1. Message for Chanukkha from Steve Mathe
From: Steve Mathe <eliasaph@uniteourheart.com>

Dedicate and Rededicate now message!

Dear Friends at Brit Am,

Truly, we are in a "new era" of world momentous history.  The State of Israel is facing the mustering of the concerted efforts of her enemies to destroy her, as predicted in Psalm 83.  Israel's leadership in the Land and among the Ten Tribes is floundering in a quagmire of dangerous policies with no wisdom to choose common sense, much less the eternal values of the Torah for guidance.  Anti-semitism is rising and ancient enemies are preparing an assault on Yehudah as well as on the Ten Tribes The portent of all these trends and developments bodes hard times ahead for all Israel.  At the same time, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is raising up "works" to gather His people to their Torah identity and to each other. As such, we as the "first contingent to arise from the Valley of Dry Bones'" have an obligation to partake of the Work into which He has mercifully "resurrected" us. Given our diversity of affiliations due to where we have been awakened, we cannot help but have diverse religious opinions and levels of truth as well. Hence we are walking diverse paths of return unto the "straight paths of the Torah. Yet, we have a duty seek His face and His direction in order to align ourselves with His will for this "first contingent."  We also have the duty to fall in line for action, and work and do our part in God's work of regathering.

We also have the duty to galvanize ourselves into a work force to do the Work meted out for us as the people in whose heart is the Torah, (Isa. 51:7). God has not forgotten us, and has resurrected us as his "servants," (Isa. 44:21).  As a common task, the least we can do is financially support Brit Am. Yet we cannot do this if we are not fired up with the esprit d'corps, the motivating spirit of the Divine order to do so.  The voice of our mother Rachel, who is the physical mother of many of us, and is indeed is the spiritual mother of all of Jacob's children, is prophetically crying to us from Ramah, where Samuel the prophet is buried and where Devorah the prophetess had her headquarters, (Judges 4:5, Jer. 31:15).  As we emerge from our graves, we are depicted to bemoan ourselves for having been chastised for not having served as dutiful oxen, (Hos. 4:6).  Because we have rejected the yoke of the Torah and the "burden" of God's Work, we ended up in exile for the last 2700 years. (Jer. 31:18).  As we return to our Torah-based identity, we need to take on that yoke, pull that "prophetic" burden, and do the work as God's servants. The place to begin is here. The time is here.

"Lehanoch" means to dedicate. The Maccabees, lead by the zealous cohanim of the day, cleansed and rededicated the Temple to God's service.  As we light each candle of this Chanukkah memorial, the feast of "dedication," let us all re-dedicate ourselves to be actual WORKING servants in God's end-time work.  Let us all pray fervently for the Divine guidance of his holy Spirit to be restored to us, that we may be empowered to do our tasks.  This is more important than anything else, (Zech. 4:6). We need to build the Mishkan of Prayers  http://www.uniteourheart.com/Foundation-Articles/Mishkan.html to receive the Divine Guidance of the Ruach haKodesh [ Divine Inspiration ] among us. Let us pray, "Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD!  Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh, stir up thy strength, and come and save us!" (Isa. 51:9, Psalm 80:1-2).  We are a small number, but perhaps we are to be the first ones of the "the faithful" God has resurrected to start this phase of His "Work."  Sacrifices were given to show our intentions as we approach God. At this time of return to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and rededication to His service, let us pray for Guidance and Power, and show our thankful intentions by supporting with our substance Brit Am, an instrument in the "Work" of the God of Jacob.  Are you a Maccabee?

Shalom Yair,

I have enjoyed reading many of your articles on Brit-AM.

One thing though, I always thought that the land of Sinim was China.
I know that you are an Aussie Jew, Baruch HaShem, but you are the only one I know of that makes this correlation.
In Hebrew, China is Sin and Chinese is Sinim.

What is intriguing is that they have found Benei Menashe / Children of Manasseh in the region where India / Burma and China meet.
http://www.shavei.org//en/Default.aspx

No disrespect  Yair, but this is irrefutable evidence.
Anglo Saxonia is only one part of the final ingathering of the lost tribes.

I am interested how you came to this conclusion.
I am a fellow Aussie with Italian birth and live on the Gold Coast in sunny Queensland 8-)
Shalom
JOE.

Joe Shalom,
Regarding the so-called Bnei Menasseh  this is not true. There is no proof that they are Israelites.

Concerning Sinim and the Chinese.

