1. Beowulf and Rome
From: Huib Dubbelman
Subject: Re: "Brit-Am Now"-336

After reading the books, Biblical Truth abd Origin, .. I have a
question. In the jewish sages there were 70 nations with their 70 angels.
You wrote about Gomer and Israel, the Scyths, Cimmerians and migratory
movements to the north. Do you have idea which of the 70 angels ruled the
Saxons, the Vikings and the other Germanic and Celtic tribes?

It is well know that the Germanic people in history were enemies of the
Romans. You can read in the storey of Beowulf an old English work (Zacharias
P. Thundy, Northen Michigan University. He struggled with Grendel an
Armlilus figure. The Germanic nations in the fifth century claimed was the
major sinister power not the Huns but Rome. In the Old Norse Vosugasaga
allegorizes a conflict between the Germanic nations and Rome. In this Saga
kills Sigurd a dragon -allegorizes the victory of Germania over Rome which
is represented by the wolf that suckled Remus and Romulus etc. The christian
Book Apocalypse showed  the most anti-Roman texts.
Are  these some influences of the ten lost tribes and are the angels of
these nations also anti Rome and did support Israel.
H. Dubbelman

Brit-Am Comment: Zacharias P. Thundy is (or was) a member of our list.He
comes from an ancient
Christian community in India that he believes may have originated from
Israel or from somewhere in the
Middle East. He is an expert in Anglo-Saxon history and provided us with
information we found useful.

2. Comment on Tribes Return
Greetings Yair, I wholeheartedly agree with Judy Snyder's suggestion about
the tribes returning to the contested areas in support of our Jewish
brothers. I have long felt it would be a privilege to physically stand with
the people in the 'fire wall' communities. My only concern would be whether
or not they would accept our presence in the spirit it was intended. It
would have to be made abundantly clear that we were no threat to them or
their belief. Where do I sign up? []

a sieve;
yet shall not the least kernel fall upon the earth. (Amos 9:9)

3. Terry Blodgett: KHAZAR is the same word as (C)HAZOR
From: Terry Blodgett <blodgett@suu.edu>
Subject: Re: Steven M. Collins: THE KHAZARS
Shalom,

I would like to congratulate Steve Collins on his article on the
Khazars.  It was well done and I concur whole heartedly with it.  I
would just like to suggest where the word KHAZAR could have originated:
Even though there was a man from the tribe of Judah named Khariah, I
think that the name KHAZAR is the same word as HAZOR.  Spelled with a
chet in Hebrew, it very well could have been spelled with a KH in
KHAZARIA.  When adding a suffix in Hebrew, the vowel O would change to a
A.  HAZOR was originally a non Israelite city, which Joshua destroyed.
Afterward it became an Israelite city and was the leading city in the
north of Israel; so that supports the idea that these could have been
Israelites, mixed in as Steve says with many from the various tribes and
undoubtedly some non-Israelites.  It might lessen the evidence that they
were primarily from the tribe of Judah, but the mix, as he says, is
quite strongly supported in all that he wrote.

Best of wishes,
Terry Blodgett

Brit-Am Comment: Terry Blodgett is a professor of linguistics at
Southern Utah University. He wrote a very  important ground-breaking booklet
proving the linkage between Germanic tongues and Hebrew. Extracts from this
work were published in the 2nd edition of our book : The Tribes" (now out
of print).
We hope to receive an article from Professor Blodgett concerning his work
that we will be able to publish in a coming issue of our magazine, Brit-Am
Truth.

4. Debbie Jacques: Return of Joseph?
From: Debbie Jacques
Subject: Judy Snyder article

Yair,

In response to Judy Snyder in Texas may I add this.  If you do get this
committee of Rabbi's together as she suggested, then please discuss also the
possibility of letting your closest allies on the planet return without
being forced to convert to Judaism.  This group is most unlikely to convert
to Judaism in it's present form.   These Evangelical Zionist allies are
among the most committed to their faith but share many of the same
conservative values of Orthodox Judaism.  They would be a huge benefit to
both the moral and economic vitality of Israel and many would come with
large families in tow.  It is not uncommon for them to homeschool their
children after the "Hebrew Model" of training up your children in the way
they should go,  this {homeschooling} being the fastest growing form of
education in the U.S.  They are already a bit of an oddity in American
culture, as they fight against popular secularism and strive themselves to
be a people 'set apart'.  They are spirited and tenacious individuals with
the zeal of  true pioneers. They would bring a renewed spirit and hope to a
discouraged and battered Judah....  Because of their history, lineage, and
marked support for Jews and
Israel today they are likely your most solid and obvious choice as you seek
to identify the lost tribes....  One should consider that BOTH
Judah and Joseph have something to offer in this partnership.  If G-d had
wanted Joseph to, in the end look like Judah, then I would think He would
not have had them take this long and separate journey through history.

Your Sister; daughter of Joseph,

Debra Jacques

Brit-Am Comment:  I personally believe that the time may not be right for
such movements.
We all need (in my opinion) to learn the Bible at a deeper level and the
answers will come.

5. Ruth Thomas: The Return
Yair,
I think it is a good thing to remember that God is doing more than just
calling the ten lost tribes back to Israel to take up space. He is calling a
people unto Himself. I think it is wise to see why the ten tribes were
dispersed and how they can be restored. In Deuteronomy 29: 10-29 God makes a
covenant with the ten tribes. He then gives the blessings that come by
making a covenant with Him and what happens when that covenant is broken:
cursings and being dispersed from the land. The Bible gives us what to do
when we discover who we are and most importantly; when we want to be
restored to our God; not just a tribe Deuteronomy 30: 1:20. He will then
open the doors for a people that are seeking to renew the ancient covenant
with Him; to reinherit their lands.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20 (King James Version)
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set
before you life and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy
seed may live: THAT THOU MAYEST LOVE THE LORD THY GOD, AND THAT THOU MAYEST
OBEY HIS VOICE, AND THAT THOU MAYEST CLEAVE UNTO HIM: FOR HE IS THY LIFE,
AND THE LENGTH OF THY DAYS: THAT THOU MAYEST DWELL IN THE LAND WHICH THE
LORD SWARE UNTO THY FATHERS, TO ABRAHAM, TO JACOB, TO GIVE THEM.
