There was something I wanted to
share.
I have received monthly magazinesfrom the British Israel World Federation for over two decades.
Their current version is called 'The Covenant Nations'.In the most recent issue, I was PARTICULARLY moved by an article entitled,'The Peace Arch'. It is a beautiful white monument which for 91 years has stood in Peace ArchPark, on the U.S. - Canadian border, between Blaine, WA, and Surrey, B.C.
It is 67 feet tall, and commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Ghent, in Belgium, on Dec. 24, 1814, which ended the War of 1812 between Britain and the young, expanding U.S.
In 1817 an agreement was signed which provided for naval disarmament in the Great Lakes and an unfortified border of 4,000 miles between the U. S. and Canada. Within the park is a major border crossing which has never been closed. Within the two vertical uprights of the arch, are located iron gates hinged on either side of the border with the inscription:
"May These Gates Never be Closed".
The inscriptions on each side of the arch's horizontal band not only represent a civil peace, but a strong reminder of a common ethnic originwith biblical significance. The inscription on the U.S. side reads: CHILDREN OF A COMMON MOTHER.
What an inspiring message to be found within our nations, one etched instone that can be visited and viewed! Would that most of our population knew the significance of this simple, absolutely TRUE statement.
Well, BRIT-AM remains at the leading edge, in publically showing biblical/historical proofs and evidences of Lost Israel's HUGE effects and presence across whole Continents, principally by your tireless research, Yair.
There are others, I know - Steven Collins, James Tabor, to name a couple - who have used their skill at research - carefully building the case of where Jacob-Israel's descendants dwelt and moved on, and re-established themselves.
It is all so AMAZING.
God BLESS each of you, in using yourabilities and time to "see" all the evidence and proofs amongst such a deepcover of, frankly, deliberate deception, or just plain ignorance.
I come across interesting history at times - new to me, at least - but Ihave been given "eyes to see", so to speak. Take Portugal. It has a"north" and a "south". The northern Portuguese are fairer than many southerners, some of whom are quite dark-skinned.
The reason?
The Moors attacked Portugal, subduing the south, but came up against very stiff resistance in the north.
It turns out that some of Lost Israel were living there, in the north, and the Moors melted away.
Further north, into the very north-west of Spain, is GALICIA, which even today is one of several areas of Spain who are either "independent" or "autonomous".
The Basques live further east. I believe all of these groups are representatives of Lost Israel....
Working as I do, part-time, in a major U.S. bookstorechain, I daily come across some extremely interesting historical and somebiblically-based books that reveal fascinating insights into events and national cultural matters that turn "accepted" beliefs and theories ofhistory on their heads.
