Israelite Tribes in Exile Pre-Publication Offer http://britam.org/books.html Click Here |
Dear Yair,
I have been reading from your site on an almost daily basis. I have been reading both sides of the argument about who is Ephraim and who is Manassah. I must admit I think I come down on the side of the USA being Ephraim. Maybe I'm biased because I live here and my paternal ancestor also fought for its independence. Actually, because my ancestry spans both countries incl contributory roles towards the making of both countries, it has been a challenge to determine where I exactly stand with this in a historical context. I do think that the argument that one country is one tribe over another is a bit academic as both countries, incl all of the former British colonies have Ephraim and Manassah intermixed within them. But I do think of England as one nation with sovereignty issues, etc, whereas I think of the United States more as an idea, an experiment, or a land of opportunity. And in this light and it fits more like a company (or home) of nations. We even hand out loans and homes to illegal residents!! Of course, now the economies of the world are tanking because of this foolishness. Isn't our excessive living and thinking here yet another sign of Ephraim?
But I won't say anymore until I read your books on the matter. I consider you to be the authority on the topic. You've definitely inspired me with your writings and web site. I do believe a separation of God's people is happening right before our very eyes. It's rather exciting, but a bit scary too. I hope with you for the day that Joseph and Judah rejoin as one, and Israel is restored. I keep thinking that if we can just grab hold of the fact that everything is about Him, and not about us, the answer will eventually come. The endgame is: "And I will be their God, and They Shall be my People." And yet it's still about Him. Like it or not we worship a jealous God. I rather like it myself. I've been lonely before and I've been down and out, and I definitely prefer this better. I recently found that God once changed his mind when dealing with Jacob in the book of Amos (Amos 7:6). Imagine that, God of the entire Universe, Holy, Righteous, and True, changing his mind over Israel. Go figure!
Well, that's enough out of me.
May God continue to Bless you and the ministry of Brit-Am Israel,
Brian Weston
