Subject: Re: Brit-Am Now"-581

We currently use maps which are divided up into little boxes called grids. These grid references are used to navigate using GPS or an old magnetic compass. I used the term British grid system since my first study of the old grid was done locally, then nationaly, then world wide.

I have only built up a view of some of the routes previously used, which appeared to coincide with routes from the holy land extending out, but I have not had time to see if any one else has studied this apparently pre-historic method of navigation.

Of course, like the mountains of other historical documentation hidden from the public eyes, it may be well documented somewhere. I know that from a man such as I who occasionally slavers nonsense, which is as hard to make sense out of as the Faeries - you might wonder.

Mind you, the Faeries played about with maps too. Measure what they did on the Faery Isle of Skye with the distances from Uig to Portree to Dunvegan - you will see a perfect triangle with Treas---- in the middle.

Another thing I don't know, but I'm sure you must, the Cananite flat stone circles- related to the standing ones over here?

I was born in Australia and grew up in a country town. When I was
young I went with my father to visit the Museum in Melbourne.
In the Museum is a replica of a very large boulder the original prototype of which
was composed almost entirely of pure gold.
It was found in Ballarat in the northern section of the State of Victoria.
Ballarat was the scene of a gold rush that followed on from the gold rush in
California and brought numerous people to Australia.
Ballarat was built around gold prospecting and in the early days nearly everyone
there was involved in searching for gold.
The story goes that one day a man was walking down the main street of Ballarat
when he tripped over a rock. Irritated, he reached down to remove the rock and with some effort
jerked out of the ground the largest gold nugget ever found in history.

The moral of this story is:

From Brit-Am: WHAT YOU CAN DO

Beginning from the 15th of August (Monday) and following through during the week
Israeli soldiers and police forces will proceed to evict from the southwest portion of Judah
(Gaza area) about 9000 Jewish settlers and another
3,000 to 6,000 sympathizers who have succeeded in joining them. This will be accompanied by disturbances throughout the country
and followed by the destruction of settlements in the North Samaria area and the eviction of their Jewish inhabitants..

All this will lead to a strengthening of terrorist organizations
that will have established an infrastructure to employ against the remaining Jewish (and Druze) inhabitants
of Israel and ALSO the rest of the world.

The situation is possibly even worse than I have described it.
If anything what I have said above may well be an understatement.

The Israeli Government is carrying out these actions for a number of reasons
but the deciding factor appears to be the insistence of the present US administration
that such steps be taken.

Subscribers to this list believe in God, in the Bible, in prayer and in action.

The plan has not yet gone into effect and may yet be annulled.
Miracles still happen.

One way in which changes could take place could be through the US authorities
telling the Israeli Government to call the operation off.

The US authorities are not bad people. Many of them are of Israelite origin,
some believe in the Bible. Some genuinely feel they have been doing the right thing.
They can yet change their minds.
They have probably all heard all the arguments that can be put forth against the evil proposal
that is in progress. They may well know them better than us.

Nevertheless, you never know.
Opinions can have an effect.
It is worth trying.

We suggest that every one of us send a letter (preferably by fax or e-mail) to somebody they know who may do something or know others
who can do something, e.g. your local legislative representative, newspaper editor, radio commentator, etc.
It is late in  the day but not the end of it.

IN view of the demonstrations, marches, blocking of traffic, etc that other people
are talking of carrying out our own suggestion of sending letters to people
who by now may have  received tons of letters seems almost laughable.
This is not so.
It can still work.
It is worth trying.

The following letter is a suggest outline that you may use for this purpose.
The outline may be changed, elaborated upon, improved etc or sent as it is.

This is an example of the kind of letter we suggest that you send:

Dear Sir,
The Israeli Government is about to expel numerous Jewish families from a portion of the Land of Israel
and to destroy their settlements.  This action will lead to violence and heartbreak and encourage terrorism not only against
the citizens of Israel but also against the rest of the Western World.
It also is against the Bible and Biblical values upon which our own civilization
is founded.
The Israeli Government is carrying out this action largely due to pressure from the US and the
rest of the world.
This is not just. We do not want our governments to be responsible in any way whatsoever for such a crime.
The action could in fact well be reversed if our own governments would inform the Israeli government that it is
against such measures.
All that is good in our world today derives from the Bible.
We  must not debase Biblical injunctions and values.
Please do what you can to inform those responsible that we wish the situation to be reversed
and for the expulsions to be cancelled.
God bless you

Shalom Yair,

In response to your email, I have today sent the following email to President George Bush. I have also sent it to my entire Congressional Delegation from South Dakota. I hope many others Americans will also express their concerns on this matter. You may post my email to the Britam list if you wish.

