1. The Tribe of Simeon as Assimilated by Manasseh.

Different Midrashim and related sources indicate that a large portion of Simeon together with elements from Judah were to be assimilated amongst Manasseh east of the Jordah.
Simeon was to be influenced by Joseph. This is indicated by the use (in some contexts) by Simeon of the bull as a symbol even though the bull otherwise represents Joseph.

Levi through the Maccabees (the Hasmoneans at Chanuccah) overcame the powers of Yavan (Greece and Hellenization).
Since Levi was destined to overcome Yavan a certain parallelism between the two existed.
[So too, Joseph is destined to overcome Edom and so Edom and Joseph (Midrash Breishit Rabah 99:2) have certain similarities between each other.]

Deliver us, Lord
Isaiah 63:7-10 I shall tell of the Lord's unfailing love and of the great things He has done for His people, in His compassion for Israel. He said: surely they are My people, they will not be false with Me. So, He, Himself delivered then from their troubles. He carried them through all the days of old. Yet, they rebelled and grieved His Holy spirit, so He turned against them and allowed enemies to conquer them.
[God chose and prepared a nation that would be His friends and a witness about Him to the world. Sadly, they rebelled against their Maker, so their punishment was exile. This was to be for a defined period, Ezekiel 4:4-6, now we look forward to the full and final regathering back to the Land.]
Isaiah 63:11-14 When in exile, they recalled the days long past and how Moses shepherded his flock through the sea and into the Promised Land, by the power of the Holy spirit. Thus, You led Your people and thereby gained everlasting renown.
Isaiah 63:15-16 Look down from the heavens ? Your lofty throne and see us, Lord, for You are our father. Where now, is Your zeal and Your valour, You are withholding Your compassion from us. Even though Abraham may not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us, You, Lord, are our Father and our Redeemer from of old.
['Abraham does not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us', The ten Northern tribes, now lost to general knowledge, can still call on their father and Redeemer of old.]
Isaiah 63:17-19 Why, Lord, do You let us wander from Your ways and harden our hearts, so that we no longer revere You? Turn again for the sake of Your servants, the tribes that are Your inheritance.
Why have enemies trespassed on Your sanctuary? Why have our enemies trampled the Land? You have not ruled over them, they are not Your subjects. We are Your people from ancient times, Your servants and witnesses.
Psalm 106:47 Deliver us, Lord our God, and gather us from among the nations, so that we may give thanks to Your Name and make Your praise our pride.

With the benefit of procrastinating reading e-mail, I have the advantage of knowing that Elenin was much to do about nothing. But I went and read the Hosea article. I agree that Ephraim and Menasseh are America and the English Speaking world. Gomer, Germany, is from Scythia, from Assyria, and it was within this larger heterogenous migration that the Lost Israelite Tribes were carried to Northwestern Europe. Interestingly the land on which Rome would be built, (according Rambam who you cite on the Mohammed (LOL!)) was formed from mud by an angel on the day that Solomon married his Egyptian princess. In addition Esau whose name became Edom was said to become Rome.
Modern Anglo-Israel is marrying like Solomon, into Esau and Assyria. For as each day shows the USA and Western Europe moving into closer and closer relationship with an eye on Russia's Eurasian Union and China's Great Power ambitions. Who'd have thought Libya would be attacked by France? But it seems as if America and UK will sell themselves to Rome/Germany The New Holy Roman Empire. The State of Israel is really boxed in now that Turkey seems bound for her prophetic destiny as Israel's foe. Bibi may be forced to deal with Palestinians in return for security arrangements with US/EU.

The following potentially important information was noted:
Teman is from Edom. Edom is another name for Esau. ...
The first-born son of Esau was also named Eliphaz (1 Chronicles 1:35). The mother of Elphaz was Adah (Genesis 36:4).
Eliphaz had six sons one of whom was Amalek. The mother of Amalek was Timna the concubine.
Genesis 36:
11 And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz.
12 Now Timna was the concubine of Eliphaz, Esau's son, and she bore Amalek to Eliphaz. These were the sons of Adah, Esau's wife.
Amalek is the arch-enemy of Israel (Exodus 17:16; Deuteronomy 25:19).
Even so, Midrashic Literature paints a more positive picture of Eliphaz. It says that Jacob helped raise him and that Eliphaz spared the life of Jacob even though his father, Esau, had commanded that Jacob should be killed (Rashi to Genesis 29:11).
At all events Eliphaz the friend of Job was called the Temanite. This suggests that he descended from Teman the son of Eliphaz and half-brother of Amalek.
The inhabitants of Teman seem to have been famous for their wisdom:
Jeremiah 49:
7. Against Edom.
Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'Is wisdom no more in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished? '
Obadiah 1:
8 Will I not in that day, says the LORD, Even destroy the wise men from Edom, And understanding from the mountains of Esau?
9 Then your mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, To the end that everyone from the mountains of Esau May be cut off by slaughter.
"Teman" is sometimes used as a synonym for Edom itself (Amos 1:12; Obadiah 1:9; Jeremiah 49:20, 22; Habakuk 3:3).
In Hebrew Temen can by synonymous with Yamin and mean "right-hand" or "southern side".
Assyrian inscriptions mention Temanaye, Temana, Temeni, Tamnuna, Taiman.
This was a province in the far north of Syria. It was the name of a people of that area in the 1000s BCE but who later (in ca. 800 BCE) were also found in the region of Assyria between Nineveh and Calah.