You said,
## In Hebrew, China is Sin and Chinese is Sinim. ##
This is correct.
As far as I can tell however it is only found in Modern Hebrew.
It is a transliteration from the Euriopean "china" or "Sino-" meaning "Chinese" which in turn is derived from the name of a Chinese dynasty.

Names of China
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_China
Extracts:
many names of China exist, mainly transliterations of the dynasties "Qin" or "Jin" (e.g. China, Sino), and Han or Tang.
There are also names for China based on a certain ethnic group other than Han, much like the Western rendering of all Arabs as "Saracens". Examples include "Cathay" based on the Khitan and "Tabgach" based on the Tuoba.
In other parts of the world, many names of China exist, mainly transliterations of the dynasties "Qin" or "Jin" (e.g. China, Sino), and Han or Tang.

In the Bible Sini is the Sinai Peninsula.
The SINIM were a Canaanite People.

Genesis 10:15 Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn, and Heth; 16 the Jebusite, the Amorite, and the Girgashite; 17 the Hivite, the Arkite, and the Sinite; 18 the Arvadite, the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

here we find the SINITE recalled amongst Canaananite Peoples.
There were Twelve Canaanite nations. In the list above only eleven are mentioned but CANAAN was later used as both a general name for all Canaanites and also as the name of one specific tribe.
The term "Amorite" (another of the Canaanite Nations) was given a similar usage.

There were the Ten Canaanite Nations whose lands were promised to Abraham:

Genesis 15:19 the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, 20 the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, 21 the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.

The SINIM are not in this list.

The SINIM were also not one of the Seven Canaanites Nations that the Israelites eventually conquered (Deuteronomy 7:1).

We think that some of the Australian Aborigines may descend from the Canaanite SINIM.
The Veddoid People look much like Australian Aborigines. Traces of Veddoids may be found in Egypt and also  Arabia and Yemen.
They are also found in India, and  as ethnic trace elements amongst many areas of Asia including China, and then in Australia.

This may be why Australia, the Great South Land, is referred to as Land of Sinim (See Articles below).

3. Proverbs 14 (New King James Version)
1 The wise woman builds her house,
But the foolish pulls it down with her hands.
2 He who walks in his uprightness fears the LORD,
But he who is perverse in his ways despises Him.
3 In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride,
But the lips of the wise will preserve them.
       4 Where no chief-bulls#1 are, the trough is clean;
But much increase comes by the strength of a bull#2.
5 A faithful witness does not lie,
But a false witness will utter lies.
6 A scoffer seeks wisdom and does not find it,
But knowledge is easy to him who understands.
7 Go from the presence of a foolish man,
When you do not perceive in him the lips of knowledge.
8 The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way,
But the folly of fools is deceit.
       9 Fools mock at sin,
But among the upright there is favor.
10 The heart knows its own bitterness,
And a stranger does not share its joy.
11 The house of the wicked will be overthrown,
But the tent of the upright will flourish.
12 There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.
13 Even in laughter the heart may sorrow,
And the end of mirth may be grief.
14 The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways,
But a good man will be satisfied from above.[a]
15 The simple believes every word,
But the prudent considers well his steps.
16 A wise man fears and departs from evil,
But a fool rages and is self-confident.
       17 A quick-tempered man acts foolishly,
And a man of wicked intentions is hated.
       18 The simple inherit folly,
But the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
19 The evil will bow before the good,
And the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
20 The poor man is hated even by his own neighbor,
But the rich has many friends.
       21 He who despises his neighbor sins;
But he who has mercy on the poor, happy is he.
22 Do they not go astray who devise evil?
But mercy and truth belong to those who devise good.
23 In all labor there is profit,
But idle chatter[b]leads only to poverty.
24 The crown of the wise is their riches,
But the foolishness of fools is folly.
25 A true witness delivers souls,
But a deceitful witness speaks lies.
26 In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence,
And His children will have a place of refuge.
27 The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life,
To turn one away from the snares of death.
28 In a multitude of people is a king's honor,
But in the lack of people is the downfall of a prince.
29 He who is slow to wrath has great understanding,
But he who is impulsive[c] exalts folly.
30 A sound heart is life to the body,
But envy is rottenness to the bones.
31 He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker,
But he who honors Him has mercy on the needy.
32 The wicked is banished in his wickedness,
But the righteous has a refuge in his death.
33 Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding,
But what is in the heart of fools is made known.
       34 Righteousness exalts a nation,
But sin is a reproach to any people.
35 The king's favor is toward a wise servant,
But his wrath is against him who causes shame.
