In Hebrew "an" also means "there" though it is usually given as part of another

3. Adiabene
Adiabene was a province in northern Mesopotamia close to Assyria.
Its monarch converted to Judaism.
The rulers of Adiabene were Scythians and after they converted to Judaism it was Scythian intervention that kept them in  power.
From Adiabene emerged a section of the people later known as the Khazars.
