraim or
the Opposite?

Answers:
(1. Regarding the Unicorn. Joseph consisted of two tribes, Ephraim and
Manasseh. The two symbols of Joseph mentioned in Scripture
are the Bull or Young Bull ("BULLOCK") and the Unicorn.
HIS GLORY IS LIKE THE FIRSTLING OF HIS BULLOCK, AND HIS HORNS ARE LIKE
THE HORNS OF UNICORNS: WITH THEM HE SHALL PUSH THE PEOPLE TOGETHER TO THE
ENDS OF THE EARTH: AND THEY ARE THE TEN THOUSANDS OF EPHRAIM, AND THEY ARE
THE THOUSANDS OF MANASSEH": [DEUT 33:17].
Here we have two symbols applied to Ephraim and Manasseh and since each
Israelite Tribe had its own symbol we may assume that
each of the two symbls belonged to one of the two tribes.
In the verse above the word translated as BULLOCK (young bull or bull
calf) is "SHOR" which actually means "bull"
(but not necessarily "young bull") though elsewhere Ephraim is
nicknamed a "young bull":
[Jeremiah 31:18] I HAVE SURELY HEARD EPHRAIM BEMOANING HIMSELF THUS;
THOU HAST CHASTISED ME, AND I WAS CHASTISED, AS A BULLOCK UNACCUSTOMED TO
THE YOKE: TURN THOU ME, AND I SHALL BE TURNED; FOR THOU ART THE LORD MY GOD.
Here Ephraim is called a "young bull". The word used for "young bull"
(i.e. "bullock") in Hebrew is "AEGEL".
In Ancient Hebrew the word "Aegel" could also actually have been
pronounced as "angle".
Historically this very name "Aegel" was a diminutive (favorite
nickname) for the ethnic term "Angle".
Together with the Saxons, Jutes, Vandals, and others the Angles
conquered from the Celts the land that was later named England.
The Angles gave England (i.e. “Angle-land”) its name. The Angles were
also called “Aegels”. The appellations “Angle” and “Aegel” were employed
interchangeably. The Hebrew word for young bull is "Aegel". Rashi
(Rabbi Shlomo Yistchaki 1040-1105 CE) was the foremost Medieval Jewish
Commentator. In commentating on this verse (Jeremiah 31;18) Rashi
states that the Hebrew word “Aegel” (Young Bull) was a name applied to
Ephraim.This accords with the simple meaning of the verse. This was another
name applied to the English. The English now nickname themselves "John
Bull".
This is an important point: the verse is strongly indicating that the
English (Angles) are to be identified with Ephraim.
We therefore have grounds to ascribe the bull symbol to England which
leaves the unicorn sign for Manasseh.
In addition it is hinted that the section of Israel represented by the
horns of unicorns in the last days would be
the most powerful.
[[Numbers 24:8] GOD BROUGHT HIM FORTH OUT OF EGYPT; HE HATH AS IT WERE
THE STRENGTH OF AN UNICORN: HE SHALL EAT UP THE NATIONS HIS ENEMIES, AND
SHALL BREAK THEIR BONES, AND PIERCE THEM THROUGH WITH HIS ARROWS.
The Midrash (Numbers Rabah 2;7) says that the unicorn is the symbol
of Manasseh and the bull that of Ephraim. It is true that the unicorn is
now part of the symbolic coat of arms of the UK but they derived it from
Scotland which has two unicorns on its standard. The USA is dominated
by Manasseh. The above verse is hinting that Menasseh (symbolized by the
unicorn) would end up being the most powerful tribe.
Getting back to the Midrash:
The Midrash (Numbers Rabah 2;7) says that the unicorn is the symbol of
Manasseh and the bull that of Ephraim.
The Midrash accords with a logical understanding of Scripture. A
Midrash is a Rabbinical explanation from the Talmudic era explaining
Biblical verses that was accepted at the time as worth recording for
future study.
Just because the Midrash says something I do not expect you to.
I do not accept all Midrashim. Sometimes they are difficult to
understand and at times they may appear to contradict
each other. Nevertheless they often contain insights to Biblical
passages ands/or recall genuine traditions.
The Talmud sources, Midrashim, and related sources often correspond
with Brit-Am findings
and to my mind this shows that we are on the right track. This
especially helps where we have an interpretation
of Scripture that other people (including some religious Jews) might
not agree with.

