1. Need for Israeli Expansion
From: David
Jackson
Subject: Re: Jerusalem News-255
Yair,
Israel has for too
long bent over backwards to appease the liberal and
secular media in Western
Europe and North America. This hasn't worked. No
matter how much Israel
gives, the Arabs and their supporters in the West
will always press for
more. There can be no land for peace. It is more
like extortion -- give us
land or we'll give you war!
I hope and pray that your tiny nation soon
comes to its senses. When the
US was in its formative stages, our early
political leaders openly followed
a policy to permanently acquire land that
we did not then own. President's
Jefferson, Jackson, Tyler, Polk, and
others intentionally fought wars and
negotiated treaties with one primary
goal -- extending our sovereignty.
The world was not so different then as
one might be tempted to believe
now. There was incredibly strong political
opposition to these
efforts. But they persisted and made the US a
continental power (as
opposed to the "island" between the Atlantic ocean and
Mississippi river
that Great Britain tried to limit the US to -- one
prominent historian
contends that Jackson's victory over the British at the
Battle of New
Orleans was the most important victory the US ever won because
it opened
the West to American expansion. The treaty of Ghent did not
provide for
this.).
The world is a far better place today because of
it. The wealth and power
of this nation preserved freedom in the 20th
century.
If only Israel would do the same! If Israel extended from the
Mediterranean Sea to the Tigris and Euphrates, there would be no oil
crisis, Israel would be safe from Arab invasion, and the region would
become immensely wealthy. While Israel itself might be the greatest
beneficiary of this, the rest of the world would be better, too, just as it
is with a wealthy and powerful USA.

3. Brother Jonathan
"Brother
Jonathan" was the nickname citizens of the USA gave themselves
before
adopted the figure of
"Uncle Sam".
Source: Webster's Revised
Unabridged Dictionary (1913)
<<Brother Jonathan, a humorous
designation for the people of
the United States collectively. The
phrase is said to have
originated from Washington's referring to the
patriotic
Jonathan Trumbull, governor of Connecticut, as
``Brother
Jonathan.''
http://www.brojon.org/features/brojonstory.html
<<As
far as my research can determine the Brother Jonathan symbol was never
made
a visual symbol. The term refers to a statement made by Gen. George
Washington during the revolutionary war when supplies and ammunition were
extremely low and his officers asked where they would get more. He replied,
"We'll just have to rely on Brother Jonathan."
<<He was
referring to Jonathan Trumbell who was a leader of the Continental
Congress
which was supplying the colonial army with the funds and materials
to fight
the revolutionary war. The catch phrase quickly caught on as
"Brother
Jonathan" referring to the "source" of the energy, pride and
fighting spirit
which produced the new union of the American states. >>
At all
events Jonathan was the son of Shaul the first king of Israel. Shaul
came
from the Tribe of Benjamin
which eventually to be subsumed and included in
Judah. Even so, in many
ways Benjamin was representative of the House of
Joseph. Shimei the son of
Gera, for instance, was a Benjaminite (2-Samuel
16:5), yet he describes
himself as belonging to the "House of
Joseph".
[2-Samuel 19:20] FOR THY SERVANT DOTH KNOW THAT I HAVE SINNED:
THEREFORE,
BEHOLD, I AM COME THE FIRST THIS DAY OF ALL THE HOUSE OF JOSEPH
TO GO DOWN
TO MEET MY LORD THE KING.
In synagogues throughout the
world on this Shabbat the portion
describing the meeting between
Jonathan
and David.
1-Samuel, 20:18 onwards.
[1-Samuel 20:42] AND JONATHAN SAID TO
DAVID, GO IN PEACE, FORASMUCH AS WE
HAVE SWORN BOTH OF US IN THE NAME OF
THE LORD, SAYING, THE LORD BE BETWEEN
ME AND THEE, AND BETWEEN MY SEED AND
THY SEED FOR EVER. AND HE AROSE AND
DEPARTED: AND JONATHAN WENT INTO THE
CITY.
David and Jonathan were friends who swore an eternal friendship between
each other.
David represents Judah.
Jonathan represents Joseph.
Let
us hope that this bond will grow and be strengthened.
4. Biblical Proofs
no 38. Many Waters
[Numbers 24:7] HE SHALL POUR THE WATER OUT OF HIS
BUCKETS, AND HIS SEED
SHALL BE IN MANY WATERS, AND HIS KING SHALL BE HIGHER
THAN AGAG, AND HIS
KINGDOM SHALL BE EXALTED.
<<POUR THE WATER OUT
OF HIS BUCKETS>>:
AGAG represents the most powerful ruler in the
non-Israelite world. Israel
will surpass his might.
Many watersin all
Oceans and on every sea. A powerful world-encompassing
kingdom.
Onkelos
translates this verse into Aramaic as meaning:
<<His king will be
great, he will be multiplied with sons, and he will rule
over mighty peoples
and be more powerful than King Agag and he will take
his
kingdom>>.
[Onkelos was a righteous convert related to one of the Roman
Emperors. He
translated (after consulting with the sages) the Bible into
Aramaic and his
translation was sanctioned by the sages. His translation is
often more like
a commentary based on accepted traditions].
The
descendants of Israel will be found in many waters (Numbers 24:7), i.e.
abiding by different Seas and Oceans whilst remaining one coherent
whole.
Peoples we identify as Israelite nations today are to be found by
the
Indian and Pacific Oceans (Australia, New Zealand), by the Pacific and
Atlantic Oceans (North America), by the Atlantic and Indian Oceans (South
Africa), and by the North Sea (Western Europe). No other related group of
nations fulfills this criteria, at least not to such a degree.

Kony Who?
In Miami Florida there is somebody who calls himself
Rabbi Moshe
Yoseph Koniuchowsky.
This person is not a rabbi but rather a kind of
Christian pastor.
He has some kind of following.
In the past he sold a
few of our works but then turned nasty.
He sent me a letter demanding that I
include Palestinian Arabs and Turks
amongst the Israelites.
He also took
an article out of one of our magazine and without asking
permission
reprinted it entirely
and represented it as a foundational statement of his
church's doctrine.
His goons started sending harassing letters to people on
our list and even
telephoning some of our supporters.
That is why we no
longer usually give the e-mail addresses of people who
write to us.
His
minions told nasty lies about Rabbi Feld and Yair Davidiy.
He himself
preached against us and tried to intimidate those who were for us.
In general
he has a threatening manner and quite a few have written to me
about
him.
One lady who incurred his wrath now fears for her safety at the hands of
one of his nut-case supporters.
A few nuts and anti-semites are on his
staff even though he pretends to
support the State of Israel
and attracts
supporters through imitating a "Yiddish" rabbi.
Apart form that not all his
followers and staff are like that and some of
them may be OK
and actually
Brit-Am sympathizers.
We usually ignore these type of people but there are
exceptions.