Subject: Concerns about the USA's Israeli-Palestinian policy

Dear President Bush:

I am respectfully emailing you to express my deep concerns about the current US policy to pressure the Israeli government to give back Gaza and the West Bank to the Palestinians without the Palestinians having to offer anything meaningful in return for major Israeli concessions. Internet media widely report that your administration is pressuring the Israelis to make territorial withdrawals without the Israelis receiving anything in return.

My concerns, outlined below, are threefold: this withdrawal policy (A) encourages and emboldens terrorism, (B) makes a nuclear war more likely in the Mideast, and (C) poses severe risks for the Republican Party. I hope you will consider these factors in your decision-making process. I have traveled in both Israel and the Palestinian West Bank so my comments are based on personal observation as well.

(A) The withdrawal policy emboldens terrorists because they perceive (rightly) that their terrorist actions vs. the Israelis have forced the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. This will beget and invite more terrorism. Because the US Government is pressuring the Israelis to make these unilateral concessions, it also sends a strong message to the terrorists that the USA is not really serious about its war against terrorism. If the USA was serious about its war vs.terrorism, it would pressure the Palestinians to make major concessions to the Israelis. That the USA is forcing the Israelis to reward terrorism also encourages the Iranian government to believe the USA is not really serious about demanding the Iranians stop their nuclear programs. Rewarding terrorism by the Palestinians invites terrorists to make further attacks vs. not only Israel, but the USA as well.

(B) After withdrawing from Gaza and perhaps much of the West Bank, the Israelis will have no territorial depth left with which to absorb an initial attack by conventional means. If faced with an existential threat from such an attack, the Israelis will have no choice but to quickly resort to nuclear weapons. If this occurs, several Islamic nations are likely to be annihilated and major oil producing regions will be highly radioactive for at least a generation. Is it not better to have Israel retain Gaza and the West Bank to allow the Israelis the option of defense in depth for conventional warfare instead of compelling the Israelis to give up essential territory and make nuclear warfare more likely?

(C) As I'm sure you and your staff know, a very large percentage of the GOP's voting base among Christian conservatives is very strongly pro-Israel. If the US-imposed Israeli withdrawal policy goes badly with increased terrorism or a major war occurs in the aftermath of the pullout, the GOP will be severely punished in future US elections as GOP Christian conservatives will lose enthusiasm for GOP candidates. Pressuring the Israelis to make risky, major concessions to the Palestinians is also a very risky policy for the GOP.

As mentioned above, I have been in both Israel and the Palestinian West Bank. I have interacted with both Israelis and Palestinians. It is very clear to me that the Israelis are America's friends and the Palestinians hate the USA (they celebrated when America was attacked on 9/11).  It makes little sense for the USA to punish our friends and reward our enemies.

Sincerely,

Steven M. Collins

Dear Yair
Yes, it is very late in the day, and I too pray for a miracle.  It is a pity
we did not start sending out these emails earlier.
Anyway, today I sent the message below to Vice President Richard Cheney
(vice.president@whitehouse.gov), based on your example.  Perhaps, if enough
messages get through the system, he and President Bush may begin to grasp
the enormity of the consequences of their actions, and change course.  Even
so, I fear it is all to no avail, and WW3 will take its course, before the
Messiah comes, as prophesied.
May the L-rd protect Israel
Shalom
Paul Leivers

Dear Sir,

The Israeli Government is about to expel numerous Jewish families from a
portion of the Land of Israel and to destroy their settlements.  This action
will lead to violence and heartbreak and encourage terrorism, not only
against the citizens of Israel but also against the rest of the Western
World.  This action is contrary to the Biblical values upon which our
Judeo-Christian civilization is founded.

The Israeli Government is carrying out this action largely due to pressure
from the US.  This is not just; it rewards Islamic terrorism, and will
encourage more.  Israel is the only democratic country in the Middle East.
No Islamic country has ever been democratic (voluntarily - and I refer of
course to Iraq).  Giving in to Islamofascism over Biblical Israel will be
seen as a great weakness on the part of the infidels, and a victory for
Islam.  You will never have peace with them, any more than Byzantium did,
even if it takes 800 years to destroy America.

The US would do well to remember that the reason Christopher Columbus sought
a Western Passage to the East, was because Muslims had by that time invaded
(occupied!) the whole of the Middle East, Eastern Mediterranean, North
Africa, and Northern India etc., and thereby strangled trade with the East.
Millions upon millions of innocent Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists,
Zoroastrians etc., had been murdered or enslaved or raped by Muslims during
that period from the seventh century onwards.  Yes, Palestine was once
Christian, and Egypt, North Africa, Asia Minor, etc.  Make no mistake that
the rise of the West from the time of the Renaissance onwards, was a
temporary setback in this jihad, the Islamists plans for the World.  We must
not underestimate the extent of denial and duplicity in the Islamic World.

