1. Jews Moving to Germany
From: Joan Griffith
Subject: Re: "Brit-Am Now"-252
Re Craig's comment about Jews moving into Germany. I saw such a news
article, and it seems that the Jews are fleeing persecution in their home
countries, returning to Germany because it seems so safe there due to many
statements by German authorities, apologies for World War II, and many
German universities and museums are featuring Jewish studies in an effort
to reduce the prejudicial hatred.
A friend of mine who is Austrian claims to be a true man of the world,
above prejudice, etc. Yet in the course of one conversation, he suddenly
said, Yes, and why must the Jews think everything was handed to them from
heaven? The Jews claim they invented everything, they began history, they
think (this, that, and the other) -- and by the time he ended his tirade, I
was in fear for myself! So now we know: the "nations" are jealous of the
people of The Book. Yet, can the people of God deny it?
We got on the topic of Jews, by the way, after a discussion of the soccer
game that the Israelis won, but the referee, a fearful Turk, gave it to the
Austrians. Then the Jews called the Austrians Nazi, nazi, nazi, and the
Austrians retorted that all Jews should have gone to the ovens--and both
sides yelled more things at each other. Of course, games seem to bring out
the worst in people, especially European soccer games.

2. Orjan Svensson: Linguistic Point from Swedish
From: Orjan Svensson <orjan.svensson@mbox300.swipnet.se>
Subject: Re: "Brit-Am Now"-252
Shalom,
You write in a recent message:
"The name on the
inscription is actually "NKR" ("Neker"?) but is rendered in Hebrew as
"NeTSeR". Shmuel Achitov (from whose article our information has been
taken) explains that the Inscription is written in a regional dialect close
to Hebrew but influenced by Aramaic influences, the most important of which
is the switch from the Proto-Semite "TS" to "K". Thus "Kaben" (with a "K"
in the Inscription) is translated into regular Hebrew as "TSuebeim",
"Kaken" = "TSukah" (in Hebrew), NKR = "NeTSeR", and so on, with "K" being
transliterated into Hebrew as "TS"."
I find it quite interesting that a similar phenomenon can be seen in
Scandinavian
language.
For example the word "kora" (= "to drive") is spelled with a K in both
Swedish and Danish, but in Swedish it is pronounced like "shoera", in Danish it
is pronounced "koere" and in southern Swedish dialect where I live
it is pronounced "tshera".
This is also analoguous to my interpretation of the placename Tjurko (a name of
an island pronounced
"tshurkoe") where I say that "tshurk" is the same as the Aramaic word "kurkja"
which means "crane". This is a very feasible explanation of the name, since
the neighbouring island is called Sturko, meaning "stork island".
The principle of two neighbouring islands having for example bird names or
tree names
can be observed in other places in Swedish archipelagoes as well.

3. Question on DNA findings

Shalom Yair,
I am curious about #2 Jews in Scotland. What is the DNA test about? Is there
a DNA that is specific to Jews??
Also, I have a question about Hebrew and the Celtic language. I am from an
ancient clan whose ancestors are from Persia. The ancient name of the clan
is
In Caimgilla or Kevel. Asperated it becomes Qwevil or Quhele. This name it
is said had religious significance, what that is I do not know yet. The name
then became Gan Quhele. Do you know anyone who is familiar with the gaelic
language who can tell me what these words might mean?
Maggie
Answer: The DNA test in Scotland attempted to trace specific families.
No specific Jewish DNA is known. DNA tests concerning Jewish people on some
points confirm our
findings and on other points appear to contradict them. Our impression is
that on the whole, to the extent that
DNA tests for ethnicity will be reliable, the ultimate conclusions will
confirm Brit-Am findings. We are attempting to
follow the research in question.
As for the question on Gaelic I cannot answer you but some of our
subscribers may be able to do so.

