There is a growing interest among Catholics to understand the Jewish roots of their faith. Recently a whole class of Catholics studying the Catholic Liturgy attended the Orthodox Synagogue with a priest here in Perth to get more of a idea of the Jewish origins to the Catholic liturgy. The Orthodox Jewish people and the Rabbis made them very welcome.

Yes, there is the special Sabbath Covenant between Israel and her God (Exodus 31:12-18), but perhaps this is no reason to exclude the nations from the blessing of the Sabbath. In the world to come all the nations will be commanded to keep even the Feast of Tabernacles - Zechariah 14:16-19), and the Sabbath was sanctified when Adam was created (Genesis 2:2-3). Upon leaving Egypt Israel was reminded of the Sabbath (Exodus 16) even before receiving the command to remember it (Exodus 20).
Only Israel covenanted with God and only Israel was given the Torah. But does this mean that Israel was not to pass this Torah on to the nations? Moses told the people (Deut 4:5-8), "Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it. Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?" And there is this for the future (Isaiah 2:3; Micah 4:2): "And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem."
And no way can it be said that the Jewish people have not been such a light to the nations. The whole world, for example, is now geared to the Jewish week. The enemies of Israel have tried to abolish it, as in the French and Russian revolutions, but to no avail. Saturday is called Sabbath in most of the world's languages: Arabic: Greek: ; Spanish: s bado; Russian: ; etc. The Christian Sunday and Muslim Friday may be counterfeits of the Jewish Sabbath--but at least their observance has put the whole world on a Jewish pattern of observing time.
Now if the whole world will be keeping the Sabbath in the world to come, then surely Ephraim must begin to get ready to do the same before he is ever grafted back into the Covenant. In fact I think that Isaiah 56, which speaks of the Sabbath, speaks to this very fact. Verse 8 refers to the "outcasts of Israel" which I don't think can refer to the Jewish people as a whole.
Thus I suspect that the various Sabbatarian groups here in America may be pioneers in this regard. I understand that there were some 16 Sabbatarian congregations in London toward the end of the 17th century or at the beginning of the 18th--most ended up in America. I am told that the second American President, John Adams, was a Sabbatarian. Many of those early Sabbatarians rejected the Trinity and any preexistence for Jesus, and there are scattered Sabbatarian groups that still reject these heresies.
Anyway for what it's worth I suggest that acceptance of the Sabbath and rejection of the Trinity will play a central role in the return of Ephraim, though undoubtedly most of Israel is not quite ready for either at the moment.

I looked and found my name HALE mentioned along with the Halls.
I am tremendously relieved by one observation. I am glad that My Hale
ancestors (through adoption, sadly) were mainly Scottish or English and NOT
IRISH.
I would rather have the name McHale then a name like O'Hale.
Already, my name is used in vain as it is. IN that my mother's name is
Mary, I usually counter rude insults (actually all in fun from the way Hale
is pronounced in Texas...and in Missouri, where I once lived, how they
pronounced the word hell) I usually say they better watch out concerning
someone who the IRS (the US government tyranny experts)refers to as HALE
MARY. Some are relieved to know that my carpenter dad was actually named
Letcher.
However, some are unsettled when I mention that my son Nathan Hale was born
on December 25th. That is one of the reasons I called my son Nathan which
in Hebrew is "gift" or in his full name Nathaniel, "Gift of God."
I am so appreciative of the concern folk have over my welfare because if the
plane is about to crash, a boat sinks, a building burns, or we need to seek
shelter from a barrage of artillery, someone is bound to say, "Let's get
the Hale outta here."

Hello Yair, this is a good idea. I think adding Psalm 80 to our morning (and evening?) prayers is a good way to focus our minds and hearts on the return of the tribes. Events in HaShem's world can occur with unexpected speed, as evidenced by the establishment of the Sanhedrin and now just a year later the Noahide Council of six that is to be ordained in January, so we all need to be ready when the time comes.
