1. Hosea 7  Upgraded
http://britam.org/hosea7.html
Summary:
Corruption amongst the leadership and connivance at violence and robbery bring about the downfall of Ephraim. The leaders are betrayed by their followers who lay in wait for an opportune moment to betray them. Ephraim will assimilate amongst the Gentiles. He will loose his strength and be betrayed by the foreign allies he trusted in. Despite being visited by calamities Ephraim does not repent. The exile of the Ten Tribes and an outline of why they are to be identified as part of the Cimmerian, Scythian, and Gothic coalition is given.

2. Charlotte Mecklenburg: "an actual, natural people"
Subject: Re: "Brit-Am Now"-1061

Dear Yair,
At one time I thought what difference does it make if we know whether a person is a descendant of one of the 12 sons of Jacob. But his year I noticed it more when I read that Ezekiel passage even though I had noticed when I did a concordance search and found that as far as inheritance is concerned the land was always designated with Jacob.  Israel would come to the land but with Jacob the one always mentioned in juxtaposition with promised inheritance and land. This shows that the natural man with his genes counts as something in God's sight.  In Ezekiel 11:14 the Lord says "Mortal, [I will save] your brothers, your brothers, the men of your kindred, all of that very House of Israel ?" He was speaking of an actual, natural people here that he would save so that he would have a whole House of Israel.

God doesn't like borders removed and he doesn't like others inheriting something he promised to a particular person or people. He made laws so that inheritance would stay in families. He keeps his promises and he also promises to allow others to join those who inherit the land but he must see that what he promised to the original people goes to them. Now Ezekiel shows new borders but it is all equally divided. Probably the new borders denote what God's original plan was to begin with.

People in the world who mock God are always presenting cases against him. They question his word continuously, so I believe God will be legally right, right down to the jot and title of his word. In time maybe through the DNA studies or some unknown means at the time he will prove that those people who are physically descended from the 12 sons have been brought back. It doesn't matter that lines are all mixed there is only one father to each person and through the father's YDNA there is only one place it has come from and therefore regardless of who has married what, the bloodline from the father will remain the same and come directly from someone who is either a father of one of the sons or some other ethnicity.  But it is complicated too, because only a remnant will come who can pass under the rod.  There will be no proud, arrogant pushy sheep in the bunch.

God has a place in his Kingdom for every person who loves him. No one will be left out even if it means only occasional visits to Israel, all will be happy with their position that he assigns them. I have met wonderful people who are not concerned or ever think of Israel. They are neither opposed or for. They just don't see themselves fitting in anyway to what is going on in Israel. It is hard for me to imagine but God has made all kinds of people and situations.

re: Brit-Am Now - 1062.
What Michelle has written makes sense at least to me.

Another possible consideration here is that within the account of the Exodus, many other people left with the Israelites - Ex 12:38.  They were not Jewish or of the tribes, but they recognized a God of Worth and desired to belong to Him.  Having made this choice, they became His as did Rahab and Ruth.

Is this also not part of the message?  Gentiles can do likewise if they choose to.  But it is a heart thing first and foremost, even for the children of Jacob.

Regards
Malcolm Osborne
