Good Morning Yair,
Thankyou for sending the books. I am especially interested in Orjan Svensson's
"Scandinavian Secrets"
I am a regular reader of the Biblical Archaeology Review, and for some years
have been struck by the similarity between North European Runic and ancient
Hebrew. Many bullae (ancient seals) with Hebrew writing on them have been
uncovered, and these show remarkable similarities to Runic characters.
Likewise, there are extant many orstraca (pottery fargments with writing on
them) showing similar writing.

I have hesitated to mention this to you before because of the fact that
runes seem to have been hijacked by the extreme political right in Europe and
the USA, or eccentric new agers. The fact that Hitler also used them, rather
cynically I believe, to foster his version of German culture among the German
people does not help the situation, but it must be remembered that Hitler's
"Master Of The Runes", Wiligut, developed his own version of Runic and did not
use the traditional ancient Futharks. Could he have manipulated and changed
the originals because he knew the originals had a Hebrew origin ?
While researching this, I came upon the Tobshalem Bulla which can be seen here:

What I find interesting on this bulla is the character second from the right on
the top row. It appears to be a sunwheel, which is also an ancient
scandinavian symbol yet here it is on a Hebrew bulla. Some think that the
sunwheel is the ancient precursor of the Swastika which is a very ancient
religious symbol which Hitler also hijacked for his own purposes and thus
totally demeaned and discredited it. Wouldn't it be nice if Hebrew origins
could be proved for it !

Dear Yair:
Have you heard of this organization, Shavei Israel? Hal Lindsey interviewed
Michael Freund from that organization and although the interview was years ago,
it was aired on TBN last Friday. He and others are trying to name the lost 10
tribes as Indians from India as being descended from the tribe of Mennasah. To
me it is ridiculous to deny ones own eyes when you can see that a person is
obviously not related to a white Jew when he is an Indian and of the Indian
race. That does not mean a person is racist. It is possible that this people
Mr. Freund discovered can trace their religion and tradition back to the Jews
and Jewish practices, but they cannot be related by race. This is frustrating
to me especially because Hal Lindsey was my pastor for many years and I have
tried to talk to him about the lost 10 tribes although I never shared my belief
who the tribes were.

Need for Union
There are some who strongly disagree with my facts about the Ten
losted tribes.
There is no longer a question who the lost ten tribes are,but when and how do
they come in the fullest of Gd.
Some of these donkeys miss use Gd's Words to support their opinions.Such as,
that Israel is only spiritual and not physical people. But,the Torah and Bible
clearly
said that anyone can become a children of Abraham.This does not mean those that
become adopted can do away with Judea or Ephraim.Neither does it mean Gd's
promises are taken away from Judea or Ephraim.
Lo,the sign between Israel and Gd can not be broken.Because Gd's word is sure
and pure. The promise was given for the sons of Abraham,Jacob and Isacc.
Gd's did not say I put a sign between the Adopted children of Israel. But to the
sons of Isreal,an everlasting covenant.The Sabbath which shows Israel their Gd,
The Almighty. And shows Gd's His children by The fouth commandment.
If this covenant be broken then there is no Israel. If we want the Almighty to
bring us to the fullest of His mercy Judea and Ephraim much become one stick.
No gentile no jew but one people with one Gd. The Gd of Abraham,Jacob and Isacc.
For the duty of man is to worship Gd and keep His commandants.

Dear Yair:
I was so happy to receive "Brit-Am Now - 968" because of the information you
gave regarding the "Book of Jasher." I tried reading that book a while back and
felt very uneasy in my spirit as a result. I couldn't understand how this book
could be sited in the Word and yet disturb me so much. I knew something was not
right and I believe I was being shown that "The Book of Jasher" was NOT from
God. I prayed and asked God to show me the truth. Your response to the
Cantankerous Correspondent is an answer to my prayer. Thank you so much.

that attracts the mosquitoes"!
I notice from a message you received and posted in the latest
"britam now" that once again someone is bugging you about Judah and
Edom or whatever (in re Book of Jasher). You must be like a light
that attracts the mosquitoes at night. You have become, 'larger-
than-life'.
It never seems to cross this kind of mind that "there is something
wrong if the whole premise is someone else"- you, or Jews, or
whoever is at the center of the 'controversy'- and all the
detractors are on the outside.
It's like a crowd of unloved children begging for attention, or a
mob with it's face pressed on the glass- outsiders with a very
distorted view of distant and blurred images. The Lord is no
respecter of persons but that's about all many seem to care about-
status, characterization, etc.
Anyway, on a lighter note, I wrote to the one called "James
Radcliffe" (he had been on your case about Edom etc recently),
seeing as how his email was posted on the message. I sent him a
series of questions and biblical quotes that need to
answers/acknowledgements in order to identify Judah, scripturally.
And guess what? He wrote back, very reasonable and apparently
interested by some points that perhaps were new to him... and he
offered to give this all a fair shake, so to speak. That bespeaks
of an Israelite, I think.
So that's progress. A lot of people are looking for knowledge in a
very confusing world so it is incumbent on us to reach out where
possible.
