Extracts:
Ten out of the Twelve Tribes of Israel were exiled and lost their identity. Their descendants are now to be found amongst Western Peoples. This is proven from the Bible, Talmud, and Rabbinical Sources as well as from Secular Studies in Ancient History, Archaeology, Mythology, Linguistics, and related fields. It would be expected that DNA studies also reflect ancestral links between the Gentile (in the religious sense) Peoples in question and their Jewish kinfolk. DNA should also show that the Israelite Nations of Judah and the Ten Tribes may be traced back to the Middle East Area of Ancient Israel. In the article below we give an inkling of the issues involved and the complexity of the subject. DNA (especially mtDNA) is determined by a combination of both environment and heredity. To what proportion of either determinant may characteristics at a particular stage be attributed is not known. Nevertheless, even relying only on what has been published and accepting conventional explanations, valid ancestral links between the Israelite Nations and the area of Ancient Israel may be shown to exist. This in itself may not proof anything but it does add to the general plausibility of what Brit-Am believes in.
MtDNA does not prove that any other people are descended from Israelites.
Concerning West European peoples mtDNA findings as conventionally understood are not inconsistent with Israelite Orgins to a significant degree. In some cases direct descent of part of the peoples in question from the general area of Ancient Israel is the most logical conclusion that would need to be drawn if the present date is accepted as valid.

My ancestors moved FROM Ireland TO America... I always wanted to know what type of Barbarian I was and took a Dna test... It turns out that I am originally from the Middle east and ONLY match Jews. What you are saying about Jews forgetting their heritage and moving from region to region is TOTALLY PLAUSABLE even if you have an Irish sounding last name... My genetics show my dna has moved EXACTLY where those supposed "myths" occur. Everything from France To Egypt... However, I am not a bible reader nor a religious man. Brit-Am Summary; Extracts from BAC; NKJV Translation.
Brit-Am Summary.
Ch. 9: Be honest, do not take the wife of another, avoid evil company; tell the truth and seek not the harm of your fellows. Jerusalem will be desolated because they did not keep the Law. They worshipped Baal and so did the Celts in the British Isles. God wants us to do good. Both Israelite and non-Israelite nations will be punished for their sins.
Extracts from BAC (Brit-Am Commentary):
Jeremiah 9
God does NOT want you to commit adultery. It is not necessary. Adultery in Biblical terms is taking any woman who belongs to someone else (9:2).
The Book of Proverbs speaks at length about the evil of harboring negative feelings towards others, talking about them and doing them wrong (9:4).
Teach your tongue to tell the truth. Go out of your way to do so and eventually it will become second nature. You are only permitted not to tell the truth in exceptional circumstances such as saving yourself or others from harm or avoiding needless embarrassment to yourself or others (9:5).
The opposite is also true. Strive to tell the truth and the truth will be revealed to you. You will know when untruth is being said (Rabbi Nachman of Braslav, "Sefer HaMidot") (9:6).
Do not cheat others or mislead them (9:8).
Sometimes we do things without thinking. God will make us pay account for everything we do, even things we though were not important. On the other hand He will also reward us for our good deeds (9:9).
The Ancient Israelites worshipped Baal and also applied the name Baal to God Himself as reported by Hosea.
The Celtic Inhabitants of Britain called themselves Iberi, or Iberni, or Hiberni which as all names meaning Hebrew. They also worshipped Baal whom they referred to as Bel (9:14).
God wants from us LOVINGKINDNESS, JUDGMENT, AND RIGHTEOUSNESS. We are required through deeds and endeavor to know God:
9:24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,' says the LORD.

1 Oh, that my head were waters,
And my eyes a fountain of tears,
That I might weep day and night
For the slain of the daughter of my people!
2 Oh, that I had in the wilderness
A lodging place for travelers;

' Consider and call for the mourning women,
That they may come;
And send for skillful wailing women,
That they may come.
18 Let them make haste
And take up a wailing for us,
That our eyes may run with tears,
And our eyelids gush with water.
19 For a voice of wailing is heard from Zion:
' How we are plundered!
We are greatly ashamed,
Because we have forsaken the land,
Because we have been cast out of our dwellings.''
20 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O women,
And let your ear receive the word of His mouth;
Teach your daughters wailing,
And everyone her neighbor a lamentation.
21 For death has come through our windows,
Has entered our palaces,
To kill off the children'no longer to be outside!
And the young men'no longer on the streets!
22 Speak, 'Thus says the LORD:
' Even the carcasses of men shall fall as refuse on the open field,
Like cuttings after the harvester,
And no one shall gather them.''
23 Thus says the LORD:
' Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might,
Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
24 But let him who glories glory in this,
That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,' says the LORD.
25 'Behold, the days are coming,' says the LORD, 'that I will punish all who are circumcised with the uncircumcised' .
26 Egypt, Judah, Edom, the people of Ammon, Moab, and all who are in the farthest corners, who dwell in the wilderness. For all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in the heart.'
