As an EFL teacher in China, I always show the film, IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE (with Jimmy Stewart) at the end of the semester as a very good example of the true original culture of the USA, vs. the modern culture of greed and immorality. I ask them to write me a reflection paper on what they learned about American culture, and life lessons. 99% of the students are deeply moved by the film and love it. 2. Wallace Robinson: Could the Reformation Have been the Beginning? RE Statistics: Israelite-Dominated Nations and World Population. Your latest email (as shown above) passes right over my head. Sorry, I could not follow what is presented. However, I went to this link: A Hebrew Multitude; Israelite Nations by Population and Percentage. and read some material there on the subject. With the belief that Joseph nations are U.S., England, Canada, etc., as you listed, there is one common Christian link to all these nations which is rather telling. They are Protestant nations who have not aligned themselves with Rome. It causes me to think: Could the Reformation be the beginnings of lost Israel's finding herself. You see, most Roman Catholics would believe they have already received the "total package" from God and do not need more enlightenment, but with the Reformation people were open to wonder and investigate, question and protest, and in the midst of that kind of society, people would tend to find out more about themselves. When the Joseph nations begin to think they have "arrived", I hope they will have discovered their true roots which has certainly been nurtured and blessed by the living G-d. Wallace Robinson Brit-Am Reply: Shalom, We find both Protestants and Roman Catholics amongst the Israelite nations. The Netherlands is about half Catholic. Belgium is Catholic. France is nominally Catholic. Part of Switzerland is Catholic. Eire (Ireland) is Catholic. There are many Catholics in North America, and in Britain and her offshoots. It is difficult to make generalizations on this matter. There were two complementary articles concerning statistics. Statistics: Israelite-Dominated Nations and World Population. A Hebrew Multitude; Israelite Nations by Population and Percentage. Further Reflection: Israelites and the Wilderness. The Sages said most emphatically that one should not say something unless they were absolutely certain about it. Brit-Am however is engaged in both Propagation AND Research. We spread the facts. We impart knowledge of Biblical and Historical Truths. We also reveal new information. Here and there we think we have merited to stumble across some important findings. We keep trying. Trying means testing things out. Sometimes we are not certain but we keep moving. If we come to a dead end we may move back. And start again. The articles were intended to provide food for thought more than anything else. The Tribes of Israel from one perspective are divided between Judah and the rest. Judah today is to be found amongst the Jews of the state of Israel and the Jewish Diaspora elsewhere. [It is to be noted that most Jews today are either in the State of Israel or in Israelite nations such as the USA, Canada, France, UK, etc. A significant minority is still to be found in non-Israelite countries such as Russia, etc]. From another point of view a distinction is made between Joseph and the others. The non-Joseph nations include Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Eire, and the State of Israel. They number ca. 130 million. Britain and her offshoots comprise the descendants of Ephraim. Britain and British offshoots (Canada, Australia, South African Whites, New Zealand, etc) have a population of ca. 130, 000,000. The USA contains elements from all the Tribes. Joseph is predominant. Numerically there may be more of Ephraim than Manasseh in the USA BUT Manasseh predominates in other ways. The USA has ca. 313 million but many are non-Israelites. The non-Israelite component in the USA may now be an overwhelming majority of the total. Roughly speaking we may assume that the USA (Joseph) has about as many Israelites as the other Israelite nations put together. Amongst the other nations Ephraim (Britain and her offshoots) have about half which is a quarter of the total. A rough picture could give us the following proportions: Other Tribes: 1 Ephraim: 1 Joseph (i.e. Ephraim and Manasseh in the USA): 2 Perhaps half the Israelites are now in the USA. Another quarter are with Britain and British offshoots. Is North America the Wilderness? There was a thread about the Wilderness. Hosea 2:14 and Ezekiel 20:35 both speak of Israel being brought into the Wilderness in the End Times or in the Period leading up to them. Ezekiel speaks as if to say that the Israelites will be brought into the Wilderness as a place of initial purification. From the Wilderness they will enter the Land of Israel. From there the process of rectification shall continue. We had a thread in the past on this matter. See: Brit-Am Now"-1053 3. Question on Israel in the "Wilderness" in the Latter Times. Brit-Am Now"-1054 1. Opinions Concerning the "Wilderness"; Brit-Am Now"-1056 3. The Wilderness: Physical or Spiritual? The Rabbinical Commentator, Malbim, opined that the Wilderness in this case denoted the places of Exile in general. This understanding however is not sufficiently consistent with the simple literal meaning that we strive to attain. Concerning the view that the Wilderness is the USA. This could also all of North America i.e. include Canada. Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa when first settled were also Wilderness places. The Wilderness in this sense did have an effect on the Israelite Peoples who settled there. It freed them from the European pagan mid set. Settlers in these areas were influenced by their surroundings and the exigencies of survival. They also attempted to put into practice Biblical principles that previously had existed more in the realm of theory rather than practice. On the whole it may be said that the settlers became more egalitarian, and more open to new ideas and to change. 3. New Article. Statistics: World Jewish Populations and the Ten Tribes. Extracts: The Jews descend mainly from Israelites who once dwelt in the Kingdom of Judah. The Jews also include minority elements from the Ten Tribes. The Khazars who converted to Judaism were descended from Jews who had assimilated and from part of the Ten Tribes. In the statistics below we see the populations of Jews throughout the world. Today most Jews either dwell in the State of Israel or in nations dominated by descendants of Israelites from the Ten Tribes. The USA (representing Manasseh and Joseph) is especially important in this regard. We see from the above that less than 10% of the Jewish Population today dwells in what we would term non-Israelite countries. 42.5% dwell in the Land of Israel. 39.3% in Manasseh-Joseph (the USA). 6.34% dwell in Ephraim countries (UK, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand). 12% dwell in Israelite Nations that are not dominated by Joseph (either Ephraim or Manasseh). |