It is William F. Dankenbring who has the opposite opinion.
(3. The argument for Heraldry is based mainly on the number 13 found in
American symbolism.
William F. Dankenbring says:
<<But concerning the national emblems of Joseph, we should expect to
see an Olive Branch, and a bundle of Arrows (mentioned in Genesis 49).
These should primarily be found in the emblems of the tribe of Ephraim, the =
birth-right tribe. So then, what do we find?
<<On the U.S. dollar bill is the official emblem of the United
States - the U.S. Seal. It pictures an Eagle with an Olive Branch grasped in one
claw, and a Bundle of Arrows clasped in the other claw!
Thus the United States, by this evidence, stands identified as the
tribe of EPHRAIM! But the story is even more interesting.
<<The NUMBER "13"
<<If you count the number of leaves in the Olive Branch grasped in
the talens of the Eagle, you will see there are 13 leaves; if you count the
number of olives, you will also see there are 13 olives; and if you
count the number of arrows in the Eagle's other claw, you will see
there are 13 arrows!
<<Also, in looking closely at the Seal, you will see that in the
cloud =
above the Eagle's head, there are 13 stars; and in the inscription on =
the Seal, "E Pluribus Unum," (which means "in many, one") you will
count =
13 letters. In the shield before the Eagle, you will also count 13 =
stripes, red and white. Why all this emphasis on the number "13"?>>
<<Of course, we know there were originally 13 colonies which became
the United States. But the important thing to recognize here is that there
were originally 13 tribes of ancient Israel, when we count Ephraim and
Manasseh as separate tribes. And indeed, they both had separate =
inheritances in the ancient Holy Land.>>
It is true that Ephraim received the rights of the firstborn but
Manasseh also was included as a separate tribe in his own right after Ephraim:
[Genesis 48:19] AND HIS FATHER REFUSED, AND SAID, I KNOW IT, MY SON, I
KNOW IT: HE [i.e. Manasseh] ALSO SHALL BECOME A PEOPLE, AND HE ALSO SHALL BE
GREAT: BUT TRULY HIS YOUNGER BROTHER SHALL BE GREATER THAN HE, AND HIS
SEED SHALL BECOME A MULTITUDE OF NATIONS.
It was therefore MOST IMPORTANT for Manasseh to emphasize the fact that
there were THIRTEEN Tribes and that his tribe was not to be swallowed up in Ephraim:
cf. [Genesis 48:5] AND NOW THY TWO SONS, EPHRAIM AND MANASSEH, WHICH WERE
BORN
UNTO THEE IN THE LAND OF EGYPT BEFORE I CAME UNTO THEE INTO EGYPT, ARE
MINE; AS REUBEN AND SIMEON, THEY SHALL BE MINE.
[Genesis 48:6] AND THY ISSUE, WHICH THOU BEGETTEST AFTER THEM, SHALL
BE THINE, AND SHALL BE CALLED AFTER THE NAME OF THEIR BRETHREN IN THEIR
INHERITANCE.
Apparently Joseph had other sons. These sons were assimilated into
either Ephraim or Menasseh. This accounts for the apparent discrepancies
between the accounts in Chronicles and those of Genesis 46 and Numbers 26.
Chronicles lists the other sons who were counted as either Ephraim or
Menasseh under the headings of either of the two.
4) The states that make up the USA are not an unusual phenomenon as
nations go. Most countries are comprised of a combination
of provinces or states in some type of federation.
Concerning Ephraim it says:
HIS SEED SHALL BECOME A MULTITUDE OF NATIONS [Genesis 48:19].
“HIS SEED SHALL BECOME A MULTITUDE OF NATIONS”
In Hebrew “malo hagoim” or literally “the fullness of nations”. Onkelos
translates this
ss saying that his seed will rule over the nations.
Iben Ezra says it means that many peoples will emerge from him.
Brit-Am understands the expression to mean that other nations will be
dependent upon him for their very existence.
This is open to interpretation as to whether or not it fits the USA or
Britain more.
Just for the record we identify Ephraim with the UK, Ulster, many
descendants of the Irish,
Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa to a degree, the West
Indies
to a degree,
and many of the physical inhabitants of the USA even though the
national
character of
the USA in our time is determined more by the Manasseh element.

More information on this subject confirming our conclusions has
recently
been published in our magazine,
"Brit-Am Truth".
Much of this new knowledge in a condensed form is to be found in the
upcoming 3rd edition of

Two points worth especially noting are:
a. A Classical Rabbinical analysis of the Hebrew Scripture showed that
Manasseh was to become great AFTER Ephraim
confirming and adding to our previous understanding.
This analysis dated back (T.S. Shapira, "Bnei Yissachar" 1784-1840) ca
200
years but only recently came to our attention.
b. An analysis of hundreds (or thousands) of Biblical places names
throughout the USA
showed that names from the Tribes of Joseph were in the ascendancy with
Manasseh predominant.
Spreading the Brit-Am message is our task.