The UK and US can be proud that they played a great part in the
re-establishment of Israel in the 20th Century, but each in their way
collapsed in the face of Arab pressure over oil, and betrayed Israel.  First
the British watered down the Balfour Declaration, and greatly reduced the
size of Israel, and then refused to allow Jews to immigrate to Israel during
the rise of the Nazis...  Since 1948, the US has repeatedly pressured Israel
into weakening compromises with their Arab enemies.  It is also worth
bearing in mind that Yasser Arafat's uncle, Haj Muhammed Amin al-Husseini,
who was a murderer, a Nazi and a war criminal, collaborated with Hitler in
the extermination of the Jews.  After the war this evil man was indicted by
Yugoslavia for war crimes, but escaped prosecution, again because the Allies
were afraid of the storm in the Arab world, who considered him a 'war hero'.

The US government should not be responsible in any way whatsoever for
another such crime against the Holy Land of Israel.  The consequences are
dire - a second holocaust - God's wrath.  This action can be reversed if the
US government re-assesses the consequences of this action.  The Arabs in
particular, and Muslims in general will not be satisfied with just Gaza.
Remember, until a nation has embraced Islam, it is legally considered a land
of war (Dar-ul-Harb).  The US is no exception.  Once it has converted to
Islam (or all its citizens have been slaughtered, humiliated, or driven
out), it then becomes a Land of Peace (Dar-us-Salaam).

All that is good in our world today derives from the Bible.  We  must not
debase Biblical injunctions and values.  I pray you will read these words
and at least think about them.

Yours sincerely
Paul Leivers

Yair,
Please know that my prayers and the prayers of my husband ascend Heavenward in your and your family's behalf (especially your son if he tries to remain in Gaza) as well as Jerusalem and all of Israel.  The G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is still faithful even when we are unfaithful.

I proudly wore Orange yesterday.  Probably none in Florida who saw it know what it signifies at this crossroad in the spiritual journey of "Joseph" and "Judah".   I plan to go today and find some orange AND yellow ribbons and bows to place on the lamp post in my front yard and anything else I can find to show our support for Israel.

Bob (my husband-an evangelical minister) and I stand with you all 100% and daily send petitions to our government leaders in Washington, DC and emails to all in our address books urging them..........warning them to support Israel.  G-d will not always hold His patience with USA or the rest of the world when they go against Israel.  It seems each time President Bush does something which is negative toward Israel, some calamity falls upon the USA.  I believe that is G-d warning us.  Pray that Bush can get his head on straight, keep his promises, and start taking a stand for Israel as he stated in the beginning of his presidency.  He has given a lot of lip service in the past but appears to be buckling under the pressure of those who would try to destroy Israel.  I fear for the USA because of this.  Please pray for us too.

Holding you in high esteem for the work you do in trying to bring the Tribes back together through aliyah as well as your research and website and emails.  May G-d pour out His richest blessings on your head.
 In His love,
 ~Annette~

Yair shalom,
The anguish over  D-day has brought the two together, at least for this moment in time,in prayer. Intercessors for America,Christian Friends of Israel, Out of Zion, to name a few groups of "Joseph" are fasting and praying in the nations along with Judah in Israel. Many of Joseph are not yet aware of their origins yet hearts are wrenched over family members unknown.

As an aware Israelite of "Joseph" I am deeply distressed not only over what is happening in Israel but of the role of the US in this  terrible destruction. Having read David Bedein's entire article, followed by the statement made by Pres. Bush...'Gaza pullout will be good for Israel', ...God have mercy on us all.

Believing for a miracle, Diane, CA, USA

The US invasion of Iraq undoubtedly diminished a source of funding and support for enemies of the Jewish state.  In this the US was a blessing to Israel, even if that wasn't the administration's purpose.  But what now, if by controlling Iraqi airspace the US is able to prevent an Israeli pre-emptive strike on Iran's nuclear facilities?  We hope that's not the side the US is taking, but based on what happened in Gaza it's hard to be sure.  As usual, you're on your own.

Yair, as a retired 20 year USAF veteran, I can assure you that Americans with military service behind them and who also care about Israel are absolutely horrified that this debacle, which should more properly be called an "auto-pogrom", is taking place.  Every possible "mistake" that could be made is being made, not only politically but even more importantly, militarily.  One of the first rules of combat is to keep moving forward and to keep taking territory.  As Sun Tzu put it so well, "Build a golden bridge behind your enemy.".  Retreating into a state of siege is suicidal!  Were any American military leader ever make or even suggest making such a move, I can assure you he would be summarily relieved of his command & probably be forced to retire in disgrace either for exhibiting gross incompetence or cowardice under fire.

