"KHAZARS
Israelite Tribes in Exile Pre-Publication Offer http://britam.org/books.html Click Here |
We have a few supporters from Germany who evidently are Israelites
though most Germans are not.
There was a difference between the Germans of Germany and those who came to the
USA.
This is discussed in our book
"Joseph - The Israelite Destiny of America"
http://britam.org/bkjoseph.html
As for Conspiracy Theories it is complicated.
For all we know there may have been some kind of government cognizance of 9/11.
Maybe they knew something about it. ignored the information, and now are ashamed
to admit it?
Similar things have happened.
There is nothing wrong with being curious about such matter and reading into
them.
Nevertheless in very many cases (nearly all of them) such innocuous and even
necessary "conspiracy"
investigation leads one into "Conspiracy Theories" that are false, evil,
anti-American, anti-British,
anti-Jewish, and anti-Bible.
It is as if there exists a de-facto "conspiracy" to hijack legitimate (and often
necessary) anti-establishment investigation
into the realms of darkness and mental sickness.
Brit-Am campaigned against Conspiracy Theories and their Antinomian agendas.

We may have exaggerated in this matter at times and made mistakes.
We lost supporters because of it and could have avoided it.
Nevertheless on the whole we were correct in what we did and it is something we
can be proud of.
Dear Yair,
I have looked over many sources but I can not find a reliable list of the names of the ten lost tribes. As you know Shimon was not in the North and Benjamin stayed with Judah. Levi also more or less went to Judah after Yeruvam became king of the Northern tribes. He never had sovereignty over more than nine tribes which were eventually captured and dispersed by Assyrians. Therefore can you give me a list of the 10 lost tribes to which your site makes reference. Thank you. Avi Weinstien
Shalom,
I saw modern scholars dealing with this problem. One wanted to suggest the
Gilead of Manasseh had been related to as a Tribe in its own right!
We however have a different explanation.
There were in effect 13 Tribes since Joseph was split into Ephraim and Manasseh.
A quorum of TWELVE however is always maintained by not counting Levi (who was
scattered amongst the others), or Simeon (who at one stage was subsumed
under Judah), or by counting Ephraim and Manasseh together as the one Tribe of
"Joseph".

#1. Twelve Tribes or Thirteen and the Universe
When the northern Tribes of "Israel" separated from "Judah" Benjamin stayed with
Judah.
[1-Kings 12:21] AND WHEN REHOBOAM WAS COME TO JERUSALEM, HE ASSEMBLED ALL THE
HOUSE OF JUDAH, WITH THE TRIBE OF BENJAMIN

(4) Some Tribal Interrelationships:
Judah and Benjamin
Simeon and Manasseh
The Tribe of Levi had been scattered throughout Israel but later all the
Levites moved to Judah (2-Chronicles 11:14):
[2-Chronicles 11:14] FOR THE LEVITES LEFT THEIR SUBURBS AND THEIR POSSESSION,
AND CAME TO JUDAH AND JERUSALEM: FOR JEROBOAM AND HIS SONS HAD CAST THEM OFF
FROM EXECUTING THE PRIEST'S OFFICE UNTO THE LORD:
[1-Kings 11:31] AND HE SAID TO JEROBOAM, TAKE THEE TEN PIECES: FOR THUS SAITH
THE LORD, THE GOD OF ISRAEL, BEHOLD, I WILL REND THE KINGDOM OUT OF THE HAND OF
SOLOMON, AND WILL GIVE TEN TRIBES TO THEE:
In the census lists of Ezra and Nehemiah of "Jews" who returned from Babylonian
Exile only people from the Tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi are recalled.
Nevertheless the present-day "Jews" do include representative minorities of ALL
Twelve Tribes, as explained elsewhere.
Jeroboam was promised that he would be given Ten Tribes:
[1-Kings 11:31] AND HE SAID TO JEROBOAM, TAKE THEE TEN PIECES: FOR THUS SAITH
THE LORD, THE GOD OF ISRAEL, BEHOLD, I WILL REND THE KINGDOM OUT OF THE HAND OF
SOLOMON, AND WILL GIVE TEN TRIBES TO THEE:
In order to get Ten Tribes we would need to include Simeon amongst them.
Simeon is spoken of as having shared the fate of the Lost Ten Tribes who were
exiled:
"And so he did in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even unto
Naphtali, with their ruins [Hebrew: "Charvotayhem"] round about" (2-Chronicles
34:6).
Simeon was in the south and apparently in the region of Judah.
See however our article on Simeon
http://britam.org/simeon.html
As well as
See notes on:
Kuntillet
Ajrud
http://britam.org/ezekiel/chapter8.html
From these articles you will see that part of Simeon was east of the Jordan
and/or to the north.
In addition Simeon to the south of Judah was in some way
actually subservient to northern
Israel and exiled as part of the Ten Tribes.
Our proofs include Biblical Passages, Midrashim and Archaeological evidence.
Later we find a substantial element from Simeon amongst the Khazars
as explained in our forthcoming work on the subject:
KHAZARS.
Israelite Tribes in Exile
http://www.britam.org/Khazarbook.html
The "Ten Tribes" therefore comprise:
Ephraim
Manasseh
Reuben
Simeon
Issachar
Zebulon
Gad
Asher
Dan
Naphtali
In addition amongst the "Ten Tribes" we sometimes find contingents from Judah,
Benjamin, and Levi
that separated from "Judah".
There is another supposition that the conversion of local inhabitants of Crimea to Karaism occurred not in Khazar times, but later, during or after the Mongol rule, under the influence of the newcomers from Byzantium. This could explain the Turkish language of the local Karaites, their Tatar appearance and way of life, and the political independence of the Karaites of Chufut-Kale. However, the genetic studies, point to their Khazar origin. Today Turkic Karaims are nearly all from Crimea. Over the years, they moved and settled in Lithuania, Poland, other parts of Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, Israel, France, and the United States. It is assumed that the number of Karaims in the world is less than 5,000 today.
The Khazars were numerous and rich. Their main activities were agriculture and fishing as well as husbandry. Vineyards and orchards were kept by every Khazarian clan. All this points out that the Khazars inhabited not the dry steppes, but the banks of the channels of the Volga delta.
