DNA Studies in their present state do not confirm the belief that descendants of Ancient Israelites populated regions of Western Europe. Even if some kind of connection between the region of Ancient Israel and the west can be affirmed this does not mean that the people were Israelites. They could have been any one of a number of ancient peoples or a combination of them, e.g. Edomites, Ammonites, Moabites, Phoenician-Canaanites, Assyrians, Amorites, Egyptians, etc.
Nevertheless the very fact that we can now show the high probability (according to conventional DNA studies) of West Europeans having come from the general geographical area of Ancient Israel within the overall time-frame of Israelite Exile should make our beliefs more feasible and acceptable.
Ultimately beliefs of Brit-Am Lost Tribes of Israel Movement are justified by the Bible. Nevertheless we are only human and we need our convictions to be consistent with human understanding. It therefore helps to know that a transference of population in Ancient Times such as that we consider to have taken place is consistent with DNA findings.

Regarding Dave Sauder's comment on the decline of the nations which developed from The Lost Tribes, I thought it would be wise to point out the blessings also came with curses for disobedience.
See Deuteronomy 28 - it is happening, no so slowly and very surely
And our nation have been disobeying in a big way - we are going to be destroyed much quicker than we rose.
We have been given time to repent and the curses are starting to come upon us, our forefathers entered into an agreement with The LORD - there is no getting out of it.
1. Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2. Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
3. Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
4. And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
5. Thus saith the Lord God; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
6. An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.
7. The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.

The fact we are declining so very fast (and soon to fall totally) is more evidence we are of The Lost Tribes.

My reply to the above comments....Abba Father has given Israel both blessings and curses. Israel as a whole, at least the lost ten tribes, by virtue of them NOT knowing who they are...have entered into debauchery by their turning their face away from their Maker, thereby they are now suffering the curses and their wombs are drying up!!!

As for what Dave Sanders wrote, it's part of what is known (and called/named) in the prophecies as "Jacob's Trouble". This is similar to what Israel was experiencing when under the despotic rule of Egypt. pjr
