1. Davidic Dynasty Convention

I was amazed to see an interest in the Davidic Dynasty
so soon after the web-site was updated, just last night!
 
The Davidic Dynasty Convention is the brain storm of
Susan Roth.
 
Anyone that has a tradition in their family that they are
from the Royal House of David or has the last names listed
on the Davidic Dynasty are welcome to take the DNA tests
for the proper fee, which is discounted from the regular
price. It doesn't matter what country or religion you are
from.
 
At this time the research project is in it's infancy and all we
have to go on is the traditions that have been passed down
from parent to children. We are hoping that their will be an
archeology discovery in the future that will be the evidence
we need for exact DNA for the Davidic Dynasty. In our
pre-convention DNA testing we want to establish common
male DNA (Y-DNA) patterns and common female DNA (mtDNA)
patterns from people that know that they are from
the House of David.
 
This is an exciting project.

Shalom v'Yom Tov Yair:  I had a thought that I thought others in Brit Am might be interested in:  Those that believe they know which tribe they belong to or, those who feel a strong connection with a particular tribe, could begin to network with each other.  I for example, feel a strong connection with Dan.  Connecting with others who also believe they are from Dan would not only strengthen their commitment to Israel, but could also possibly develop a possible list of characteristics and personality traits that could better identify that tribe.  Likewise, this could be done for all the other tribes.
 
I personally would be willing to be a contact person for the tribe of Dan.  I would be willing to communicate with others who identify with this tribe.  All of this of course would be submitted to your authority and approval.  You could also designate a contact person for each of the other tribes save for Judah.  Any thoughts on this?  Shalom, Bill Rasmussen
 
3. Need for Genealogical Section
We propose to set up a separate section on our web-site
and e-mail listing for genealogical research.
We suggest that a listing be made for  surname. Names originating in the British Isles and amongst Jews
would be concentrated on at first, and later all other names  throughout Europe. The meaning of each family name would be given in the hope that correspondences be noticed to Biblical names. Other points to note would include the place of origin of  each family name and areas where people with such names are now concentrated.  Characteristics and peculiarities of occupation or talent noted in each family would be noted where the information is available.
Links would be given to web-sites and e-mail discussion lists that discuss family history and genealogy and frequently have much valuable information
in their archives.
Ultimately through our services a person could discover where his family came from and what tribe or even clan with the tribe they may well belong to.
A lot of the necessary information is already available on the web but needs somebody to put it together. This requires work, time,
and inspiration.
I would suggest that I oversee and direct this work (from a distance)  but somebody else do it.
 
4. Biblical Proofs no.16: Numerous
 
Genesis 15:5, 22:17,  24:60, 32:12, Numbers 23:10, Isaiah 10:22, 24:16, 26:15 Hosea 1:10, Deuteronomy 1:11
 
It was prophesied that the Lost Ten Tribes would be extremely numerous and numbers 100s of millions or more.  We must therefore look for a group of peoples related to each other who do have such numbers as well as fulfilling all the other criteria given by the Bible.
 
Only the Brit-Am solution fulfills these conditions.
 
Abraham was promised that his seed would be extremely numerous.
[Genesis 15:5] AND HE BROUGHT HIM FORTH ABROAD, AND SAID, LOOK NOW TOWARD HEAVEN, AND TELL THE STARS, IF THOU BE ABLE TO NUMBER THEM: AND HE SAID UNTO HIM, SO SHALL THY SEED BE.
 
[Genesis 22:17] THAT IN BLESSING I WILL BLESS THEE, AND IN MULTIPLYING I WILL MULTIPLY THY SEED  AS THE STARS OF THE HEAVEN, AND AS THE SAND WHICH IS UPON THE SEA SHORE; AND THY SEED  SHALL POSSESS THE GATE OF HIS ENEMIES;
[Genesis 22:18] AND IN THY SEED SHALL ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH BE BLESSED; BECAUSE THOU HAST OBEYED MY VOICE.
 
Isaac married Rebecca who it was predicted would become the mother of alfei revava or thousands of ten thousands(Genesis 24:60), translated as thousands of millions  by the King James.
[Genesis 24:60] AND THEY BLESSED REBEKAH, AND SAID UNTO HER, THOU ART OUR SISTER, BE THOU THE MOTHER OF THOUSANDS OF MILLIONS, AND LET THY SEED POSSESS THE GATE OF THOSE WHICH  HATE THEM.
 
Isaac was to be the ancestor of innumerable descendants.
[Genesis 32:12] AND THOU SAIDST, I WILL SURELY DO THEE GOOD, AND MAKE THY SEED AS THE SAND OF THE SEA, WHICH CANNOT BE NUMBERED FOR MULTITUDE.
 
The Israelites will be so numerous that they cannot be counted:
[Numbers 23:10] WHO CAN COUNT THE DUST OF JACOB, AND THE NUMBER OF THE FOURTH PART OF  ISRAEL? LET ME DIE THE DEATH OF THE RIGHTEOUS, AND LET MY LAST END BE LIKE HIS!
 
The Lost Ten Tribes at the end times will number an enormous number of people.
We saw how the Jews of Judah will be astounded at the numbers of Lost Israelites who will return even though they were not previously known to belong to Israel:
[Isaiah 49:21] THEN SHALT THOU SAY IN THINE HEART, WHO HATH BEGOTTEN ME THESE, SEEING I HAVE LOST MY CHILDREN, AND AM DESOLATE, A CAPTIVE, AND REMOVING TO AND FRO? AND WHO HATH BROUGHT UP THESE? BEHOLD, I WAS LEFT ALONE; THESE, WHERE HAD THEY BEEN?
 
