Anyone who uses the Internet receives such messages.
The longer you have had the same address the more you receive.
I figure we receive up to a hundred (maybe more) a day.
And possibly another hundred of other types of Spam.
The difference this time is that whoever sent the messages of "Mercy" had by their own admission been farming addresses from those published on our web-site.
As for Spam in general,
most of it is rubbish.
Some is repulsive and highly offensive.
Here and there news and information items have actually proven useful.
2. The Individual CANNOT be Certain!
The Brit-Am Ten Tribes Movement Needs your Psychological and Financial Support.
You will find throughout our teachings and especially in our study of the Torah Portion (Balak, Numbers 22:2-25:9) the importance of ultimate re-unification of Judah and Joseph. That is one of the Three Rs, i.e. Three Major Foundational Principles, of Brit-Am. That is what we work for. Nevertheless, as an individual no-one can be certain that they descend from the Lost Ten Tribes. From Biblical, historical, and related evidence a fair degree of certainty may be attained to in regards to ethnic groups and historical communities amongst Western Peoples. This however is no enough. At least not at present. More research is needed. Even more important than further research is learning the results of existing researches and spreading this knowledge. Let others know about it. Let them consider it, debate it, even attempt to disparage it. Put the information in the public domain and let the public know it is there.
Most of you are fairly well-informed individuals. You have probably noticed that when a new opinion or revolutionary piece of information comes up at first it is greeted with interested skepticism. After that if it stays around and if a need is felt the information is accepted and acted upon. This is the direction the Brit-Am Ten Tribes Movement is attempting to work in.
We need your psychological and financial support.
It should also be pointed out that ultimate unification with Judah and returning to the Land does not mean merging with Judah. Each Tribe will receive its own portion in the Land and everyone will dwell in the tribe they belong to as described in Ezekiel 47.
3. The Importance of Israelite Unity
The Commentary Nativot Shalom (Rabbi Shalom Noach Berezovsky of Slonim 1911-2000):
#HE SAW ISRAEL ABIDING IN HIS TENTS ACCORDING TO THEIR TRIBES; AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD CAME UPON HIM (Numbers 24:2). He [Balaam, the heathen Prophet] saw Israel united, together, dwelling according to their tribes, as one entity with one heart. Obviously he lacked the strength to disconnect them from cleaving to the Almighty. This is as the Righteous Ones tell us that the pathway to loving God is through Love of Israel. Jews [i.e. Israelites in general, ed.] should love each other as it says, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF [Leviticus 19:18]. By Israeli dwelling in unity with love and amity to each other they achieve love of the Almighty. This is the strength that binds the Jew to God Almighty!...Even after the MOST SERIOUS OF TRANGRESSIONS the Israelites have the option of purification through connecting to the source of purity by uniting together?#
