Brit-Am Answer:
Some decades ago I was apprehended by the police over a debt to a Governmental
body.
The policeman in charge of my case remarked that he did not understand how I
manage to make it financially through the month.
I felt like suggesting he investigate the matter and perhaps enlighten us both!
Looking back over the last three years or so we now realize that about 50% of
Brit-Am funding has been provided from adherents in some way or other of the
Jewish Religion.
Whilst this sector accounts for only ca. 10 to 15% of our subscribers they have
contributed much of our operational income.
This was not always the case and may change.
The Brit-Am message is mainly directed to Joseph.
Why should Judah bear most of the burden?
We hope Judah will continue to help us but Israel/Joseph needs to give more of his
share.
Everybody in our opinion should do more.
In principle we accept contributions from whomsoever may be so moved to offer
them.
There are those who may be reserved about helping us and that is their problem
as much as ours.
Whomsoever helps Brit-Am is assisting others and giving to a Holy Cause.
We believe they will be blessed because of it.
Brit-Am gets by from selling publications and from offerings.
Many people give at some stage or other.
Even relatively small amounts help a lot.
There are some who cannot give or think they cannot or will not or have
commitments elsewhere etc.
I myself for long periods of time over several stages of my own existence was in
similar situations so we cannot complain.
Brit-Am sustains itself at a relatively low cost when compared with other
operations of similar scale.
Nevertheless our expenses are real and not modest. Everything is relative.
In the same way as there is opposition to Brit-Am so should there be support.
Brit-Am subscribers who can help Brit-Am are asked to do so.

Yair, hello. Your recent emphasis on Gomer is interesting. I don't know about
it's veracity, but neither do I discount it's possibility, especially in light
of the meaning of the name which according to Strong's Concodance is
"completion."

Shalom Yair,
Could it not be that Gomer, the wayward wife of Navi/Prophet Hosea is a type of
the wayward House of Israel/Ephraim in a prophetical sense '
Don't you think it is a prophetical look at wayward Ephraim '
Hosea 1:2 When Yahweh spoke at the first by Hosea, Yahweh said to Hosea, "Go,
take for yourself a wife of prostitution and children of unfaithfulness; for the
land commits great adultery, forsaking Yahweh."
Hosea 1:3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; and she conceived,
and bore him a son.
Hosea 1:4 Yahweh said to him, "Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while,
and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel on the house of Jehu, and will cause the
kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.
Hosea 1:5 It will happen in that day that I will break the bow of Israel in the
valley of Jezreel."
It seems to make sense to me and specifically refers to the house of
Israel/Ephraim.
Isn't it amazing Yair, that where ever we turn there is more and more in depth
meanings in the words of Ava [i.e. Aba "Father"]'
Bless you mate and I hope I am able to see you next year in Jerusalem, as I hope
to be able to attend Pesach at least.
Shalom from Down Under,
Brian Brit-Am Reply: The Three Children of Gomer are expressly equated by Hosea as being three
different aspects of the northern House of Israel i.e. the Ten Tribes. Gomer
therefore represents the Ten Tribes who were taken into Exile.
Hosea 1:
3 So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore
him a son.
4 Then the LORD said to him:
' Call his name Jezreel,
For in a little while
I will avenge the bloodshed of Jezreel on the house of Jehu,
And bring an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.
5 It shall come to pass in that day
That I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel.'
6 And she conceived again and bore a daughter. Then God said to him:
' Call her name Lo-Ruhamah, [Not Shown Mercy.]
For I will no longer have mercy on the house of Israel,
But I will utterly take them away.
7 Yet I will have mercy on the house of Judah,
Will save them by the LORD their God,
And will not save them by bow,
Nor by sword or battle,
By horses or horsemen.'
8 Now when she had weaned Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived and bore a son.
9 Then God said:
' Call his name Lo-Ammi, [i.e. Not my People]
For you are not My people,
And I will not be your God.....
Hosea 2:
2 'Bring charges against your mother, bring charges;
For she is not My wife, nor am I her Husband!
8 For she did not know
That I gave her grain, new wine, and oil,
And multiplied her silver and gold
Which they prepared for Baal.
11 I will also cause all her mirth to cease,
Her feast days,
Her New Moons,
Her Sabbaths
All her appointed feasts.
13 I will punish her
For the days of the Baals to which she burned incense.
16 ' And it shall be, in that day,'
Says the LORD,
That you will call Me 'My Husband [Ishi]'
And no longer call Me 'My Master [Baaali]'
19 I will betroth you to Me forever;
Yes, I will betroth you to Me
In righteousness and justice,
In lovingkindness and mercy;
20 I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness,
And you shall know the LORD.
23 Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth,
And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy;[f]
Then I will say to those who were not My people,
' You are My people!'
And they shall say, 'You are my God!'
Hosea 3:
5 Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God and
David their king. They shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days.
Hosea 4:
15 Though you, Israel, play the harlot, Let not Judah
offend...
17 Ephraim is joined to idols,
Let him alone.
We see the Judah is EXPRESSLY excluded from the equation.
The whole parable relates ONLY to the northern Tribes.

Brit-Am is the "still small voice" that contains the truth.
[1-Kings 19:12] AND AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE A FIRE; BUT THE LORD WAS NOT IN THE
FIRE: AND AFTER THE FIRE A STILL SMALL VOICE.