Isaiah predicted that in the Last days only a few would survive and that disasters would occur:
[Isaiah 10:22] FOR THOUGH YOUR PEOPLE ISRAEL BE AS THE SAND OF THE SEA, ONLY A REMNANT OF THEM WILL RETURN. DESTRUCTION IS DECREED, OVERFLOWING WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS.
<<BE AS THE SAND OF THE SEA>>: Descendants of Israel will be exceedingly numerous towards the end times.
 
            Isaiah says that the nation will be increased greatly and be removed unto the ends of the earth (Isaiah 24:16, 26:15) meaning the geographical extremities of the world such as Britain, North America, Scandinavia, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
 
Hosea also said that the Children of Israel will be innumerable:
[Hosea 1:10] YET THE NUMBER OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL SHALL BE AS THE SAND OF THE SEA, WHICH CANNOT BE MEASURED NOR NUMBERED; AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT IN THE PLACE WHERE IT WAS SAID UNTO THEM, YE ARE NOT MY PEOPLE, THERE IT SHALL BE SAID UNTO THEM, YE ARE THE SONS OF THE LIVING GOD.
 
When you take everything all together and consider who we belief the Lost Ten Tribes to be today and their present numbers and compare them with that which was prophesied: Instead of asking how can them be so many? One could well ask, Where are the rest?
 
Brit-Am supporter, Colbert Brian, pointed out that an indicated number concerning the Israelites in the future could have been Six Hundred Million Males Plus Their Families!
 [Deuteronomy 1:11] THE LORD GOD OF YOUR FATHERS MAKE YOU A THOUSAND TIMES SO MANY MORE AS YE ARE, AND BLESS YOU, AS HE HATH PROMISED YOU!
            At that time they numbered more than 600,000 males who went out to war. A thousand times 600,000 makes 600 million males on to which must be added females and children under the age of twenty and men over the age of 60.
We have not yet necessarily reached these numbers but will do so in the future.
 
The possibility of demographic disaster.
 
If our peoples do not repent however there is the chance that our numbers be greatly reduced prior to the day of Deliverance.
 
[Isaiah 10:22] FOR THOUGH YOUR PEOPLE ISRAEL BE AS THE SAND OF THE SEA, ONLY A REMNANT OF THEM WILL RETURN. DESTRUCTION IS DECREED, OVERFLOWING WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS.
This indicates that towards the Last Days the Israelites will be exceedingly numerous but something could happen so that only a relatively few remain.
 
[Jeremiah 3:14] TURN, O BACKSLIDING CHILDREN, SAITH THE LORD; FOR I AM MARRIED UNTO YOU: AND I WILL TAKE YOU ONE OF A CITY, AND TWO OF A FAMILY, AND I WILL BRING YOU TO ZION:
This could mean several things: It could be that only a minority will return. Zechariah 13;8 indicates that there will be some kind of calamity and that only a third will survive:  AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT IN ALL THE LAND, SAITH THE LORD, TWO PARTS THEREIN SHALL BE CUT OFF AND DIE; BUT THE THIRD SHALL BE LEFT THEREIN[Zechariah 13:8].  It could mean something else. Jeremiah is speaking of a return to Zion. Zionaccording to the simple meaning is another term for Jerusalem meaning Judah in the religious sense. It could be that a relatively small portion (ONE OF A CITY, AND TWO OF A FAMILY) will be called upon to return in the religious sense prior to the Messianic Era.
 
[Ezekiel 5:2] THOU SHALT BURN WITH FIRE A THIRD PART IN THE MIDST OF THE CITY, WHEN THE DAYS OF THE SIEGE ARE FULFILLED: AND THOU SHALT TAKE A THIRD PART, AND SMITE ABOUT IT WITH A KNIFE: AND A THIRD PART THOU SHALT SCATTER IN THE WIND; AND I WILL DRAW OUT A SWORD AFTER THEM.
Ezekiel is referring to the fate of Jerusalem on the simple level.   One third destroyed within the city, another third in the area around about, and the last third scattered and exiled. A similar use of dividing into threes concerning a coming calamity was found in Zechariah.
 
 [Zechariah 13:8] AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, THAT IN ALL THE LAND, SAITH THE LORD, TWO PARTS THEREIN SHALL BE CUT OFF AND DIE; BUT THE THIRD SHALL BE LEFT THEREIN.
[Zechariah 13:9] AND I WILL BRING THE THIRD PART THROUGH THE FIRE, AND WILL REFINE THEM AS SILVER IS REFINED, AND WILL TRY THEM AS GOLD IS TRIED: THEY SHALL CALL ON MY NAME, AND I WILL HEAR THEM: I WILL SAY, IT IS MY PEOPLE: AND THEY SHALL SAY, THE LORD IS MY GOD.
The general explanation suggested is that some calamity will occur. Two-thirds of the worlds people (including, by implication, two-thirds of the Israelites?) will perish. Part of the remaining third of non-Israelites and Israelites by descent will then accept the faith of Israel and identify as Israelites BUT then will come the troubles of Gog and Magog. There will be persecutions and the threat of extinction. Most of the non-Israelites who accepted the Israelite faith will back out and it will be mainly those of Israelite descent who remain attached to Israelite religion.
 
After all that, no matter what happens our numbers will increase again.
 
5. Report:
Indications are that we are doing OK. We should perhaps emphasize more Biblical sources in our postings.
In the recent past our financial situation improved. This month incoming funds were comparatively reasonable but we were
faced with large and unexpected expenses.
We need your offerings to keep going and we believe that you may need us to go on.
