27. Poem: Zebulon
Zebulon (the Dutch) and the Sea-Shores

Concerning Zebulon it was prophesied:
[Genesis 49:13]
"ZEBULUN SHALL DWELL AT THE HAVEN OF THE SEA; AND HE SHALL BE FOR AN HAVEN OF SHIPS; AND HIS BORDER SHALL BE UNTO ZIDON".
Zebulon settled in the Netherlands [Holland]. The expression translated as "THE HAVEN OF THE SEA" in Hebrew is better rendered as the shore of the seas. I/3 of Holland is below sea-level, another 1/3 is subject to periodic sea-flooding, i.e. 2/3 of the country needs protection (in the form of dykes, dams, etc) from sea-inundation, i.e. they are dwelling on the shores of the sea. This is the only country in the world where this holds true. In Ancient Times a people recorded by Ptolemy called Sabulingoi dwelt in the region of Northern Holland-Frisia. "Sabulingoi" in Hebrew means "People of Zebulon". Other peoples who settled in the area bore names similar to those of clans of Zebulon (Sered, Elon, Yahleel) recorded in the Bible. Accepting the fact that Zebulon settled in Holland and that many of the Dutch descend from Zebulon entails recognition of their kinfolk (such as the Angles) as being of similar Israelite origin.
Zebulon means "Dwell in Strength"
Holland stretches sea-length
Protected by wall and dam
From Oceanic battering ram,
Against rising sea and flood.
They are of Israelite blood.
Many Living behind the dyke
Guarded from waters' strike.
Dwelling on Shores of the Sea
A people proud and free.
This is the land of Zebulon
Sered, Elon, and Yachli-el
Sea-shores they built on
Living fine and quite well
Scenes of sea and wind-mill
With Stork-bird of long bill
Fields of colored tulip-flowers
Nation of hidden powers
On the Rhine their towers.
In the north the Sabulin-goi
Once laid their national claim
Their children to find fame
With their ports employ
Sailors shouting, Land ahoy!
They sailed over the seas
Both to rule and appease.
With the Jews in Amsterdam

Praying in Synagogue chant
Fellow Children of Abraham.
Ships in port of Rotterdam
Speakers of Puritan cant
Preachers of Gospel rant
In Frisia they saved Jews
From German Nazi claws.
Belief in a common cause
Of Bible and Torah Laws.
Sailors drinking booze
Children in wooden shoes.
This is all the Netherland
Founded on sea and sand.
From here went the Boers
To the Land of Kruger Rand
South Africa they did found
To keep their Ancestral Lores
Ever Faithful without pause.
To work and till the ground.
HaShem be with Zebulon
Let us all try to get along.
Psalm to sing as with song.
The Almighty depend upon.
For Redemtion we all long.
28. Hebrew Nations
Israel is in the center
Tribes are in the West
Joseph is blest
All World gates enter
The very best.
In the far north
Warriors spring forth.
Ends of the earth
Sweden and Denmark
Prove their worth.
To Brit-Am they hark.
Finland and Norway
Canada and the USA
Have their say.
Ireland and Australia
No loss nor failure
South Africa as well
New Zealand is swell.
Zarephath is France
Providence, not Chance!
Britain and Iceland
Belgium and Holland
Numerous as sea-sand
And as stars of sky
To HaShem they cry
Switzerland repents
And her sin laments.
All these do contain
Lost Hebrew Seed.
Virtue yet to attain
Deep Spiritual Need
Torah still to gain.
Zion is their desire
Souls will be on fire.
With Judah to unite
Heathens to fight.

Background:
The Biblical Book of Obadiah describes Joseph and Judah defeating
Edom
AND THE HOUSE OF JACOB SHALL BE A FIRE AND THE HOUSE OF JOSEPH A FLAME AND THE
HOUSE OF ESAU FOR STUBBLE (Obadiah 1;18).
Obadiah continues and describes where the Exile would be located in the End
Times. In effect, he places them in the west, in places such as France, Holland,
and Britain as explained below.
In English the relevant verse is usually mistranslated so that the full
significance of this message is missed. This is how the
KJV
renders it:
AND THE CAPTIVITY OF THIS HOST OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL SHALL POSSESS THAT OF
THE CANAANITES, EVEN UNTO
ZAREPHATH; AND THE CAPTIVITY OF
JERUSALEM, WHICH IS IN SEPHARAD,
SHALL POSSESS THE CITIES OF THE SOUTH [Obadiah 1:20] .
It is IMPORTANT to realize that the words translated in English as "THE
CAPTIVITY OF THIS HOST" in Hebrew are more correctly rendered as THIS FIRST
EXILE meaning the Exile of the Ten Tribes. The Ten Tribes of Israel populated
the northern Kingdom of Israel whose inhabitants were exiled by Assyria. This
was the First Exile. The Exiles in part were taken by ship to the west and in
part overland to Assyria wherefrom they moved northwards and from there to the
west.
According to the Commentators, in the above verse Canaanites
means Germany or the Netherlands,
Zarephath
means France, or France and Britain, or France and the region to the north of
France, or all of the said areas together.
Sepharad
means Spain. The verse should be rendered from the Hebrew original and in
accordance with the Major Commentators as the following:
[Obadiah 1:20]
AND THIS FIRST EXILE OF THE TEN TRIBES OF ISRAEL [Rashi]
WHO DWELL FROM GERMANY [=CANAANITES,
Iben
Ezra] AND HOLLAND [Jewish sources quoted by Calvin], EVEN UNTO FRANCE [=ZAREPHATH,
Rashi,
Iben
Ezra, Radak,
Abarbanel,
Daat
Sofrim]
AND ENGLAND [= ZAREPHATH,
Abarbanel]
AND THE CAPTIVITY OF THE JEWS OF JERUSALEM IN SPAIN [=SEPHARAD,
Targum
Yehonatan]
SHALL POSSESS THE CITIES OF THE SOUTH.
Taking the Classical Commentators as a whole we see that the Lost
Ten Tribes were considered to be in the west, especially in France and Britain.
According to the Geneva Bible of Calvin on Obadiah 1:20:
"By the Canaanites, the Jews mean the Dutchmen, and by
Zarephath,
France, and by Sepharad,
Spain."
At all events Zarephath
meant France (Rashi)
and the north or France and Britain (Abarbanel)
together. The verse was understood as saying that the Lost Ten tribes were in
Zarephath
(Rashi,
Nachmanides).
Nachmanides
took Zaraphath
to mean the far north in general. Some say
Zaraphath
applied only to the north of France. Another source could indicate that
Zaraphath
belongs to Edom and the Israelites are a minority element.

justifications for the identifications made.

Zaraphath
The First Exile was of the Tribal Ten
Their faith in idols shown to be void,
Their land conquered, cities destroyed
Israel was separated from Judah then.
Some were taken to Assyria overland
Others were sent by ship to the west
Destined to fulfill a role God had planned
They would become the world best.
From different directions converged
Uprooted, migrating, moving, hordes
Until as whole nations they emerged.
All this is told in historical records.
ZAREPHATH is the name for France
Divine Providence, - not mere chance.
Abarbanel says it is England too
Holland, the Rabbis told John Calvin
Dutch dykes and Ocean Seas of blue.
In Warfare Israel would always win
Against Edom and heathen host.
Says Obadiah in Bible Prediction.
Joseph would be worth the most.
This is the truth, not mere fiction.
