Brit-Am Now no.1909: Ten Tribes Studies. Covenant People |
Ten out of the Twelve Tribes of Israel were exiled and lost their identity.
Their descendants are now to be found amongst Western Peoples. They are the Lost Ten Tribes. This is proven from the Bible, Talmud,
and Rabbinical Sources as well as from Secular Studies in Ancient History, Archaeology, Mythology,
Linguistics, and related fields.
In the notes below we bring news, queries, and updates related to these issues.
This is a service provided by Brit-Am, Movement of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel.

1. Announcing the New Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations Web Site.
Brit-Am/Hebrew nations has a new web site.
Our previous site,
www.britam.org will continue to function, and our regular features will, at
least for a while, continue to be posted primarily on it.
So too, we have a smaller, slower site, that looks nice but is not really that
functional,
http://tentribes.net/
We also have a Hebrew language site that also could use adding to, upgrading, or
replacing with something better,
http://www.eseretshevatim.com/
The New Site:
Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations
The Lost Ten Tribes of Israel: Research, Representation, and Reconciliation.
http://www.hebrewnations.com/
This site already contains a few of our articles. More will be posted over the
following days.
Minor improvements will also be made.
The new site has a different use of coloring and of space utilization.
It is designed to be easy and pleasurable to navigate and kind to the eye.
It is also intended to facilitate the working of SEO [Search Engine
Optimization] programs.
Previously we had in effect been eliminated from Google findings that cover ca.
80% of the market.
We are still not sure who or what was responsible for this, and why?
It may have reduced our exposure by ca 25 to 30% or more.
It is hoped that the present site will enable us to overcome the Google Gaggle.
Much of the site is new in design and concept. It is even somewhat
revolutionary. We were not always so certain as to whether or not the designing
decisions that were made are correct ones.
We therefore would appreciate your feedback very much.
This will be especially valuable since many of you are used to the old site with
all its plus and lackings.
The new site design and arrangement is mainly the work of Itamar Davidy, son of
Yair.
A lot of work went into all this.
The purpose of the site is to spread the Brit-Am Message concerning the Ten
Tribes now being mainly amongst Western Peoples.
It will work according to the Principles of Research, Representation (spreading
the message), and Reconciliation.
Please visit the site, look it over, and if you have any comments, criticisms,
etc get back to us.
May the God of Israel bless all of you,
Yair Davidiy
on behalf of
Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations

2. Reactions to the New Site:
====
(1) Jonathan Caro: Lovely site transformation!
Dear Mr. Davidiy,
Lovely site transformation, which I'm sure will gradually and successfully
integrate with former sites and nicely evolve of itself
over time. Mazel Tov and Blessings for ongoing and increased success, as you
spring off of the consolations of Tisha B'Av. How apt!
Jonathan Caro M.D.

(2) Bill Rasmussen: Greets the Site with Mixed Feelings.
Yair, I have mixed feelings on the new website. To me, it looks more like a blog
site and less like a website. It isn't bad, but it is not very dynamic. Pretty
generic. The one good thing is that the format is easier to browse for new
people, which I [think] is a nice hook to get them involved in Brit Am. I guess
I would like something more flashy and elegant given the powerful prophetic
nature of the organization. I would love to see the colors of the Temple vividly
displayed along with some flashy gold ornamentation like on a menorah or temple
vessels. Anyway, I do like the new name as it simplifies what we are doing and
hopefully, it will improve Google searching.
Shalom, Bill Rasmussen

(3) Mark Williams: It looks cool.
Shalom alaikum (did I get that right?) Yair
It looks cool 8-)
Regards
Mark

(4) John: Much Better!
Shalom Yair
Congratulations on your new website!
Presentationally it is much better to the 'Western' eye.
I did not wish to criticise your original site, as having studied some
Hebrew and appreciated the 'block' nature of the 'Alef-Bet' [alphabet], I could
understand why the typeface was usually in larger or 'bold' face.
However the 'Western' eye prefers smaller, neater fonts which reflect the
'cursive' nature of modern 'Anglo-Saxon' writing and publications,
particularly as a large proportion of the Internet is in English.
Hopefully too the 'Java/flash' layout will aid readers as the site content
grows, and that the SEO will improve page listing, whatever Google do.
All the best.
John

