Psalms 66

TO THE CHIEF MUSICIAN, A SONG OR PSALM
[Psalms 66:1] MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE UNTO GOD, ALL YE LANDS:
This is a cry to all peoples of the earth to acknowledge the Almighty.

[Psalms 66:2] SING FORTH THE HONOUR OF HIS NAME: MAKE HIS PRAISE GLORIOUS.
Everyone including all non-Israelites together with those of Hebrew origin should praise God.

[Psalms 66:3] SAY UNTO GOD, HOW TERRIBLE ART THOU IN THY WORKS! THROUGH THE GREATNESS OF THY POWER SHALL THINE ENEMIES SUBMIT THEMSELVES UNTO THEE.
The glory of the Almighty receives expression through the greatness of Israel.

[Psalms 66:4] ALL THE EARTH SHALL WORSHIP THEE, AND SHALL SING UNTO THEE; THEY SHALL SING TO THY NAME. SELAH.
In the End Times all the earth will worship the God of Israel.

[Psalms 66:5] COME AND SEE THE WORKS OF GOD: HE IS TERRIBLE IN HIS DOING TOWARD THE  CHILDREN OF MEN.

[Psalms 66:6] HE TURNED THE SEA INTO DRY LAND: THEY WENT THROUGH THE FLOOD ON FOOT: THERE  DID WE REJOICE IN HIM.
The Children of Israel went through the  Red Sea of Reeds on Dry Land.
A similar miracle may occur for the Ten Tribes when they return.

[Psalms 66:7] HE RULETH BY HIS POWER FOR EVER; HIS EYES BEHOLD THE NATIONS: LET NOT THE REBELLIOUS EXALT THEMSELVES. SELAH.
People who go against the good of the Israelite Nations are rebelling against the Almighty God of Israel.  "Islam" means submission and potentially may be reformed but for now the "submission" takes the form of acceptance of the results of their rebellion against Israel.

[Psalms 66:8] O BLESS OUR GOD, YE PEOPLE, AND MAKE THE VOICE OF HIS PRAISE TO BE HEARD:
 We have power through prayer.

[Psalms 66:9] WHICH HOLDETH OUR SOUL IN LIFE, AND SUFFERETH NOT OUR FEET TO BE MOVED.
God keeps us aluve and gives us everything.

[Psalms 66:10] FOR THOU, O GOD, HAST PROVED US: THOU HAST TRIED US, AS SILVER IS TRIED.

[Psalms 66:11] THOU BROUGHTEST US INTO THE NET; THOU LAIDST AFFLICTION UPON OUR LOINS.

[Psalms 66:12] THOU HAST CAUSED MEN TO RIDE OVER OUR HEADS; WE WENT THROUGH FIRE AND  THROUGH WATER: BUT THOU BROUGHTEST US OUT INTO A WEALTHY PLACE.

[Psalms 66:13] I WILL GO INTO THY HOUSE WITH BURNT OFFERINGS: I WILL PAY THEE MY VOWS,

[Psalms 66:14] WHICH MY LIPS HAVE UTTERED, AND MY MOUTH HATH SPOKEN, WHEN I WAS IN  TROUBLE.
A lot of us when we are in trouble are prepared to do anything, pay anything, even if only to receive a partial relief. It then happens that we eventually alotgether overcome whatever the problem was. Whatever good resolution we made or were prepared to make we then forget.  Everyone does this to a degree. Do not be harsh on yourselves but do something consciously positive as a token of gratitude to the Almighty.  Every day try and do something.  It does not have to necessarily be something big just something that has signifincance to ourselves.

[Psalms 66:15] I WILL OFFER UNTO THEE BURNT SACRIFICES OF FATLINGS, WITH THE INCENSE OF RAMS;  I WILL OFFER BULLOCKS WITH GOATS. SELAH.

[Psalms 66:16] COME AND HEAR, ALL YE THAT FEAR GOD, AND I WILL DECLARE WHAT HE HATH  DONE FOR MY SOUL.

[Psalms 66:17] I CRIED UNTO HIM WITH MY MOUTH, AND HE WAS EXTOLLED WITH MY TONGUE.

[Psalms 66:18] IF I REGARD INIQUITY IN MY HEART, THE LORD WILL NOT HEAR ME:
People did us wrong? We did wrong? We plan to do wrong? We respect wrongdoers and wrongdoing? This is all negative enery working against us.
We may not necessarily be able to make a complete turn around but a start is always possible, if necessarily again and again and again.  Positive Beginnings are always worthwhile. As the sayiong goes, A little bit of light drives away a great deal of darkness.

[Psalms 66:19] BUT VERILY GOD HATH HEARD ME; HE HATH ATTENDED TO THE VOICE OF MY PRAYER.
Everyone who prays regularly can testify to being answered at some stage or other in a near miraculous manner. This does not happen every time but it happens often enough for us to be aware that our prayers are being listened to.

[Psalms 66:20] BLESSED BE GOD, WHICH HATH NOT TURNED AWAY MY PRAYER, NOR HIS MERCY  FROM ME.
God is with us all the time.
We are not always aware of this  due to our own faults or our surroundings but HE is still there. HE hears us and answers us as we would want HIM to do so where we aware of everything that is involved in the equation.