Things certainly look hopeless from our tiny human perspective but don't forget Who's in charge.
Ha Shem is faithful and true to His word.  He has not forgotten His people.  He only waits for us to return to Him, admitting our brokeness and asking, once again, that He forgive us our arrogance and turn His face toward us for His own name's sake.

I am no geopolitical expert nor am I a prophet but I sense that of all the things Ariel Sharon...has done, perhaps the most important of all is something he never expected.  He has brought together the secular and the believing, Jews and Gentiles, Israelies and lovers of Israel all over the world.  Who else could have accomplished such a thing?!
... I firmly believe that a great sifting has begun.  Great evil will yet arise in the world but, as always, a greater force for good is gathering.

Don't weaken or give in to doubt & fear.
Look up; our redemption draws nigh.

Dear President Bush:
I and my husband have been strong supporters of your Administration. My Son has served active duty during this war on Terror, but I must tell you We are not happy with the pressure this Administration has placed on the Israeli leadership to evacuate the rightful owners to this land. We are not Jewish, but we see the Jewish people as our brothers and Kinsman because We love and Worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We believe what you are doing in Iraq is right, but what you are doing with regard to Israel is totally wrong and sends a wrong message to the Terrorists. I thought  we as a nation were not going to give into the demands of the Terrorists. We are caving into the Main demand of Alqeda, by forcing our greatest ally and friend into a very dangerous situation. You say you are a believer, Well do you believe the Bible? That G-d gave this land to the Jewish people. The boundaries are from Egypt to the Euphrates River. Please rethink and follow your heart and not politics. There is a sleeping Giant in this country-many many Christians who love the Jewish people. Some have voted for you-simply for your support of Israel. Please do the right thing-call this off.

Respectfully,
Mary and Ed Stowell

Dear President Bush:
I am sorry to send this e-mail to you because of the action that is to take place in Israel. I have supported you in your term of office, but this insisting that Israel recognize the Palestinese as a state is the worse thing you have done. This will only lead to more strife in the area, Hammas and those organizations only want to destroy Israel, and this will lead to greater conflict. Israel should have annexed all of the territory when they defeated the Arabs in the several wars they have had. It is a sad day when Israel pulls out with all of the disruption that it is going to cause even in the state of Israel. I wish you would tell Israel to forget about pulling out of Gaza and the West Bank, it is a tragedy that is going to happen. Charles Bassett, Owensboro, Ky.

Dear President Bush & Vice-President Chenney:

My wife and I have been strong supporters of your Administration from the very beginning. We have supported your actions in fighting the war on Terror, but I must tell you We are not happy with the pressure your Administration has placed on the Israeli leadership. Evacuating the rightful owners of this land only to give it to terrorists and enemies of the USA just doesn't make any sense.   We are not Jewish, but we see the Jewish people as our brothers and our Kinsman because We love and Worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We believe what you are doing in Iraq is right, but what you are doing with regard to Israel is totally wrong and sends a mixed and wrong message to the Terrorists. President Bush, you said that we as a nation would not give into the demands of the Terrorists. But you are caving in to one of the main demands of Al-Qaida, by forcing our greatest ally and friend into a very dangerous situation; a situation that I'm sure you would never allow to come to pass in the USA.

You say you are a believer; well, do you really believe the Bible?  G-d gave that land to the Jewish people over 3000 years ago and you think it is ok to make them give it up??  The boundaries according to scripture are from Egypt to the Euphrates River.   You have and are placing our country into the bulls eye of judgement from the Almighty.  Surely this cannot be what you really want.  There are very clear blessings and cursings for nations based on how they treat the land of Israel and it's rightful residents.   American has been blessed over the last 50 years because of our stance on Israel.  Please don't change that now.

I implore you to rethink your decision and follow the path of blessing, not of political correctness; which if not stopped will lead this country ultimately into destruction.  Your constituency is made up of many Christians who love and support the Jewish people. Many of us voted for you simply because of your support of Israel. Please do the right thing-call this off before it is too late.

Respectfully yours,

Michael Walker

Greetings:

I too have contacted both President and Vice President with my concerns and warned of what is to come if this administration continues to pressure Israel to disobey Eternal Sovereign.

May the Mighty One of Battle hear the cries of those around the world and intervene in a mighty way to save Israel once again.

Let us pray with fasting as we have never before. What befalls Israel will be our fate. We cannot allow this to happen without a fight.

Your servant,
Martha McGee,
