1. Lorraine Harvey: Commentary on Australia is Accurate
From: Lorraine Harvey <ljoy@dodo.com.au>
Subject: Re: "Brit-Am Now"-698

Dear Yair,

Thankyou for the work you have done on Sinim/Australia. I love the pictures
and the poem which is one of my favourites since a child. Although I am a
bit wary of the codes ( I have not had time to study this closely as yet)
your commentary on Australia is accurate. You have honoured Australians by
telling of our part in the 1st world war re the charge of the Light brigade,
the taking of the wells at Beersheva and then taking back Yerusalem from the
Turks/Austrian armies. Not many people know what we did, particularly
America, and as you know we are not a nation that blows our own trumpet.

I think you have gone a long way to bolster Australian's self esteem. For we
have been a country that only in the last 30yrs have begun to figure out our
identity as a nation.

Did Reuben come as older brother to lead Joseph in the charge?

For you may also be interested to know that a French Huguenot decendant
General Harry Chavel was the Australian Commander of the Light Horse in
Israel and selected the 4th regiment from Victoria and the 12th regiment
from NSW to take the famous Light Horse charge for the wells of Beersheva.

Kind regards,

Lorraine Harvey Australia

2. Quail or Chickens?

Dear Yair:

My simple explanation to the identity of the quail may be met with some
hoots.  But wouldn't these flightless birds, just be the ordinary
chicken rather than some exotic bird in a far-flung part of the world?

Jay

Answer:
Shalom,
The Bible tells us that the people wanted to eat meat.
A vast flock of birds called "slavim" in Hebrew came down overnight on the ground
and the people were enabled to simply go out and pick up as many of them as they wished.
The "slavim" (singular: "slav") has been translated as quails and "slav" is the word at present used
in Hebrew for "quail".

[Numbers 11:30] AND MOSES GAT HIM INTO THE CAMP, HE AND THE ELDERS OF ISRAEL.

[Numbers 11:31] AND THERE WENT FORTH A WIND FROM THE LORD, AND BROUGHT QUAILS FROM THE SEA, AND LET THEM FALL BY THE CAMP, AS IT WERE A DAY'S JOURNEY ON THIS SIDE, AND AS IT WERE A DAY'S JOURNEY ON THE OTHER SIDE, ROUND ABOUT THE CAMP, AND AS IT WERE TWO CUBITS HIGH UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH.

[Numbers 11:32] AND THE PEOPLE STOOD UP ALL THAT DAY, AND ALL THAT NIGHT, AND ALL THE NEXT DAY, AND THEY GATHERED THE QUAILS: HE THAT GATHERED LEAST GATHERED TEN HOMERS: AND THEY  SPREAD THEM ALL ABROAD FOR THEMSELVES ROUND ABOUT THE CAMP.

The phenomenon described is similar to that experienced with quail albeit to
a much greater magnitude:

The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia

QUAIL
<<kwal (selaw; ortugometra; Latin Coturnix vulgaris):

<<A game bird of the family Coturnix, closely related to "partridges" ....In Palestine they were migratory. They are first mentioned in Exodus 16:13: "And it came to pass at even, that the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the camp." This describes a large flock in migration, so that they passed as a cloud. Numbers 11:31-33....

<<Commentators have had trouble with the above references. They cause the natural historian none--they are so in keeping with the location and the laws of Nature. First the Hebrew selaw means "to be fat." That would be precisely the condition of the quail after a winter of feeding in the South. The time was early spring, our April, and the quail were flocking from Africa and spreading in clouds--even to Europe. They were birds of earth, heavy feeders and of plump, full body. Migration was such an effort that when forced to cross a large body of water they always waited until the wind blew in the direction of their course, lest they tire and fall. Their average was about 16 birds to each nest. If half a brood escaped, they yet multiplied in such numbers as easily to form clouds in migration. Pliny writes of their coming into Italy in such numbers, and so exhausted with their long flight, that if they sighted a sailing vessel they settled upon it by hundreds and in such numbers as to sink it. >>

According to the simple meaning of the text (that we generally prefer) the birds were quail or something similar.

We are however SEARCHING for some common denominator with the word "SINIM" that we have found encrypted in the passage for quail.
What was unique about these birds?
They could not fly due to exhaustion or for some other reason.
We have already been led by other evidence to identify SINIM with Australia and New Zealand.
This means that "SINIM" can refer Australia and New Zealand or either one or the other
depending on the context.
We do find that New Zealand is uniquely characterized
by the fact that one-third of its birds could not fly.
This is what would connect New Zealand to the description of the "quail" and it is where we find
the word SINIM and so is further justification for us to identify SINIM with Australia and New Zealand.

Britain according to the Brit-Am Bible Codes Examination
shows a connection with Ephraim.
Other connections include Britain and Abraham, Britain and Israel,
Britain and Asher (North England and Scotland).
There is a repeated and frequent linkage with the Isles of the Sea.
WE DO NOT obtain similar results for any other entries!