(5) OvadYah: KOL HA'KAVOD! [Hebrew, "All Honor" i.e. Well Done!]
Congratulations Yair, with a light-years advanced improvement presented by your
New Site!
THIS is truly professional and praise worthy! - which this Great Topic is worthy
of.
Your Menu Systems are superb to handle the masse of information that you present
in a logic, consumer friendly way.
3. Answer to Query Concerning the Mother of the Future Messiah Coming from Dan
or Naphtali.
Mark Williams wrote:
Shalom Yair
This is probably more a question for a fully qualified Rabbi, but I'm sure
you'll give it your best shot.
According to scripture the Messiah will be of the tribe of Judah on his
father's side (from David via Solomon) and of Dan or Naphtali (why the two
choices?) on his mother's.
Since the bulk of Danites and Naphtalites went into exile what are the odds
on a man of the Davidic line (the right one, obviously) marrying an actual
Jewish Danite/Naphtalite woman?
Oh. And if demographic projections are right we've got about 28 to 38* years
to get them together. If they're not already. Assuming that there's not
another 200 odd years to go till the end of the sixth millenium
Cheers
Mark
*This being the estimated time till the Jews of Israel form the majority of
World Jewry; thus bringing about the conditions (return of prophecy in
particular) necessary for the return of Eliyahu and the arrival of the
Messiah and his team.
Brit-Am Reply:
The idea that the mother of the Messiah will come from Dan or Naphtali is not
doctrine. It is the opinion of someone in the time of the Sages that was written
down.
It is also only found in a relatively obscure source concerning Dan (Midrash,
Buber), and maybe in one other place in regards to either Naphtali or Dan.
Nevertheless, there may be something to it, it is worth taking note of it. We do
not however have to get up-tight about the details.
As for the rationale:
Both Dan and Naphtali were sons of Bilhah, maidservant of Rachel. This may have
some significance.
Also Samson the superman-judge-and hero had a mother from Judah and a father
from Dan. Samson in some ways is considered a precursor of the Messiah. Since
the father of the Messiah will be a descendant of David and therefore of Judah
we might expect his mother to be from Dan to maintain a parallel parental origin
to that of Samson, i.e. half-Judah and half-Dan from one side or the other. How
the Naphtali option came up is anyone's guess. Going from memory from a long way
back and not knowing the correct reverence, it is somehow linked to a Biblical
verse appropriate to Bilhah the mother of both Dan and Naphtali
Concerning the logistic of the necessary parents getting together:
Most of Dan and Naphtali went into exile with the Ten Tribes. A small minority
of ALL the Tribes did however remain with Judah. It may be from one of these
that the mother of the Messiah will come.
Alternately, those of Dan and Naphtali who went into exile with the Ten Tribes
eventually found themselves mainly in Scandinavia, Ireland, and Britain. Judaism
receives converts from these nations.
Genuine converts to Judaism do exist. Over time they make for quite a large
number. They merge with the Jewish People. Very many of them come from Brit-Am
Lost Ten Tribes nations.
It may be that the lucky lady in question may be descended from one of these?

Extracts:
The Yom Kippur War of October 6 to 25, 1973 was between Israel and Egypt in the
south. In the north the war was fought mainly between Israel and Syria. The
Syrians were also helped by forces from Iraq, Morocco, Jordan, Palestinian
volunteers, North Korean pilots, and Russian advisors and military experts. Both
Egypt and Syria received supplies and war material from Russia. Israel was
replenished by the USA. Towards it end Russia was on the verge of sending 80,000
or more troops to save the Arabs. The USA went on a military war alert. The USA
War Footing was backed by Britain even though previously the British barred
the use of their facilities for the transference of supplies to Israel.
The Yom Kippur War changed my life... Less than six months later, in March 1974,
I arrived in Israel. Israel has never been the same since. Neither have I.
... Moshe Dayan told PM Gold Meir that "this is the end of the third temple."
... The US was ready for war. On October 26 the tension broke and a Ceasefire
was agreed on.
... The USA henceforth became the main supporter of Israel.
5. John Salverda: Brit-Am Does Not Give Enough Room.
Re Brit-Am Now no. 1908: Ten Tribes Studies
Dear Yair,
I was pleasantly surprised to be referred to by Mr. Brian Somers in your latest
news letter. I am only a little bit embarrassed that it was my advocacy for
Christian Brit-am members that got me mentioned rather than my work equating
Greek myths with the Hebrew Scriptures (but I ll take it graciously). He must
have been referring to this URL
<http://www.britam.org/EphraimiteAction.html#Ten>
where I did, in deed, argue in favor of, what I see as, the Christian point of
view.
In your response to him you say, We do not know and the whole matter is one for
the future. and then you go on to say, Members of the Ten Tribes evidently
achieve Biblical Consciousness through Christianity. For most of them it appears
that this may be in accord with Divine Providence. We can leave it at that. You
say you don t know, but then you throw us Christians a bone, thanks for that.
... You know Yair, Michelle Bowie (Hebrew Roots Movement Happening among
Christian Churches) is correct many, many, Christian congregations are waking up
to the identity message. And it is thanks to you, and yes, the Christian
members of Brit-Am also, who are spreading this message. Sites are popping up
all over the internet touting Christian churches that cite your works, some of
these are quite elaborate indeed. There s The Real Truth Magazine, the
Hope-of-Israel and even some strictly Catholic sites such as the Australian
Marian Academy of the Immaculate Conception (How s that for a name of a site
that features Brit-Am articles?) and many others, too numerous to mention here,
that mention your work and you by name. Brit-Am is appreciated, general
knowledge about them is growing as we speak. The evidence is being accepted and
convincingly spread, many are trying to do so. Don t sell yourself short.
I guess the point is, it takes two to make a message, the messenger and the
receiver. To the messenger it is only one message, but to the receiver, well,
there are as many of that one message, as there are receivers of it. Everyone
seems to hear it a little differently. There are lots of Christians who would be
on your side if your side were just a little bit bigger and afforded us room to
fit on it.
Still your faithful friend,
-John R. Salverda
