1. Question: What
are the needs of Brit-Am?
"Sam" wrote:
Shalom,
I have a question do you get 4 or 5 copies of the magazine for $ 40 ? I have seen 4 copies and another link 5?
Is "The Tribes" out of stock?
It is OK if it is because their plenty of other books that I can get but my hubby really would like 'The Tribes' and if it is out of stock can you email me and let me know when you have that book again?
On to another question just something that I was wondering lately what is Brit-Am goal or plans would be if Brit-Am had the funding it needed to really get off the ground? I guess in other woulds what would you like to see for Brit-Am in the future If Brit-Am had the money? Oh their nothing wrong with asking for money either because no religion, organization or business would survive without money and that why Bnei Menahe which I don't believe are but anyway return and no one here did and not saying that what Brit-Am purposes but just something to think about because we could all give more.
Oh and please don't use my real name and email if you post this and we just call me by my nick name that my father gave to me which is Sam.
Blessings,
Sam
Answers:
Subscription to our magazine is
4 copies for $40
12 issues $80
20 issues for $120
Those who subscribed for the earlier offer of 5 issues are registered for 5
issues and will receive them.
"The Tribes" is NOT out of stock.
Just the opposite. We have plenty left.
What if Brit-Am had the Funding?
First of all Brit-Am needs money at present just to maintain present levels of
activity.
Paying debts already incurred, on-going researches (which are very important and
do require money!
we see an importance in research and eventually breaking through to academic
consciousness),
time and resources needed to upgrade website, e-mail discussions, Bible Studies,
etc,
and publications where possible.
If we had more funding
we would, according to the following order of priority:
a. Round off and somewhat upgrade present activities, paying debts, and
improving certain features
for the good of everyone.
b. Increase publications possibly offering more for less.
c. Radio Broadcasts
d. Hebrew-Language division: This is already in the works
and eventually will go ahead but more funds could speed up the process.
e. Advertising in the Jewish and non-Jewish Press and relevant publications.
Some of these activities if done properly would in themselves engender
additional funding
and so enable their own continuation.

some interesting new pictures
The Ancient Egyptians included both moderately light colored types
as well as some very dark ones.
As for their features they could fit anyone.
Some of them remind me of my schoolteachers
back in the childhood days of Sunny Australia!
The comparison might be unfair but it does a sense of reality to the idea
of Egyptian Oppression! (I jest, in part).

3. Timothy F
Murray: Courage to you
Yair,
Stay the course, please, and keep doing what you do best. That's all I have to
say about recent controversial comments.
On another note, I had a burst of insight the other day regarding your work and
something that has puzzled me about the Scripture for decades. The puzzle has
been, Why does God take such careful historical pains to ensure that so many
genealogies and other unrelated names become part of the eternal, immutable
Word? I can understand His care in recording the line of the Patriarchs and
Kings, but what's so important about all the sub-tribes and clans, I have
wondered?
Then, while reading through The Tribes, I became aware of the painstaking way
you have used those very names to link with various secular sources in
identifying tribal groups from Scythia in the east all the way across Europe and
into the British Isles as descendants of those very clans. You have done
unusual and fascinating work, using those names--work which could not have been
done without their existence in the Word of God.
This answered my wonderments: perhaps the Almighty took such pains to include
all the names of men who otherwise made no direct impact on the story in order
to provide "waymarks" of His own. They certainly do provide clues that don't
exist elsewhere. To my knowledge you are the first (if not the only) to have
made the linkage referred to, and may it bear good fruit!
This inspires worship of a great God, who "watches over His Word to perform it,"
and about whose Word it is said that "The Scripture cannot be broken," and, "No
word from God shall be void of power"-- not even the apparently useless lists of
names.
Courage to you, as you plow faithfully ahead--
Tim Murray

4. Janice: More on
Absolam
Re: 2-Samuel 19:7-10 Rasputin and "Blackbeard"
Taking Absolam for granted.
I think in any family between father and firstborn son; there can be a natural
tension as to who's in charge.
Especially in the years of developing manhood. A wise father understands that
natural tension, and will be very careful how they handle the heart of that
young man through the years of instruction. The father and son should do those
things and speak the words that develops appropriate affection and respect.
If the relationship is not carefully nurtured, the son has a wounded heart that
usually show us as rebellion and the son's style of leadership will be greatly
affected in a negative way. Aboslam was a leader of the rebels.
Joash did put 3 darts to the heart; but it was Abosolam's bitter soul that
killed him. 1) Most likely all the children were aware, that Bathsheba not
their mother was the favorite wife (she had David's heart), that must have been
difficult for all the children; but especially if you are the first born son.
It's extremely important that a child know their fathers love and faithfulness
to their mother is of utmost importance to the health of the child.
2) Tamar leaned on Absolam after her rape, (where there's even a perceived void
in leadership, the vacuum is filled and often by the wrong entity). In
Absolalm's mind, Kind David did not care for Tamar as their was not suffiencet
punishment for his step brother's crime.
3) All males want admiration even from youth. Absolam didn't ever feel he had
his father's admiration.
Josh darts pointed to the wounded bitter heart of David's son; he rendered a
decision. The 10 amor bearers were witnesses for many years of Absolam's open
rebellion and rendered the punishment.
This is reminiscent of at least 2 Torah laws, one of the rebellious son who
strikes a father and/or mother and honor your father and your mother.
Children, sometimes your parents fight many battles to insure your life today
and in your future; be forgiving of their shortcomings and continue to give them
honor and respect; perhaps you are in line for a kingdom.
Shalom
Ms. Jan

5. Cecil Davis:
"Role to Rule"
Dear Yair, 27-August-07
I like the cover of the book and the printing is easy to read. Your coverage of
the United States is very well done; being an American and having a long
military career I have known and experienced personally much of what you have
gleaned from people and their writings.
I have yet to completely read the entire book, but there is a lot of good
information in it for people who are serious about knowing who they are and
where they are God directed to eventually go.
Your friend,
Cecil
