An article has been uploaded to our site concerning conversion to Judaism and its pertinence to Lost Israelite studies.
Brit-Am does neither encourages nor discourages conversion
but it is a phenomenon pertinent to our studies and field of interest.
The word for convert in Hebrew is ger. This word literally means, sojourner. It could be applied to a stranger who came to attach himself to Israel or to anyone (including an Israelite) who did not originally belong to the local community but had come to live amongst them. Such people did not have local family, relatives, and acquaintances. They were especially vulnerable and susceptible to exploitation. The Torah therefore in thirty-six places warned the Israelites to treat the foreign sojourner fairly.
And if a stranger sojourn with you in your land, you shall not vex him.
But the stranger that dwells with you shall be unto you as one one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself (Leviticus 19; 33-34).
All the tribes of Israel as one body received the commandments at Mount Sinai. In a sense they then all became converts.

[Exod 19:6] And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

[Exod 19:7] And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.

[Exod 19:8] And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

[Exod 19:9] And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee forever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.
It was said that the people would believe forever. In some sense there exists an inherent instinctual desire in the hearts of those of Israelite descent to believe in the Bible.

[Deut 5:2] The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

[Deut 5:3] The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

[Deut 5:4] The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire.

It is not that one is born believing but at least one remains open to this belief. This does not apply to every Israelite but it is a tendency. Most people of Israelite descent want to believe in the Bible but they also have their own lusts and weaknesses. In order to justify submission to these other forces grounds for disbelief are then sought after. This is as if one takes a bribe to deny the truth in order not to cope with the inner conflict that results.

[Exod 23:8] And thou shalt take no gift [Hebrew: shochad translated as gift in the KJ but actually meaning, bribe] for the bribe blinds the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous.

After many generations of estrangement it is logical that a Renewal of the Covenant should be required.
How and when this will be effected is not our concern
neither is it what we are promoting.
The three Rs (Research, Revelation, Reconciliation)
of Brit-Am remain what we are about
and we do not wish to go beyond that.
May God bless all of you and all the peoples of Israel.

3. The Israelite Identity of the English: How Much Did The Russians Know?
The last Czar of Russia identified the English as physically belonging to the same race as the Jews but for him this was an insult. He hated them both. <<An Englishman", he liked to repeat, "is a Zhid.>
The English he [Nicholas] called Yids, Witte.
The anti-Semite Hippolyte Lyutostansky influenced Nicholas-II.
He said: The English are pure-blooded IsraelitesThe clearest characteristics of the Israelites are well known all over the world and the same characteristics are to be found in the English peoplethe universal business greed of the English people, their political greed.
In July 1905 Nicholas and Wilhelm-II of Germany signed a treaty versus the Jews. They eventually however went to war with each other against their will. Both Germany and Russia still endanger Israelite Tribes.

5. Canaanite-Religion in Scandinavia: Brought by Israelites?
Note: The Northern Israelites were exiled for worshipping idols and going in the
ways of the nations around them (2-Kings ch.17) who were Canaanites and other
Ancient Middle East peoples.
Just because they were exiled does not mean they immediately repented. On the contrary
there are indications that they got worse in addition to be being forced to accept  pagan practices
from the Assyrians and company who had exiled them.

We have earlier discussed old Nordic religion and its origin.

We find Middle East and Canaanite aspects (alongside Hebraic characteristics)
in the Druid relgion of the Western "Celts"
and also in Scandinavia. This is evidence of their Israelite origin
when considered alongside other factors.
