In Turkey a similar situation exists with its 20% Kurds and 20% Alevi Turkomans along with Arabs, Armenians, and others. Everywhere in the Middle East minorities are persecuted. In some cases, such as Syria, the rulers themselves are from a minority and they oppress the others. These people are not the kind one can hold a dialogue with without first beating them and then holding a gun to their heads. It may not sound nice and such expression are liable to offend. This is the world we live in. Islam means submission. Islam needs to be subjugated.