Subject: RE: Jerusalem News-218
Shalom Mr. Davidy,
Baruch Hashem! I am going to commit to pray for you daily. You are
publishing the truth although Jews and Gentiles alike don't want to hear
what you are saying. TRUTH is TRUTH and no matter how you are discounted by
whomever, still you must explore, search, and print the truth.
Shalom, Cindy
5. Biblical Proofs: More on Ends of the Earth
The word used for end or ends in Hebrew in connection with ends of the
earth and Israel is usually "Katseh" or in plural "Kastvot".
This word when connected with the word for "Earth" (Aretz) can be
associated everywhere it appears in the Bible with the Tribes of Israel.
We will devote (God willing) a complete article to this subject in another
forum.
Most nations that contain a significant portion of Israelite descendants
are situated at the "ends of the earth" as mentioned (Deuteronomy 33:17
"afsei-aretz", Isaiah 41:9 "katsvot haaretz", Isaiah 43:6) meaning the
geographical extremities as measured from Jerusalem. This is how it was
prophesied. Most of the "ends of the earth" belong to Israel. North
America, the British Isles, Northwest Europe, Scandinavia, South Africa,
Australia, and New Zealand may all be considered "ends of the earth" and in
these areas most people of Israelite descent from the Ten Tribes are to be
found.
King David in Psalm 61 speaks of crying from the ends of the earth. This
Psalm at first looks like a personal prayer of David himself but it is not
so. David identified completely with Israel. Whatever happened to Israel
was felt by David as if he himself was personally experiencing it. When
David cried for salvation he was viewing Israel in the Latter Times and
crying out on their behalf.
<< FROM THE END OF THE EARTH WILL I CRY UNTO THEE, WHEN MY HEART
IS OVERWHELMED: LEAD ME TO THE ROCK THAT IS HIGHER THAN
I.
<<FOR THOU HAST BEEN A SHELTER FOR ME, AND A STRONG TOWER FROM THE ENEMY>>
[Psalms 61:2-3].
In Isaiah 49:6 the Tribes of Jacob are expressly linked with the ends of
the earth.
[Isaiah 49:6] AND HE SAID, IT IS A LIGHT THING THAT THOU SHOULDEST BE MY
SERVANT TO RAISE UP THE TRIBES OF JACOB, AND TO RESTORE THE PRESERVED OF
ISRAEL: I WILL ALSO GIVE THEE FOR A LIGHT TO THE GENTILES, THAT THOU MAYEST
BE MY SALVATION UNTO THE END OF THE EARTH.
The whole of Isaiah 49 speaks of the Lost Ten Tribes as we have explained
elsewhere and as confirmed by the Talmud and Midrash.
Most Brit-Am Lost Israelites are at the ends of the earth and most ends of
the earth belong to Israel.
There are exceptions.
Argentina, and Paraguay in South America with Japan and Siberia are also
"ends of the earth". In Argentina there exists a settlement of Welshmen and
the country was once controlled by British and American investments.
Before the creation of the State of Israel there were once plans to give
the Jews an autonomous region of their own based on agriculture in
Argentina. Jewish migration to that region was encouraged. In the end
nothing came of this plan though the Jewish population in Argentina remains
large. It is highly assimilated, not especially prosperous and subject to
strong anti-Semitic harassment by the local Gentiles.
The predominant non-Israelite population of Argentina is of Spanish and
Italian origin. Immigrants from Germany and their influence is
important. Nazi and Nazi-like outlooks amongst the ruling classes are
strong. The border area between Paraguay and Argentina is dominated by
Nazis and Palestinians and known for drugs and arms traffic. Israelites
should perhaps when opportunity arises take over this region and use it to
resettle the Palestinians.
The nearby Falkland Islands remain British and Britain not so long ago went
to war over them. The Falkland Islands may also be considered the ends of
the earth in this region.
Control of the Antarctic is divided between Britain, Australia, and France.
"Siberia" is not Israelite but Russian. It once enjoyed, in some areas, a
better climate than it has now and Israelite-Scythian tribes were in the
area but later moved west.
Japan is also not Israelite. The Japanese are mainly of a stock related to
the Koreans and northern Chinese. They also contain "Semitic" elements.
Edomites and Moabites may have settled in Japan. In addition, there do
exist some traditions and indications of an ancient Israelite presence in
Japan but these are controversial and at all events apply only to a small
section of the population.
6. Question on Birthday Celebrations
>From: Amy
>Subject: hi
>
>i have a question...no where in scripture does it say we should
>celebrate a birthday....so is it wrong to celebrate a birthday? please
>answer......
Answer:
Nowhere in Scripture does it say that it is wrong to celebrate a birthday.
Anything like this should be considered on its own merits.
Later Jewish tradition says that every year on the birthday date the state
of being of the person is considered anew in heaven. It is therefore
accepted that on this day one should celebrate modestly, feel good, cause
others to feel good, while doing good deeds and making a spiritual
reckoning and giving thanks to the Almighty for the good that had taken
place in our lives.
Maybe every day should be like a little birthday for all of us.
Feel good, make others feel good, do good, and give thanks for the good we
have had.
Blessings,
Amy
7. Note on Identity and Brit-Am
The belief in descent from the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel is found in the
earliest historical sources of Finland, in some of the earliest historical
works of Sweden, Denmark, and Ireland. It was known to the Celtic British
and to the earliest Anglo-Saxon historian. The Goths and Visigoths believed
in it. It is also found in most (but not all) reports from and about the
Khazars who were also related to western peoples.
Some of the greatest figures in British history believed in it or had
sentiments in that direction. There is strong evidence from the Bible, from
Jewish sources, from history and archaeology supporting it.
In addition a few people who are lunatic or just plain bad have also
adopted it and they have given this belief a bad name in some circles.
We should not be moved.
By continuing to belief in this belief we are on the side of truth and
loyalty to our Israelite forefathers.
In addition to Brit-Am there are other people out there who hold to similar
beliefs. Some of these have written valuable works with useful research
and true insights, They also in some cases have a style and attitude that
some people can cope with easier than with our own.
As far as we are concerned we wish that such people should increase and
intensify their activities and that there should be more of them.
Brit-Am is still unique in some ways since we have a Jewish perspective. We
approach the subject in accordance with the niceties of the Hebrew language
and oral traditions. We are in Jerusalem which lends us something extra.
In several fields we have also shown how the Brit-Am message is consistent
with the latest research. Not only have we often been in line with the
latest academic findings but here and there a few steps in front of them.
We have built up an infra-structure and data base and methods of research
that can be used to spread this message further to both Joseph and Judah.
We need your moral and financial assistance. We are in need of your
well-being and that you look after yourselves. There are not that many of you.
May you increase in numbers, health and prosperity. Help Brit-Am.
God bless you all
