1. Brit-Am Pesach Break. No Posts for a Week
Pesach (Passover) 5710
29 March at sunset to 5 April at sunset. i.e. March 30, 31, April 1,2,3,4,5.
During this time we will be receiving mail and in exceptional circumstances perhaps answering some individual queries.
Most answers however will only be given after the Pesach.
In principle we will be working very briefly for only a short time each day.
We will probably not be sending out any postings to our list over the Pesach.

2. Message to Brit-Am Supporters from Steve Mathe
Shalom Dear Friends of Brit Am,

The years' counters are spinning fast, hurtling us toward the Redemption of Israel and of the world. The Powers of Darkness are marshaling their forces against the State of Israel, against all Jews, and against the Ten Tribes, to thwart any and all efforts to reconnect to the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  Their goal is the same, as it has been since time immemorial, to annihilate the children of Jacob.  We are not without defense, nor means of counter attack, we have the Torah, the instructions of the Creator G-d, the Master of Legions. We, pioneer returnees of the Ten Tribes are expected to return to that set of instructions that we have called "a strange thing," and have cast aside, (Jer. 16:10-13).
Jeremiah 16:
10 'And it shall be, when you show this people all these words, and they say to you, 'Why has the LORD pronounced all this great disaster against us? Or what is our iniquity? Or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?'

11 then you shall say to them, 'Because your fathers have forsaken Me,' says the LORD; 'they have walked after other gods and have served them and worshiped them, and have forsaken Me and not kept My law.

12 And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me.

13 Therefore I will cast you out of this land into a land that you do not know, neither you nor your fathers; and there you shall serve other gods day and night, where I will not show you favor.'

As we prepare to celebrate the quintessential appointed identifying holy day for all Israel, let us remember a few guidelines that befit us to include in our Haggadahs, as we tell our essential stories to G-d, to each other and to our children.

In the beginning, let us give thanks that we are included by G-d's grace with a privileged position in "the first contingent" to be awakened from the Valley of Dry Bones."  Therefore let us acknowledge that we have a task to be pioneers of the Great Return spoken of by the Prophets.

Let us acknowledge that we shall be regathered not because of our merits, but because of the mercies of the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who made a Covenant with our fathers.

Let us acknowledge not just the deliverance of times past, but also the deliverance to come, the great Second Exodus, (Jer. 16:14-21).

Jeremiah chapter 16:
14 'Therefore behold, the days are coming,' says the LORD, 'that it shall no more be said, 'The LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,'

15 but, 'The LORD lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.' For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their fathers.

16 'Behold, I will send for many fishermen,' says the LORD, 'and they shall fish them; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

17 For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity hidden from My eyes.

18 And first I will repay double for their iniquity and their sin, because they have defiled My land; they have filled My inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable and abominable idols.'

19 O LORD, my strength and my fortress,  my refuge in the day of affliction,  The Gentiles shall come to You  from the ends of the earth and say,
' Surely our fathers have inherited lies,  Worthlessness and unprofitable things.'

20 Will a man make gods for himself, Which are not gods'

21 ' Therefore behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know My hand and My might; And they shall know that My name is the LORD.

Please note that "the gentiles" in verse 19, are the "gentile children of Israel," who have become gentiles because they wanted to be like them, and were cursed out of their own mouths. The context, (e.g. verse 10), of the chapter tells us that they are Israelites.

Let us acknowledge as we are remembering our deliverance from slavery of times past, we are also awakened with the shofar blast of the coming of our deliverance, for which we "in the isles" have been waiting in our spiritual prison houses.  Let us acknowledge that we are called to righteousness, for the Torah is in our hearts, placed there at Mt. Sinai, (Deut. 29:15).  As we eat the matzoh, the bread of affliction in haste, let us resolve to hasten our activities to promote the hastening of our peoples back to the G-d of Israel.  Go through Isa. 51 as a unique summary of what is happening to us.  Go through Isa. 42, 48, Hos. 8:1-2, 13:1-16, and Psalm 78 on what we have done.  Go through Psalm 80 on what we are to do, and do it, during your Seders and all through the days of unleavened bread.  Please take notes on collecting your insights and answers to your prayers during this feast, and share with Unite Our Heart . Let us "gather" after Pesach in our discussion groups, and work on what we are to do, (Hos. 5:16).

In our Passover gatherings let us remember that the "Afikomen" the larger piece of the middle matza, that is to be hidden, i.e. "lost," (Deut. 32:26), is found by a child at the end of the Seder, is probably indicative of the Ten Tribes, that were to be "broken off, (Zech. 14:10) from the brotherhood with Judah.  Because we "broke the Covenant, symbolized by the bread of the Word of God, we of the Ten Tribes were cast out of the Land to be found and regathered and reestablished later at "the end of days." The children who find them are the "children's children," who are returning with their rekindled hearts to the hearts of their fathers, Abraham Isaac and Jacob,  from the last galut / captivity, (Mal. 4:24, Deut.30:1-13).  As such, they are finding their true identity, and thus are "reinheriting themselves," (Stone Chumash, p. 1175). This is the last captivity of Israel, which held us hidden in the mental manacles (constrictions /Mitzraim/Egypt) and mindsets of the Greco-Roman "Occidental" world of the West, (Zech. 9, Hos. 13:15, 11:10, Jer. 31:9, Zech. 8:7).

Yours for the redemption of ALL Israel,

Steve Mathe

Terrible times of Jacob's trouble (Jer. 30:7) are on the horizon, it is time to seek the L-RD, (Hos. 10:12, Amos 4:12), for we have a lot of work to do.
